Heavenly Castle

Correct treatment of the finest slaves?

Water and a three-degree meal. There's a roof, there's a bed made of wood.

That was certainly the condition when we entered into our contract as the finest slaves.

But every one of them is a substitute that never seems to be the minimum necessary. Has the horse cabin been miscellaneously remodeled, rain grains dripping off the roof, and the installed bed is broken and leaning. The meal is bread with slight vegetable scum or mildew. The water stored in the jar also smells like smell.

"... hungry, hungry..."

Unexpectedly, a voice swept out of my mouth. Six men, including myself, sleep in one room without even a window, but it seems like everyone is half-dead for harsh labor and less food.

I was still bought for a few days, but the others heard it was this environment for a few more months.

I think the days I was learning skills in that store gave me the best life.

He lost in the war, became a prisoner, and was sold as a slave for nearly a decade. The days of slavery that stained me by then were certainly the same life and environment as I am today. In some cases, it was not applied to meals for two days a day.

Originally, that's what slaves are for.

But not at that store.

He was given a better life than before falling into slavery, was highly educated because he needed it, and also trained to develop his own stunts.

It was tough every day, but full of fulfillment.

And he was taught to do his job with skill and pride, not to be ashamed of himself as the finest slave. It is synonymous with being told to live like a man again.

That wasn't good.

I honed myself in a privileged environment and restored the confidence I had long forgotten.

Therefore, the discouragement with this situation now and the despair for one's future are so great that one wonders whether this place is the bottom of the earth.

Without knowing it, I had myself biting my back teeth and shaking my lips.

There is sadness and anger, but above all regret. Though I was told to do it, I tried harder than anyone else. Maybe we can get out of that shitty slave life. That's what I thought, I tried.

Isn't that a lot of treatment?

If this were to happen, I wish I hadn't been given hope.

I leak too much regret, groaning.

That's how the spearhead of anger turned to that exotic slave shop, that's when.

Suddenly, the door to the room, which was about to collapse, was broken from the outside.

A fragment of a tree dances and a familiar soldier rolls down the floor. Always, a man who watches and abuses slaves like us.

The man screaming like an animal was slapped by a giant arm in front of him and rolled into the back of the room again.

And there's a giant golem in the room with his face.

"... Huh! Golem of the kingdom of the sky......!

No way. I thought so. But I can only assume so.

"Wow, you came to help me...?

With that in his mouth, Golem looked back at his body here and walked over. I turn that giant round my back and turn it down, and lift it up fuzzy with every bed I ride.

Apparently, you really came to the rescue. The moment you think that, you lose power from your body.

"Yay, thanks..."

Mumbling like that in a plundered voice, the scenery around you catches my eye. Blurry buildings, beds, and pathetic slaves trembling in the corners of the room...... my chest ached strongly at the way it looked.

"Something they can't help either..."

The moment he squeals so, Golem only turns his face and sees the slaves.

"Huh?"

While I was also amazed at Golem's behavior, this time I turned to them to offer them the bed I remained on.

No way, a magician from a sky country nearby is hearing my slight whine and actually transferring it to action.

I was amazed. But now there's something ahead of it.

You have to reach out to them, who tremble pathetically.

In the operating room of the castle in the sky, I was holding my arms together and staring at the screen.

Something went wrong.

Those words come to mind.

"... Dear Tyki"

I nod silently at Eira's voice, who seems worried. Then Maire leans her neck this time as she brings her tea.

"Didn't you help a slave who was being treated badly?

I shake my head to the left and right to answer Maire, who asks me that with a strange face.

"Trouble is, that seems to be the standard treatment of slaves in the Kingdom of Karluk. So I guess this means I robbed a slave, which is also the property of the Baron's family in the Kingdom of Karluk."

Answer that, Maire hoists her eyebrows.

"... but Master Tyki helped slaves"

"It's a good thing from the slaves, but not from the Baron's"

I tell him that in a bitter laugh, but Maire wasn't convinced, apparently. I'm swelling my cheeks and staring at the screen.

and Yuri, who had previously been static there, opened her mouth with her eyebrows in the letter (c).

"The momentum of Lord Taiki's shop will already be known. If the wary opponent made a mistake..."

"Well, it's a good chance to regulate business, isn't it? I can't even complain that this one doesn't have a big name. No, trouble, trouble."

If you grumble like that in a sigh, Aifa turns this one around with an extremely serious face.

"I will get into the Baron's house and negotiate before they investigate. It was the Baron family that broke the contract of the finest slaves first. So this one won't be complained about unilaterally."

"Well, it was the Baron's house that broke the slave covenant, an arrangement with the Kingdom of Karluk, I can't say anything because I'm breaking my promise not to plunder the Kingdom's slaves..."

It is a unilateral breach of this agreement from the Kingdom of Karluk. For the Baron's family, it's time to start with the discussion.

No matter how many barons break the covenant of the finest slaves, it is too much to take them to other slaves on their own. From other countries it would be seen with eyes such as tyranny in the sky country.

But negotiating directly with the Baron family could be a good hand.

"... right. Well, I'm sorry, but can I ask Aifa and Yuri, too? Negotiate with the Baron family, please. But peacefully."

Saying so, Aifa and Yuri nodded.
