Helping with Adventurer Party Management

Episode 262: Distribution Trust

Checking the paperwork Sarah had recorded for me at the office that day also made noise outside the workshop.

Then one of them, who was helping the workshop, came to the office to call.

"Um, small captain, the abusive merchant is saying, let the small captain out,..."

A merchant who seems to be abusive, too much to know.

When Kilik gave him an escort and picked him up outside the workshop, he was pushed to stay at the entrance by the guard of the Sword Tooth Corps, and there was a man looking at each other.

I greet him with a deep sigh.

"This is this... We're out of time."

That's how I handled my posture low, but the anger on the other side seemed to increase the pressure even more by finding me.

"Whoa! I guess I'm making guardian shoes at your place! What do you mean, we're not shipping at all this past January!

After all, did it happen? And I'm feeling down.

Priest Nicolo asked me to deliver a large quantity of shoes for priests in two months, and I have responded by pointing at all of their productivity, so this past January has seen the production and shipment of any protective shoes for adventurers stop.

Though this was an unavoidable response, it is unforgivable from the intermediate merchants in charge of distribution, and the heavy pressure from customers with orders ahead, I guess.

I apologize for keeping my head down because this one is completely bad on this matter.

"Oh my God, I'm so sorry. I can just ship it from the end of next month. I will be putting in a bid for that again next week. Until then, could you please wait?"

But, naturally, the Intercity Merchant is not convinced. It's just that there's so much blood on your head that you can get in here. Words alone can't convince you. After a while, I may be hitting on this business and borrowing funds from somewhere to purchase it.

"Can you just convince me with those words!

And, their anger didn't heal, and by making a reservation for their next bid and promising them priority in doing so, they could finally hope to pick it up.

◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇

When I got back to the office, I was completely exhausted and I sat in my chair.

"Oh, come on... well, don't get angry"

Sarah, who made me tea, gently flushed it while agreeing.

"Right. But there's nothing you can do, is there? 'Cause you couldn't turn down the priest's order, could you?

"Sort of. I can't do that."

There can be no such thing as turning down the request of Priest Nicolo, a leading man under the Cardinal's umbrella on our scale.

It's just that that's something I don't know about depositing with adventurers who love to use their guardian shoes and with street merchants who buy them, and it doesn't matter.

In that sense, you could say that the company (of which) is about to lose a great deal of their trust.

Originally, the supply of shoes to adventurers who I wish to offer shoes to has been interrupted, swinging to the production of pioneer shoes, which should have been a subordinate product as an inexpensive version of them.

Markets and businesses are hard to come by.

Anyway, we have to think of some sort of measure.
