When trying to produce under certain conditions, a condition where production is restricted because of some factor is called a bottleneck.

Because the neck of the bottle is thinner, we use the analogy of the bottle's water not coming out at once.

Most importantly, glass bottles are not popular in this world in luxury products, so I have a hard time explaining them to Sarah because I can't find the right terminology.

"Um... maybe you can prepare silver coins, but you definitely can't have so many people who can write letters. What the hell, that vase has a thinner mouth?"

In the end, instead of a bottle, I analogized it with a vase for offering flowers that I had set aside when I went to a little luxury inn.

It's similar in shape, but because it wasn't an example of sticking to Sarah's life, it doesn't seem to settle into much memory.

Would this have been better compared to a leather bag or something to put water in?

Leather bags for water are made by processing sheep's stomach, so their mouths are narrower and functionally similar.

"Well, it's usual to have challenges. The story is the same as when we launched the department with the church emblem. When problems are difficult, think separately. One problem at a time is not one that cannot be solved."

"Think separately... for example?

"Right. First, think of the first 10 books and the remaining 1000. Even if I eventually have to have 1000 booklets available, I make about 10 physical copies to test first. We did that when we made the guardian's shoes, didn't we? Make a sample. There must be plenty to work out just the booklet. What kind of sentence should I put in, what the material is to be, and what size? And how do you make a profit"

"You're obsessed with profit."

"My job is just to make shoes. If the production of the booklet turns out to be a lucrative job, someone else might tell you to do it, right?

If you're in a lucrative job, you'll find a successor, and you won't find a successor in a nonlucrative job.

Both agriculture and the shortage of successors for SMEs have the same roots. It's a non-profitable job, so we can't find a successor.

Conversely, there are always people who think about taking over the job as long as they make money.

So creating a profitable structure for your business is the most important element.

"... right. So, what kind of booklet are you going to make? I don't think anyone, except Kenji, is thinking about what kind of booklet to make."

Sarah asks me the image of the final deliverable. However, even if we discuss the final form without a twist, we will try to explain the policy because we will not be able to proceed.

"Right. First, I want to make it a cheap booklet. I can't distribute 1,000 copies if it's not cheaper, because if I can lower the cost of making one copy of copper coin, 1000 copies of copper coin will go down."

"If you think about it, it's bigger than a piece of copper."

It is essential to make it cheaper because it is made in large quantities.

For dissemination purposes too, cheap first and foremost, is cited as the primary policy.

"Then I want to be able to make it fast. With the current quote, it takes too long to produce. And being able to make it fast means being able to make it cheap. Why is it costing people more to write than to pay for materials? Less writing makes it faster and cheaper. I think we should invest more in it than in cheaper materials."

"Why not? You'd be happier if the ingredients were cheaper, wouldn't you?

"Right. For example, there are ways to stop using parchment paper and use goblin skins if you just want to cheap ingredients."

"Eh! Oh, no. Disgusting."

"But it's cheap."

"Even if it's cheap. No!

"... and well, that's what they say. Even Sarah the Adventurer doesn't like it, so there's no way they can put it in church."

"The analogy is disgusting, but I know what you're trying to say"

No one will like crude products, even if they are happy with the low prices.

That's the thing.
