Episode 79: Goblin Village
It's my first vacation in October. Allen has arrived at the foot of the White Dragon Mountains following a report from the Knight Commander the other day. Strictly speaking, this area is already at the foot of the mountains.
From this forest, the White Dragon Mountains begin, and as you walk for a few days, the slopes become steeper and the landscape changes to desolate mountains.
Goblin and oak villages are found throughout this part of the forest. The armored ant's nest lives a bit further down on the desolate mountain slopes, creating large holes.
We are going to defeat one goblin village today. Within a few days, the knights have chosen a goblin village that is likely to arrive. I do not intend to give my experience to the Knights.
For the time being, we plan to focus on the defeat of Goblin Village.
The boss, the head of Goblin Village, is a C-ranked beast called the Goblin King. Since it is C rank, I think I can beat it easily.
However, the boss, the mayor of Oak Village, is a B-ranked beast called Oak King. It is too early for Mardergarsh and the alleged Allen. At least they are going to try to defeat Goblin and gain experience before trying.
And the armored ant's nest is also quite tough. It seems that there are more than 1000 armor ants and their queens in the nest. The queen is a story called a B rank monster. You can get this hole by defeating the queen armor ants and sweeping them out. It is more difficult to get inside the hole and in a large number than in Oak Village.
However, defeating armor ant nests has significant benefits. The burrow of the giant is very large, and may even extend to the Mythril vein. Destroying the armor ants gives you access to a mound in a mountain range that humans can afford. In fact, there are now four mines, two of which are originally armor ant nests.
Allen was in front of a goblin village captured by a shared bird E summoner. Several summons of bird E swirl in the sky, and continue to observe the entire goblin village.
(Now I'll destroy every single one)
The goblin village was surrounded by fences. The rough fence has a gate, guarded by two goblins.
(Let's go! Bears!)
Four beast D summons go to the gate. Instantly kills two Goblins who notice the Summoned Beast. Almost already defeated by rank D demons.
Naturally, the enhancement and fish D's special skill "splash" are applied.
One of the goblins who noticed the anomaly rings the bell from the tower. Four summons enter the village with a blazing bell sound.
Goblins come out of the house made of rags and wooden sticks. Chew the approaching goblins with the special skill "chewing".
Then a goblin with a bow appears from the top of the fence or turret. It means trying to attack from a distance. The goblin attacking at such a long distance is sealed off with the special skill "Spider's thread" of the insect D summons. Debuff works well with goblin opponents.
(Long range attack is good. My summon has no long range attack at the moment. I want to get long range attack and range attack.)
On the turret, I envy long-range attacks while watching the goblin's bow, which is white with thread. I'm glad I got a summon that can buff, but long-range and ranged attacks greatly improve hunting efficiency.
Allen also enters the village. It looks like a village with 200 to 300 goblins. Allen enters through the gate and watches the battle between the summon beast and the goblin.
(Hmm, if you have so many, don't miss it)
This is the first time they have attacked Goblin Village. We've examined whether a shared summons squad alone could wipe out Goblin Village, but it seems impossible. If you have so many, you can miss about half. I want to defeat everything if possible.
I think about going to the goblin village when you can have any number of summons.
(Well, I'll knock you down. Bears come out.)
Six more beast D summons come out and join the four beast D summons that originally existed to defeat the goblins.
Goblins are being beaten at an overwhelming rate. Some goblins begin to withdraw from behind.
Then, another 10 beast D summons appear from the opposite side of the village entrance where Allen has entered.
He was waiting on the other side of the village, and when the bell rang, instructed him to enter the village. So the goblin bell did not stop.
Reduce the number by pinching and shooting.
Then, a particularly large goblin comes out. Unlike a 1.5 meter goblin, it is a 2 meter high goblin. Have a big battle ax.
(Oh! Goblin King!)
They are pushing away other goblins.
"Gugaaaaa! ! ! 』
Insect F summons also use their special abilities to defeat the beast D summon. Apparently there is no particular problem.
(After all, don't be caught hunting. Goblin King seems to be a C rank monster.)
Thousands of C-rank monsters have already been defeated. Goblin King seems to have no problem because it is the same C rank monster. Eventually the battle ax drops and falls.
"I have defeated one Goblin King. I have gained 4200 experience points. "
After defeating the Goblin King, defeat the remaining Goblins. It was wiped out by the summon of Beast D to surround it.
(If you beat it down, is it still inside the building?)
Enter the stinking goblin house. There seems to be nothing in particular.
(Two bears are following me, and the rest are collecting goblins in the center of the village.)
Instruct the goblin house while instructing the beast D summoner.
(Well, I wondered if a goblin would be scared, but that wasn't the case. I just attacked like a crazy dog.)
I thought there would be an immature goblin in Goblin village, and what if I had a scared child goblin. In fact, both small and old goblins attacked like crazy dogs, so they were defeated like any other goblin. Goblins seem only to kill when they see humans.
Thinking like that, I frown in one building.
It was a human corpse taken away somewhere. There are many, almost no one is skeletal or alive.
(After all, it must be destroyed)
Goblins are a valuable experience. If you were a gamer, you might have felt that goblin numbers would be reduced and inevitable. However, leaving the goblin village with that idea only adds to the cost. Goblin village is going to be destroyed again.
Ask the summons of human corpses and collect them in the center of the village.
Allen retrieves the magic stone from the goblin. D rank magic stones have a valuable use, such as the special ability of the grass summon beast, "Magic Fruit". Collect all. Also collects Goblin King C rank magic stones.
It took about 2 hours to collect everything.
(Bears, bring home building materials)
While walking with the boar, the beast D summons bring the pillars used in the house or the pieces of cloth. Instruct the goblin to be placed on top of the mountain.
Once the building materials have been placed on the goblin corpse, remove the torches from the storage. This torch is still on fire. It can also store fired items.
Ignite the building materials on top of the goblin corpse with a torch. A large fire pillar gradually rises. A few days later, the knights may arrive in a village where rotten goblins are scattered, which may cause infection. It burns in one place.
(Now what about the abducted humans? You can cremate and bury them, but there might be another way of ordering the knights. Let's order them neatly.)
I thought I couldn't help doing too much extra work and bothering me.
(Now, goblin village seems to be able to afford, so it is finally destroyed. Then we will go to Oak village.)
I realized that the annihilation of Goblin Village was no problem. At the foot of the still-long White Dragon Mountains, the goblin village has begun to be cleared.
