Heavenly Castle

Katerina Hafen

Looking up at the heavy sky, Katerina Hafen muttered.

"... empty..."

Rain clouds covering and hiding the sun have shades that are not strange whenever they descend. In the distance, thunder was also heard, and Katerina was under the illusion that she was being chased by thunderclouds.

The kingdom of Fluke was a relatively peaceful country due to its small but stable rule. The less ambitious king always thought only of defense and showed only interest within the country.

But even in a territory small enough for other countries to lower their priorities, industries such as agriculture, forestry and leather goods thrived at the hands of the king.

The Count Hafen family is in such a fluke kingdom and is a famous Martial Arts family specializing in warfare.

Though not strategically required, some enemies sometimes attacked the Fluke kingdom. But the Count Hafen family prevented it.

Because he was good at fighting to protect, he had less flashy combat skills, but was known by other countries as the most difficult opponent to attack.

Thus, when the Blau Empire attacked, Count Hafen's territory would be thoroughly ravaged and all the Count boys would be killed.

Katerina continued to see all of it, whether her own growing land was ravaged or her family executed one after the other.

And Caterina's heart broke.

Katerina's emotions remained dark and sinking when the merchants of the Koshmar Chamber of Commerce bought them from the Blau Empire in an extrajudicial quantity of gold coins, when they were naked in front of the king of the Kingdom of Karluk and the president of the Koshmar Chamber of Commerce, and when they were lined up as commodities in slave auctions.

For Caterina, who was mentally ill, life and death were the earliest things that mattered.

In contrast, the man in the same carriage, sitting in the front and looking at the sides and limbs of Caterina and distorting his mouth, was filled with joy without any more.

He is a fat merchant-style man who won a bid for Caterina.

He was restless while he waited all day for the auction process, spending time wandering around and abusing and killing slaves he was trying to sell in other cities.

Such a man looks at Caterina and zeroes the pleasure of not knowing more than once.

"Gu, gu... Almost there, you too? If I can, I want to kill and strip it without compromising its beauty... but you are too valuable as a product"

When the man said so with his tongue nodding, he raised his hands in front of his face.

And fold your fingers one at a time.

"To the kings and marquises of this country, the dukes and counts of neighbouring countries, the Viscounts and even the great merchants of other countries. Ha ha... even in exchange for a lot of money, these fingers are not enough for anyone who wants you."

That said, the man, who happily folded all his fingers, narrowed his eyes and stared at Katerina.

"But unfortunately, your selling address is set. And I, Nageeb, was born."

He shrugs, shakes his head in a lofty gesture, shakes his belly and laughs.

"From the beginning, all that auction was muscular. Yes. The only purpose is to appeal to those in power in other countries who want you. By a fair auction, you were beaten down."

Katerina's expression reacts slightly to the words. Raise the edge of your mouth to that slight change, and Nageeb nasty.

"Oh, have you finally reacted? There's no point in selling a doll. I'd use whatever means I could have used, torture or medicine, to finish up as the best slave I could, because I'm not allowed to hurt that Miss Katerina... but if it breaks me anyway, it would be the same thing... hmm?

He was Nageeb, whining to himself with a lowly face, but suddenly the carriage stopped with the horse's? and frowned.

"Who told you to stop!? Sauro! You want to be whipped again!?

Instantly furious, Nageeb rose shaking his luxury flesh and put his face out of the carriage window.

And breathtaking.

There was a suspicious group of thin, dirty robes lined up around the carriage, and the men who were your men and the men who were your escorts were bleeding to fall.

"Then, stupid...... you guys! Do you know what it means to get your hands on the Koshmar Chamber of Commerce in this King's Capital!?

When Nageeb yelled, one of the group of robes moved.

When he takes a dagger out of his chest without a sound and shows off his blade, he quietly opens his mouth.

"I know. That's why it makes sense."

When he said so, the man poked at the dagger in his hand and turned his eyes to Katerina.

"Get out."

"No, you can't! Don't leave! Don't move!

To the man's instructions, Nageeb screams the words of denial reflexively.

Shortly after, there was blood in the carriage.

"Bye!

Screaming, Nageeb holds down his cut arm.

"Blood, blood! You killed me!? You, I remember your face...! I will follow you to the end of the earth, and I will kill you!

The man quickly pulled Katerina out of the carriage as he listened to Nageeb's words, which drove his eyes bloody to anger.

And point the blade tip of the sword at Nagyb's face.

"I can't believe you think you can go home alive... well, easier to kill than a man crying and begging for his life"

"Wah, wah, kill me...!? If you do that, what happens! You don't even know that!?

"Annoying. Will they chase you to the end of the earth? Okay, so you're dead. Pigs."

He groaned so in a sigh mix, and the man stuck his dagger forward.

From inside the carriage, the scream of the disconnected demon, unlike anything in the world, rises, and Katerina's eyes, who was outside, turn to the entrance of the carriage.

When the blood-soaked man came out of it, the other men who were surrounding him turned their faces as well.

"Nageeb, the slave buyer at the Koshmar Chamber of Commerce, killed him. Next up is Murat, the slave seller. Let's hurry."

When a man tells him as he behaves with a dagger, the men nod silently and run out. The move was quick and clearly not an amateur in battle.

The man looks around, checks to see how the average person is doing on the far-roll, and takes Katerina's hand.

"We're leaving here first. Make your own decisions after that."

When the man glanced at Katerina and said so without changing her expression like a doll, he pulled his hand and ran out.

Katerina looked sideways at the carriage she was riding as she ran afterwards.
