Heavenly Castle

Temperature difference inside and outside the city

Getting into the Wang capital was surprisingly easy.

There are quite a few people in and out every day, so maybe we only do the minimum checks. However, I do not know whether it is defensively possible to confirm the country of origin and the purpose of entry by word of mouth or belongings, and to include only one piece of silver coin of toll.

Is it okay because there are soldiers standing around the gate and in the back who have solidified their gear disappointingly, and they have the power to make gold say things? Well, the economy may be the number one priority in a country where so many merchants come from around the world.

Passing through the gate and into the walls with that in mind, I was overwhelmed by the view.

There is a two-story stone building lined up in front of you, with a narrow location and an outdoor shop on the side of the walls. The neighborhood was surrounded by numerous people, and the bustle dominated the city.

Step on the beautiful path of the cobblestone and look around.

There are soldiers in armor, merchants in robes, even beasts and elves all sorts of people just to look at. The outfit is also varied and interesting.

And apart from the view nearby, behind the building, a building that is gradually tall toward the center of the Wang capital gives a peek at its head.

It was a story about the center of the Wang capital being as exuberant as a hill, but if you look far away without knowing anything, you will feel a terribly huge royal castle that can be centered.

However, for those who have no status or money, the place may feel like it is far away and overlooked out of reach.

"... Dear Tyki?

As I stopped thinking about that, Eira called me out. Turning around, everyone is looking at this one.

"Is something wrong?

"No... think of it as an interesting city shape inside. How do we get into the center?

"Isn't the sturdy looking building on the front the entrance that leads inside? However, those who go inside are the royal nobility and those who have a lot of money, and you may have to undergo a solid test to get inside."

Yuri answered with a troubled face.

"Oh, nothing. I'm fine because I'm not thinking about going to the aristocracy. In the meantime, can we go to that stall there?

"Yes, I'd love to see it"

"What kind of things are you selling?

Yuri and Eira look at the stall with intrigue. They're baking meat, and the fragrant smell makes them appetizing. I stab the skewers and bake them like grilled chicken, but they only seem to taste like salt.

The middle-aged man who bakes meat makes an unexpectedly wealthy stand. I was wondering if a lighter, more stall-like person was baking it.

"Excuse me. How much for one of those?

When I rang that, the man looked at this one as he grilled the meat. Look at me, look at Eira and the others. And finally, I looked at Aifa and A1 and blinked my eyes.

"... oh, oh, yes. Five copper coins in one bottle..."

With the obviously upset windy man sidelined, I turn around Eira.

"Is it okay to buy about ten bottles?

"Ten, is it? Well, money is perfectly fine, but can you eat so much..."

He smiled back bitterly at the confused Eira and turned to the man in the street.

"Ten, please."

"Oh, su, I'll have it ready in a minute...!

When ordered, the man rushes to check the roasted meat and gives it to us. Eira received two bottles, as did Yuri.

Paying in silver coins while the rest burns, Eifa asks me if I've distracted you. I'll take the last two.

"Oh, thank you. Be sure to come back."

I responded to the man who bowed his head deeply, returning the meeting.

"Yes, thank you"

Step away from the stall with the Eira with the meat in both hands and speak questions.

"Something nervous about that uncle?

Asking no one, Aifa nods.

"I guess they thought you were noble or millionaire enough to hire an elf mage and a golem for your escort. But it's not a mistake."

Aifa said that seriously with both hands of meat skewers.

"... a country with a smaller population than a village."

When I say that and smile back, Aifa looks at this one without answering anything. No, because the kingdom of the sky has a population of ten.

I laughed ridiculously at myself for thinking that, and turned my face to Eira.

"I'd like to go outside for a moment, okay?

"Outside? Oh, no way, Dear Tyki..."

Eira said nothing more and closed her mouth, laughing like she was in trouble.

But Aifa glances slightly at the root of her eyebrows and looks at this one.

"... with some application, I was wondering if my life outside would improve"

"That's right. Just..."

So whining, I looked inside the city again.

Until earlier, I was impressed by the streets of different worlds that I saw for the first time raw, but once I settled down, the way I saw them would change.

There's too much difference between outside the city and inside. Therefore, as if this exciting and rare city, gaya gaya and lively bustling people can see somewhere to make a crop.

The true appearance of the city is as dark and sinking as it is outside, making it feel like some people are straining and decorating it to deceive.

Of course, there is no such thing as what the city looks like, it's just a table and a view behind it.

But it is also impossible to honestly enjoy this city because of it.

"... now let's go form hypocrisy"

When I told her that while laughing in a dry voice, Aifa nodded quietly without saying anything.

Going out of the city with a surprise look at the soldiers at the gatekeeper and heading under the earlier child.

I knew that bread would be stolen, too.

Walking with that in mind, there was a crowd at the place where the child was falling.

Most of them are like children.

"Oh? There's some kind of number..."

When I stopped and squealed like that, the kids turned this way simultaneously. Even though it's just kids, I find it oddly intimidating when seen in large numbers.

As they were wondering what to do, the kids groaned small when they saw Aifa and A1.

"... ugh"

Obviously frightened. Well, I'd be scared if I had an aifa or a big A1 or something in front of me that always looked scary.

"Oh, I'm not going to harm you, am I? Hey, there's something for the kids..."

So I opened my hands and appealed to them to be harmless, but now the kids' eyes nailed to my hands.

Speaking of which, we were all a weird bunch with meat in both hands. And the children are clearly likely to have trouble eating every day.

Meat, you have to hand it out, right? But it's definitely not enough, right?

As I was solidifying into a thought I didn't quite understand, now a woman in a black robe came out of the back of the kids. Something about a church sister-like outfit.

"Oh, um... I'm sorry. Children behave rudely..."

With that said, Sister stood to shelter the children with a blue face and stopped moving when she realized we had meat in our hands.

... I wonder what to do with this.
