Episode 188: Lapolka Fortress Attack ③
Allen tells Elf's general, "Thank you for the battle here," and returns to the mountain path he came with his friends.
(Well, it's been a whole day since the march. You've started to move well north and south of Fortress Lapolca)
The Summoner of Bird E gives us a better idea of the situation around us than ever before.
First, there are all sorts of warcraft coming out of the city south of Fortress Lapolka, but deliberately abandoned and occupied by the Demon King's Army, and they are becoming lumps. This will surely be to use the outer walls of the fortress to sandwich the elf armies attacking from the south from the rear.
And north of the fortress, the Warcraft, who was within range to gather during the day, has already entered the fortress. On top of that, an even wider range of warcraft is coming together.
The north and south are likely to reach the Fortress of La Polca in a few days.
(You're still acting fast. But the Demons need to come out on the front line)
The Summoner of Spirit B is still lurking in a large building within the Fortress of Lapolka, but there is still no conversation or atmosphere in which the three Demons are likely to come forward.
"The Demon King's Army is still moving fast. So far, it's falling within my expectations."
"Yeah, all right."
While walking down the mountain path, Allen informs his people of the situation.
(Oh, there it is. I'm back pretty good, but just the other way around, okay?
"Cecil, Formar is on guard around you. Beat me down when the eyeball bat comes out."
"Okay."
"Okay."
(All right, it's Mogske. Your turn!
Allen gives out a beast f summons with the appearance of a mole about the size of a medium-sized dog.
I can't speak the language, but I think I'm somewhere happy that the role is here.
"Let this kid dig. But, Allen, the ground here is hard, right?
My people are told that they will dig holes from the ground to create passages and attack Fortress Lapolka.
To the elves, if the information leaked, the operation would be attributed to nothing, so he kept quiet until critical.
(Is the ground hard?)
This mountain has little soil or leafy soil, and the mountain skin is rocky and very hard. Clena questions how hard and holes can be dug.
"Mogske, dig the hole"
……
The Summoner of Beast F sees Allen for a moment, but tries to dig up the bedrock near the designated large rock using the stunt "Dig the Hole". But I can't go galloping and dig it back.
Using the Awakening Skill "Living in a Hole" seems to be the same with the rock beds too solid.
"Look, I can't. Allen."
"Krena, this Mogske stunt is' Digging the Hole '. Nothing says anything about digging holes in dirt. Don't take it personally to narrow the effects of your skills."
"Huh?"
That said, Allen fortified the beast f summons. Strength is exerted on the large nails grown in the hands of the Beast F's Summoner with 1,000 more Attack. I started digging holes with great momentum with the gullibility. Repeatedly deleting and generating it, turning it into a cool-time one-day awakening skill, Living in a Hole, to accelerate the speed of hole digging.
"Wow."
"Don't think you can't do things that aren't written. And I can't do it forever."
"Yeah."
If Allen put it that far, Krena would have figured out what she was trying to say.
It doesn't say anywhere that activating Krena's extra skill "Limit Breach" is usually only an attack. That's just a story about yourself imposing restrictions.
"Well, I'll start by doing what's written."
Dogola shrugged as she followed behind the hole, the only one at the party who had not been able to use extra skills.
"Right. The first step is to get to know 'Reason'. And then it's important to ask for 'stretch out'."
"Reason and Stretch"
Allen has been telling everyone about her skills, levels and status when she was in school.
Because knowing them makes them the most efficient and powerful.
But growth stops there if it stands to reason. It's always important to seek out stretches that aren't written in the rules. I even doubted the rules. There are growth stretches ahead.
"Dogola. This is what I'm capable of. It's about letting Mogske dig a hole. First, you need to know what you're capable of."
"My ability."
With that said, Dogola stares at Allen's back making him dig the hole forward.
Afterwards, we let the summoner of Beast F dig deeper and deeper into the hole, and sometimes let the summoner of Fish B check the position, while digging further to the destination position. In today's battle, I also found out where the Warcraft gather in the fortress. I learned about the formation of the Demon King's Army during the offensive war, so I also have an idea where to go out of the fortress.
Then, dig enough holes and stop them where they say they'll penetrate the fortress in a few moments.
The rest is tomorrow, when we challenge the showdown.
That's what you do, you hear the big army walking. It's almost sundown evening, so both armies seem to have finished the battle today.
Allen and the others gathered the generals after the sun went down. Put up a curtain and catch fire.
As everyone stares at Fortress Rapolka and the simple model that suppresses it to the north and south, Allen tells a story about the Rapolka offensive.
"I see, was that the kind of operation? I didn't know you were going to drop Fortress Rapolka in two days."
"Yes, General Lucidral. It was unknown, including the fact that the operation could be completed, but today we have a vision."
While the Demon King's Army was moving very fast, this time he kept his mouth shut so that the whole operation wouldn't leak.
The generals also know that they will not communicate the operation until critical. And I also suspect that Sophie, the princess, has some maneuver passed on.
Both the Queen and the generals moved 50,000 troops without being forced to hear the full operation, if it was an operation that Sophie would not oppose.
"If this operation fails, Rosenheim's future may come to an end."
"That's right. So I'd like the final decision to be made by the General."
"Uno."
Coming to the forefront from the city of Nest, Lucidolar was the chief commander of the northernmost fortress.
It was down to the city of Nest because of its defeat and its own non-combatant injuries.
I have fully healed with the grace of heaven, so I have returned to the front line.
"And I'll also tell you about the north-south movement of Fortress Lapolca"
Confirming the move through the evening, in less than three days, reinforcements will come from the north to the fortress and from the south to the interdiction of the demon king's army.
It's a tough fight.
"This war was tough from the start. But as far as I'm concerned, I think it's something I should not be able to do."
There are also ways to fight the Demon King Army in a long battle while cutting the number of Warcraft with a positive attack as it is.
As for the pinching from the Demon King Army from the south, you can fight while protecting it if you return to the mountain path. It is also a situation where reinforcements from the city of Tiamo can still be put out.
But in the long run, we can't fight 4 million reserves.
(I never saw you move four million Warcraft in reserve at once. Do you want Rosenheim so bad?)
The Demon King's Army was able to use and sense the summons of Spirit B waiting for Fortress Rapolka to attack the city of Nest with three million troops by land from the north and a million by sea from the south.
There is not that much time left for the Lapolka Fortress offense. The Demon King Army also collects a little more Warcraft from the neighborhood, no matter what, because it's a winnable situation if you buy time.
I've already shared this movement with the generals.
"Ha, this is just a totally packed situation. But he said there was no choice. Lord Allen."
"Yes."
"Let us obey Lord Allen's operation. Tomorrow we drop the Rapolka Fortress."
"Thank you. Now I'll tell you more about the operation. Firstly, the placement and infiltration route of the Demon King's Army…"
With Allen and his generals, the operation was coordinated late at night. The characteristics and strengths and weaknesses of Elf's troops are better known to the General.
And it was the next morning.
(Hmm. Did I just say 10,000 Warcraft I could defeat)
Waking up, Allen confirms the effects of the night raid by the Summoner, which he did for the second day in a row.
The same is true during the operation with the General, but he has been summoning summoners and attacking fortresses.
We're sending reinforcements according to the damage while we're awake, but if they do it while we're asleep, it stays diminished.
When I'm in charge, the soldiers who woke up quite a bit earlier than Allen are already starting to line up.
"Goodbye, Lord Allen."
One of the generals greets me.
"Nice to meet you. Let's leave on time."
"Aye, okay."
The general says he wants you to get ready slowly. I'm going to know that Allen is even shredding his sleep and fighting for Rosenheim. Never rush.
Finish your breakfast talking about your last collaboration with your friends.
(Is this the position of the sun?)
Check the position of the sun and check the exact time with the magic conductor.
"Then today is the day to reclaim Fortress Lapolka!!!
"" "Ooh!
Tens of thousands of troops start leaving at the same time as yesterday.
But about 5,000 elves remain on standby at the starting point.
The commander is organizing the line.
They are a separate team acting with Allen.
It was thus entering the second day of the Rapolka Fortress attack.
