Helping with Adventurer Party Management

Episode 231: Sharing the Sense of Crisis and the Future Statue

For a while the craftsmen were stunned, but eventually one of them raised his voice.

"Oh, is it okay for you to wear the shoes we made? The..."

And, in the wake of clouding the words, another craftsman takes over the aftermath and continues.

"Well... we're still immature as craftsmen, and it doesn't seem good to the parents of other workshops or anything..."

And while I was concerned about my position in the city's workshop, I seemed to be able to share a sense of crisis.

But it's still sweet. I would have trouble if I did not have just a little more knowledge of the nature of the crisis.

"Oh. Right. All the workshops in the city will be questionable knowing the name of the company. And you'll wonder what you can do in such a pop out workshop, you don't like it,"

First, affirm the other person's concerns. That's how you create an attitude of asking for additional information.

"Besides, the parents of traditional workshops in other cities who have worked on the Cardinals' costumes will also think they don't like the company (of which)"

Hearing the words, the craftsmen give their faces as if they were gnawed.

"And the great aristocrats and the great merchants who have managed to connect with the Cardinal may also interfere with the company (of which) because they don't like it"

jamming, one of the craftsmen who responded to the word, has asked the question.

"Me, obstruction...? Like not selling materials? Don't you buy shoes or something?

"It's not like that"

Denying his opinion in a nutshell, the craftsmen showed relief.

But with my continued explanation, their complexion, even white, blued even further.

"Obstructive work means trying to kill me, acquire everyone and make them steal my shoes. That's what the nobles don't like."

"Wouldn't it be nice, like, to make shoes for the Cardinal? Why do you think that..."

And one of the craftsmen says.

From the artisans who are citizens of a good city, I am not willing to deny that reaction because they wonder why it is bad to make shoes for the venerable Cardinal.

But we have to get people to share a good sense of crisis here.

Anyway, the future of the business and my own life are at stake.

"Making the Cardinal's shoes is a great honor. Wouldn't you?

When I ask them that, the craftsmen nod in unison.

"Well in this city, it's almost the first feat in 100 years. And what do the people of the city think?

says one of the craftsmen.

"Guys, I want to buy company (our) shoes! You would say."

I nod as I look around at them all.

"That's right. Until the revelation of the Cardinal, it will be painful and dangerous. But I'll do everything I can to protect everyone and the company. And if you get over it, there's a big leap forward. Everyone in the city wants company shoes and the future awaits them to line up in the store. Please, I need your help for a while."

That's what I said and bowed my head.

Stirring up a sense of crisis alone wouldn't convince you without an explanation of why, and people won't follow you if you don't show a bright future statue.

Why, it's dangerous. What good can it be for me to overcome that danger? How long will the danger last?

Without special abilities or prominent force, I can only ask my surroundings for help in words.

Would everyone have understood? When I raised my head about time, I saw the craftsmen.

"Let's do it! I'm a little scared, but I'll do my best!

"Yes! It's a once in a lifetime honor to be able to make the Cardinal's shoes! Leave it to me!

Tears seeped into his eyes as he watched the faces of the artisans who answered orally.
