Heavenly Curse

Chapter 3: The Corpse Becomes a Spirit

“Ding Ling Ling! ”

The bell at the entrance of the temple suddenly rang, giving Maki a shock, his hand holding the ax couldn't help but tighten a few points, even he could feel his hands cold and sweaty.

The bell rang just a second and it stopped ringing. Maki couldn't help wondering if the wind was blowing.

Just as he was about to get up and take a look, a giant smashed in from the outside and landed heavily on the ground.

Maki Ding's eyes glanced at the idol that he hadn't easily dragged out during the day, but he didn't want to be the brick of the doorstep.

It was just too late to regret it because a dark shadow followed it into the hall.

Maki pulled the first organ that was already ready without even thinking about it.

Ka-cha! ”

On the other side of the temple entrance, suddenly came a sound, like what collided with each other, a little stinging on this silent night, while also immediately attracting the attention of the shadow.

As the collision sounded, a glimpse of Mars flashed, then a shout, a brilliant flame rose out of the basin.

Then a fire snake spreads rapidly through the hall, and every time a fire snake passes a turn, a large candle lights.

While the shadow was being sucked away by the fire basin, Makita jumped out of the shadow with an axe in her arms and cut it down against the shadow.

“Pfft!”

The axe fell directly into the shadow's shoulder. In fact, Maki had originally chopped it off with his head, but he didn't expect the shadow's head to miss at a critical moment.

The axe fell, without the feeling of cutting into the body, it was like chopping a piece of wood.

When the shadow waved back, Maki felt a tremendous force coming, the axe handle immediately broke off, and he stood back a few steps, almost falling to the ground.

The snake lit half the candle at this time, but it was enough to light up the hall.

“Old man? ”

Despite long speculations, when Makita could see the shadow's face clearly, she could not help but lose her voice.

At this moment, the old-fashioned face presents a metallic black color, the eyes are only white, the mouth is much bigger, the teeth are exposed, it looks a little stiff.

The axe was cut on his shoulder before, but no blood was shed.

“A corpse? ”

This was Maki's first reaction after he saw the old way, he had heard about it before, but only listened to it as a story, and he never believed that there were any corpses, or zombies.

But all of this right now, nothing less than telling Maki that those stories are true.

According to the old ways, however, the conditions for the formation of a corpse are extremely harsh, first with a grudge and then buried in a very shady place, which will take at least a month or two to produce.

And just after the corpse was changed, it wasn't too powerful, at best it was a little better than ordinary people.

But now, Old Dao is a bit strange, even he remembers that when Old Dao died, he died with a smile, how could he have a grudge.

It's just not useful to talk about this now. From the eyes of Old Dao without a hint of emotion, Mu Yi knows that 'Old Dao’ is no longer the old Dao.

He quickly retreated to the center of the hall, so small that the fire snake finally burned out and all the candles were lit.

‘Old Dao' looked back at Maki, saw Maki want to escape, and immediately chased him.

Maki jumps right back and pulls the rope over her head.

After a moment, the black cloth that blocked the mirror was unraveled, and the seven light columns converged and fell on the 'Old Road’.

“Roar!”

‘Old Dao' trembled violently, and suddenly a black smoke appeared on his body, howling in his mouth.

At this point, Maki suddenly pulled out a bottle and hit ‘Old Dao' hard.

The bottle was broken and spilled with black dog blood.

“Chi chi! ”

Black dog blood didn't disappoint the herd, but it just caused some trouble for the 'old ways'.

Immediately afterwards, Mamei pulled out of her pockets on both sides and was already ready to exorcise and chop demon charms. She said nagging in her mouth for a moment and threw them towards‘ Old Way ’.

But this time, his technique didn't work, and two flights of fluttering flutter fell on the ground.

And Old Dao has also left the spotlight copper mirror illuminated and continues to kill towards him.

Mu Yi panicked, no matter how calm he had behaved before, he could not change the fact that he was only fourteen years old. It was good to be able to do this now.

This is still because he is familiar with the old ways, even if the 'old ways' have become corpses, they are more shocked than afraid.

In panic, Maki finally didn't forget the peachwood sword in his waist. He almost instinctively grabbed the peachwood sword and stabbed it towards the ‘old way’.

"Old Dao" didn't hide and let Maki stab him right in the face.

At the end of the day, the peachwood sword bought at a large price did not disappoint Pastor. The one-foot-long peachwood sword directly stabbed half the way in, and the action of the old road immediately became stiff, allowing Pastor Pastor to escape.

Maki did not retreat, because the means he had prepared were almost exhausted, and there was no way to retreat, rather he tried to die.

He madly pulled those figurines out of his pockets and put all of his brains on "Old Way".

But these carefully prepared tokens didn't do anything, not even as good as just the black dog blood vessels.

Though ‘Old Road' was slow, Mu Yi had also forgotten to hide and let ‘Old Road' dig his hand with sharp nails towards his heart.

Just when Maki thought he was going to die, his chest suddenly burst out a pale white light, then a pain, then his body flied out and hit a pillar behind him.

Maki finally saw an image of 'Old Dao' staying there with his right hand holding out the movement. Even he hid an extra tint of color in the eyes of the old ways.

Then Maki passed out again.

The next day, Makita woke up touching her head and there was nothing left in the palace but a mess. The 'old ways' had disappeared and he was not dead.

On two consecutive occasions, he was only knocked out, and Mu Yi did not know whether ‘Old Dao’ had intentionally spared him or for other reasons.

He had no idea what had happened since his coma.

But when he woke up, Maki arrived at the back of the temple in the first place, and the tomb of Lao Dao was completely torn open, and the coffin in the great pit was opened, and there was no one inside, only one previously disappeared statue head.

Mu Yi stood on the face of the pit a gloomy uncertainty, eventually he bit his teeth and jumped into the coffin, picking up the idol's head.

The head of the idol is very light, and the pasture breaks it apart with a little effort, and the hard wood looks like it's weathered.

According to his observations, the previous statues were made entirely of a large piece of material, very heavy, and he had seen them before when he dragged them out of the hall, without even a little worm decay, not to mention the severity of the weather.

Since he couldn't figure it out, Maki didn't care anymore. After he threw the idol's head away, he slowly knelt down and punched the bottom of the coffin with his fingers.

“Boom!” “Boom!” “...” “Knock knock knock? ”
