Helping with Adventurer Party Management

Episode 187: The Church's Tombstone

"I need to talk to you a little bit."

To some extent, I bring the story to the priest of the Church where it is done.

After correcting what the priest is reporting to the Church, he also wants the Adventurer's Guild to share.

The purpose seems to have been understood when the format was explained, so the rest is to ask questions about the procedures within the church.

"Right. Ultimately, you'll need to get permission from Priest Nicolo. The information obtained by the Church is the property of the Church. So we offer it, so you won't be able to admit that the church doesn't have any benefit either."

I snort. Information is worth it. Not to mention, that information was not obtained free of charge either. Naturally.

"How much will it cost? How much effort do you put into preparing your report?"

This, in short, hears the cost of the difficulty of preparing a report.

The preliminary negotiations on how much price to put on the report.

The Church puts a high price on the basis of the benefits it derives from sharing the report.

I put a low value on it based on the cost of producing a report.

That's what it is.

"Basically, the report lists the names of the adventurers treated, the injuries, the type and number of catalysts used, and the adventurers' rewards."

With that said, the priest showed me the report.

It is parchment but draws lines, and the numbers are listed in its table.

I've seen this format before.

"It's a format that's become popular in the center lately. It's very convenient."

That's what I said, and the priest taught me with a proud smile.

"Oh, really, ha..."

And I responded with a bitter laugh.

Nicolo, the priest, just fine. Not that the human intelligence in this world is low, so I thought any day would be popular, but it moves fast nonetheless.

Receive it and add a few columns to the table.

"This is how it is. I'm going to line up the injury factors vertically, so I'd like you to check them out there."

"I see, this doesn't make a difference to the time it takes. Then it won't be that much effort, as it's just the hassle of copying the report."

The priest is on the scene and is not in a position to actually coordinate interests between organizations, so he says whee this one wants words.

A little backward on the honest priestly attitude, but I shall remember the words thankfully for when I became the wingman to negotiate with Priest Nicolo.

"And I'd like to give you a tour of the cemetery for adventurers, if you don't mind..."

The priest accepted with pleasure when he offered.

◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇

The joint cemetery for adventurers was set up in the corner of the church grounds, taking a larger space than you might think.

The horizontal width is about as large as the big man spread his hands, and the height is about the height of a man's hips, built like a stone tablet.

I have seen this wall-like tombstone when I went on a trip to America.

It's a stone tablet to mourn the dead.

The tombstone is black stone with a beautifully polished surface, and the tombstone is carved with the words "those who explore the world, sleep here". It also bears the name of an adventurer who died in even smaller letters.

A few small bouquets of flowers are placed in front of the tombstone as to who put them.

I don't think I can think of any Musai like the adventurer, so I wonder if a woman close to the deceased adventurer is holding the deceased.

The tombstone of the adventurer was showing a quiet standing in the gentle afternoon sunlight.
