When I started reading the grimoire, I had a huge headache and would take an elixir every five minutes or so.
As I continued reading, I acquired an incomprehensible skill called 【Magic Addiction Resistance】. After acquiring it, my physical condition is much better and my efficiency is greatly improved. And now, after evolving to 'Magical Addiction Disabled', there are no more obstacles to reading grimoires.
The letters in the grimoire were a list of unfamiliar symbols, but I had obtained something like a translation of the grimoire language from a treasure chest, so I used it to decipher it.
As a result, I found out that I can't use normal magic.
Here, magic has a concept called attribute magic. This is what we commonly refer to as magic.
This attribute magic has a general attribute and a special attribute.
The general attribute includes the four basic attributes of fire, water, earth, and wind, and the top four attributes of ice, lightning, light, and darkness, for a total of eight. The special attribute is the general term for all other attribute magic.
This attribute magic is basically only available to those who have a talent, including grimoire contracts. This talent is apparently a separate concept that is not a boon (gift) or skill, and those that cannot be contracted with a grimoire will never be able to acquire the magic, no matter how much training they have.
Therefore, it's impossible for me, who can't even sign a grimoire contract, to obtain one. So, it's not so much that these 60 years were a waste.
There is another concept of magic, called non-attribute magic. It's not just a matter of time before you'll be able to get a good deal more than you think. It's a good thing that you're not going to have to worry about it, because it's just a matter of manipulating the magic, so you don't need any special talents. It's exactly the right power for me right now.
In this regard, the books I acquired in the labyrinth were not only grimoires, but also tens of thousands of other specialized books. And after perusing those books repeatedly to the point of memorization for the last 60 years, I discover that some unattributed magic is very inefficient.
The realization of this fact came to me when I read a book called Medicine.
The human body is made up of a ridiculous number of components called cells, which come together to form tissues, and then the tissues come together to form organs with certain functions. The organs we call organs are these organs. The grimoire of non-attribute magic, the grimoire of 【Ultra Strengthening Body】 and 【Ultra Fast Healing】, makes the objects that contain this magic power multiple organizations. You're going to be able to get a lot more strength if you put your magic power into smaller units, ideally a single cell, and manipulate them. That requires precise manipulation of magical power. And if this magic manipulation becomes possible, I should be able to acquire my first long-range attack method.
However, it will require much more time and discipline to pull it off than in the past.
