Heavenly Harem: Raising My Disciple With Infinite Dual Cultivation

Chapter 215: CH. 215 | Artefact and Pill Tier-4

If everything followed the pattern of the mountain peaks, Lin Tian still had three more trials ahead of him, coming from the Artifact Hall, the Pill Refinement Hall, and the Hall of Techniques and Weapons.

That meant he’d have to face Yun Yun, Luo Mei, and An Yue.

But since An Yue’s role here was as his bride to be, Lin Tian figured someone else must have been chosen to stand in for her.

Wu Yue was already out in the front courtyard, and An Xiao had been stationed at the Sect Mission Hall.

That left Lin Tian fairly confident that whoever was waiting for him at the Tianxun Hall had to be Cao Ying.

That fight was going to be an exhausting one, since it would mean two Soul Formation cultivators going head to head.

"I need to keep my focus forward. Next up is Tiangong Peak!"

Lin Tian shot off quickly, cutting across the sky above Bagua Peak toward the next mountain. Ya Fei remained standing on her sword, watching him disappear into the distance.

A few of her disciples approached her, remarking that Lin Tian’s strength had gone far beyond anything they’d expected.

Ya Fei simply smiled. Beating him had always been an impossible task for them anyway.

Still, the formation battle had worked out in Ya Fei’s favor in one way, since it let her clearly see exactly where her disciples’ abilities stood and what they still needed to work on to improve.

"As punishment for your loss, all of you need to study one profound grade technique and try modifying it with your own creativity!"

"You’ve got one month!"

None of them felt discouraged or intimidated by that.

The formation battle against Lin Tian had opened their eyes to just how deep his knowledge of formations truly ran, and just how powerful it was.

They had no idea how long it would actually take them to reach a level anywhere close to his.

From where Lin Tian stood, he could see Tiangong Peak clearly ahead of him.

The peak was filled with artifacts and ancient traditional relics. There were no formations there, just an area guarded closely by a fairly powerful sword artifact.

"I actually felt a surge of qi energy coming from the direction of Bagua Peak just now. Looks like you managed to beat Ya Fei, Master Lin."

Lin Tian’s steps came to a stop as Yun Yun and her hall’s disciples arrived, carrying the artifacts they used.

Now the fight wasn’t between Lin Tian and a group of disciples, it was between Lin Tian and Yun Yun herself.

"They’ve made some real progress. I hope you don’t disappoint me, Yun Yun."

Yun Yun smiled with obvious pride, as if she’d already prepared something special to welcome Lin Tian’s arrival.

She raised her hand, and a golden emperor’s seal formed in the sky above, carrying a momentum powerful enough to rival an Earth grade technique.

An Emperor’s Seal? Where did she even get her hands on one of those?

"Well? Are you impressed?" Yun Yun asked.

"An Emperor’s Seal is an incredibly valuable artifact. You managed to refine it and raise its quality even further. That’s genuinely impressive."

"I can even sense that the power in this Emperor’s Seal artifact sits at least near the peak of Earth grade techniques."

"In that case, try stopping it, Master Lin!"

Without hesitating, Yun Yun sent her attack straight at Lin Tian.

He reacted immediately, spotting the massive golden emperor’s seal hurtling down toward him, carrying an immense surge of spiritual energy.

With a powerful hand seal, he thrust his hand forward and summoned a white dragon technique to try to hold back the emperor’s seal. But that alone wasn’t enough.

Yun Yun looked pleased, watching Lin Tian’s first attempt fail to stop her attack. Lin Tian didn’t back down, though.

He followed up with a thousand sword technique, trying to slow down the seal’s momentum.

The clash between the sword technique and the emperor’s seal erupted, sending out a massive surge of spiritual energy that shook the entire sect.

This time, though, Lin Tian didn’t lose ground.

The relentless barrage of a thousand swords finally managed to damage the emperor’s seal, cracking its surface and pushing it right to the edge of total collapse.

Before long, the seal shattered into small fragments, scattering and falling from the sky.

Yun Yun looked a little startled, quickly activating a restoration technique to recover her artifact.

Slowly, the shattered pieces of the emperor’s seal drifted back into Yun Yun’s hand, reforming into a complete seal once again.

The battle ended there, with Lin Tian coming out as the winner.

The hall’s disciples were impressed, praising Yun Yun’s skill for having forced Lin Tian to use two separate techniques just to bring down her artifact. Lin Tian, for his part, praised Yun Yun’s ability as well.

Her mastery over artifacts had clearly grown. She’d even managed to activate the restoration technique the instant her artifact was destroyed, letting it recover fully and remain usable going forward.

"Looks like you’ve picked up quite a few techniques on artifact refinement, Yun’er."

"Thank you, Master Lin. I didn’t want to waste my time, so I put everything I had into making the most of it."

"You’ve cleared my trial. Mei’er is waiting for you at Danxia Peak."

Lin Tian nodded and flew off past Tiangong Peak, spotting Danxia Peak in the distance, home to the Pill Refinement Hall.

Compared to the other halls, far more of the sect’s disciples were drawn to join the Pill Refinement Hall, especially the women.

They wanted a way to push through cultivation bottlenecks by relying on pills, which meant avoiding the painful backlash that came from breaking through the hard way.

Arriving at the front courtyard of Danxia Hall, Lin Tian noticed there was no one around at all, not Luo Mei, not any of her disciples.

But as he scanned the area, he caught sight of a massive surge of spiritual energy coming from somewhere else nearby.

As Lin Tian moved closer, he found Luo Mei standing at a large altar, surrounded by her disciples.

They were channeling their spiritual energy at full strength into a large cauldron set at the center. Luo Mei noticed Lin Tian’s arrival.

"What kind of pill are you making?" Lin Tian asked.

"A tier four pill. Your trial is simple, Master Lin."

"Help me with your primordial energy to stabilize the volatile energy swirling inside the cauldron. If you manage that, you pass."

Lin Tian looked ahead, peering into the cauldron through his cultivation sight. They were still in the early stages of refining the tier four pill.

Only with the help of a large surge of primordial energy from Lin Tian could they finish the refinement smoothly and produce a tier four pill, one that would prove incredibly valuable to them, especially as something they could study and learn from.

"All right," Lin Tian said. "I’ll help you refine the pill."
