Heavenly Castle

Elves suck.

"Oh, here we go again."

"Again!? I've found nearly ten people already..."

That said, I turn to the right screen. Then there was certainly the appearance of two elves sitting in a chair in a room without windows. The elf is looking at this one with his eyes rounded, with a slight look of fear as well.

But Yuri walked quietly toward those two, and after a short conversation, they all nodded up.

What kind of talk did you have in a few moments? When Yuri smiled and turned her back on the elves and walked out of the room, they immediately followed.

Look at the sight, I exhale deeply.

"... you sound like an awesome detective. I think I got a glimpse of Yuri's unexpected talent."

And, whining about that, Violet opened her mouth in disgust.

"... didn't you need my information or something?

He mouths it like that in a grumpy manner, waves one hand and denies it with an accidental grin.

"No, no. The Empire is huge. Thanks to Mr. Violet for narrowing down the place somewhat."

"Not very convincing, huh?

He snorts at my words and says so. Returns an ambiguous grin at Violet and turns his eyes to the screen again.

The fact is, thanks to Violet's information, I've had an extraordinary increase in the rate at which I discover elves, but Violet seems skeptical of my language.

Well, it's a de facto hostility, so I can't help it.

"Ah, Mr. Rant and Mr. Schnae have protected the elves safely too."

On the screen on the left was the figure of Rant and Schnae, who were exploring elves in another city. Two rarely armored elves. He carries a big bow and arrow on his back.

"Do you use a bow?"

When I squealed like that, Eira nodded.

"Elves are a lot of suited people as magicians, but I hear they're also good bowmen, so I guess those guys are good bowmen too, without leaking into that example"

I heard the explanation, and, hmm, I nod a few times. Everyone in the elves is skinny and agreeable because it suits them to fight at a distance. But if you lived in the woods, there's a lot of shielding and I feel unfavourable in the fight, but what do you think?

Aifa's way of saying it doesn't seem like he's going to fight like he's going to hurt a forest tree without darkness, and that's going to be around for the reason he lost to the Imperial Army.

With that in mind, I push my body against the back of the chair and stretch my back.

"Whatever it is, you're on schedule. Shall we ask the elves to move to the evacuation area? Is this fifteen? We're gonna find them all in a week."

Ho stroked his chest down and said so, Eira smiled and hammered "yes".

There, I can hear you laughing like you pushed him to death.

"Hehe... Well, what about that?

Eira looks sharply at Violet, who speaks in an inclusive way.

"What do you mean?

Eira intensifies her narrative and asks, but Violet completely ignores it without even looking.

The air stretches heavily over the vast space because of it, and I cough up one in an awkward atmosphere.

"Uh... maybe it's about the last one."

I answered that to Eira instead of Violet. Then not only Eira but Violet's face turns this way as well.

"The last one?

Yes, Eira asked me, and I nodded with an eyebrow root.

"Yeah. I found out where the elves are and how many of them are much more precise than I thought I would combine the two pieces of information with the information that Aifa looked into and Violet told me. That's the number of elves we've been able to find so far."

"Yes. I had a slight suspicion at first, but the information General Violet brought was certainly useful."

"Yes. Thanks to that solid information, I was sure. It was vague where and how many people were talking about Aifa, but I know Violet's information only within the capital. If you calculate the remaining number of people, one of the elves will be missing"

When I said that and exhaled shallow, Eira clouded her expression.

"... No way, one died..."

"It's possible too...... but I haven't heard about the elves being dead. Now, where is the last one..."

Laughs as Violet leaks her breath with a mean grin.

He seems to know something, but I have trouble being forced to hear it out and be lied to. I can never torture you, and I have to look for you on my own?

Nevertheless, the place will be fine because I can somehow imagine it.

Looking at the screen with that in mind, Eira looked sideways at Violet with regret.

"Dear Tyki. General Violet knows exactly where he is."

"Maybe. But I can't even force you to throw up..."

"But to help the elves..."

"Well, I'm fine. I don't want to do anything terrible, and let's look for it ourselves."

When I said that and forgive Eira, Violet put her arms together and snorted, smiling like she had won.

"Can you fulfill that long thought and find an elf... if you tell me, I won't even cooperate..."

"... are you willing to negotiate?

A strong colour of vigilance is added to Eira's expression. Violet opened her mouth as she looked pleasantly at the face.

"It's not as big a demand as negotiating. It's time to get tired of it on the sky, and I just want you to drop me off in the Empire..."

"Huh! There's no way I can do that!

Reflectively, Eira rejects Violet's request. In contrast, Violet frowned and clasped her shoulders.

"Oh? If Lady Eira is not a people of her own country, does it matter what her life and death are? Sure, if I join the Imperial Army, it'll be a hassle there. As for the sorcerer, if one wrong step results in Yuri losing his life, we are certain to be hostile to the Frieder Empire, which is building friendly relations around the corner. It won't be a big problem, such as an elf settlement with just under a hundred people, except when it comes to relations with one country…"

"Eh, I didn't say the elves don't care!!

Violet talks to Bella as she provokes, and Eira blushes and absurds her voice.

I laughed bitterly at Eira, who was firmly deprived of the lead by Violet, and I spoke out.

"I'm also interested in Mr. Violet's information, but I'm not open to negotiation."

When I told them so, their eyes turned to this way.

"Ha, Master Taiki, but..."

Eira sounds anxious and Violet stares at me with angry eyes.

"... boulders are kings of the sky, huh? I don't want to negotiate with you for something like the fate of the people on earth..."

That's what they say in disgusting ways, blinking your eyes and opening your mouth.

"Huh? You don't think so, do you? However, since the last one seems to be in the castle, I don't know if I need to negotiate with Mr. Violet..."

With that said, Violet opened her eyes.

"Hey, why did you... Huh!? No way, I knew from the beginning..."

Smile gently and nod at the stunned Violet.

"Again, was it in the castle? He thought the emperor would never let go of the elf, so one or two of them would be hiding it from him."

With such a mouthful of laughter, Violet noticed that she had been camouflaged and even stared at this one with intent to kill in her eyes.

Conversely, Eira turns her sparkling eyes.

I laugh back at Ayla and make her think.

One hidden in the castle.

At times of need, all the elves would be so important that they couldn't move.

It could be the elder or the son.

If you're going to hide it, where Aifa, who lives in the castle, can't find it. The basement, the hidden room... or the emperor's own room, huh?

"Either way, I'm pretty sure this is going to be war with the Empire"

I groaned and sighed deeply in such a small voice that no one could hear me.
