Heavenly Castle

Grey's Grid

Neither the baron nor the armored man spoke out at all, but the rumor that the Baron family had been taken over by the finest slaves instantly spread because of Tyki's robot's descent into the king's capital.

It reached the ears of the Grays who were working to free the slaves, and discussions took place within the organization.

A dim room. The lights only have two alcohol lamps, and the faces of those sitting in the chairs are not very clear.

In that, one opens his mouth against Gray.

"Really, can the store be trusted? After all, are slaves slaves?

The others raise their voices to that question.

"That's right. Our ultimate goal was to free the slaves."

"The shop is run by a royal nobleman we hate."

Grey exhales shallow as he hears his anger seep.

"... I don't know either. But that store doesn't look like the others. I actually went to the store and saw how it was... but it was nothing like the slave traders' stores I knew. The amazing thing is that when the slaves sold in that store don't get the least of their lives, the golems waiting in the store are on their way to recapture them."

"Stupid."

"There's no way I can do that. You don't know what kind of situation slaves are in, and even if you do, only nobles should be able to buy that unusually high slave."

I hear blurring and denial from around me in Gray's dialogue. But Gray shakes his head left and right.

"When I was there, it actually happened. A deafening sound sounded, and suddenly the golem flew away. I managed to go after him, but I lost him all over the city. Then I heard from witnesses that apparently they broke straight into the mansion of the aristocratic city and took away five slaves"

"You broke into a noble mansion...?

"I've heard that story, but I've also heard that it's a lie"

"There's talk with the rumors the Baron family has shed. Flying golems are witnessed by various people. There have been rumors that the Baron family is secretly connected to the kingdom of the sky, or that the Baron family is buying the wrath of the kingdom of the sky."

To what Gray told us, the others told us about the rumors they heard. In the meantime, suddenly the door to the room is knocked and a voice is heard from outside.

"Gray."

It was a woman's voice.

Hear that voice and everyone turns around the door.

"Caterina."

When Gray calls the name of the Lord of his voice and tells him to go inside, he opens the door and a golden-haired girl appears.

The eye shot straight through the eyes of the men indoors and finally stopped with Gray's face. It's a cold, emotionless eye. Others are breathlessly solidified by Katerina's waking beauty and her doll-like expression.

But Gray looks back at Caterina, not even in a particularly barometric wind.

"It was just fine. I want you to teach me how to think aristocracy."

So cut out, and when Gray told him about the Baron's house, Katerina gave him a slight glimpse of her gaze and thought.

And open your mouth.

"... I want to solve things without rubbing with the slave store because I don't want my country's king and his slave store to be blind to me. But I don't want to discredit the house or its reputation. But if there's not a story from the slave shop side about the Baron's good reputation or something, maybe the Baron's is the only one running. Completely, the slave shop side is superior."

Everyone blinked at Katerina, who affirmed rather than predicted, and Gray raised the edge of her mouth.

"I see. You're probably right about that thought to see the clerk react to seeing the slaves back in the store. Regardless of the slave, the clerk seemed to learn everyone's anger at the Baron's house, but he didn't feel any fear. Normally, noble revenge is more terrible than anything else."

Hearing Katerina and Gray speculate, the others nod at each other with admiration.

And, Gray turned around Katerina and opened her mouth.

"Speaking of which, did you come on any errands? It's rare for Caterina to show her face."

Speaking so, Katerina pulls her jaw without expression.

"A golem flying in the sky is making a scene when it comes down to the entrance. Those who can fight are surrounded by the Golem, so I came to get Gray."

"Hey, what!?

In the words of Katerina, those who were indoors rose up in haste, and rushed out to those who said that the golem had appeared.

"Ha, say it quickly!

Tell Caterina that's all, and Gray will be right behind the room.

Caterina, who followed the hindsight with her eyes, sighed with a cold look.

"Slave dealerships in other countries...... that they are cooperative with the Kingdom of Karluk if they are to be sold within the territory of the Kingdom. And if you want to sell luxury slaves, the Greys after the nobles who are the sellers..."

Katerina shrugged so without telling anyone, dropping her gaze and exhaling her thin breath.

"There's no room for negotiation."
