Helping with Adventurer Party Management

Episode 299: The reason for the escort

"That sounds quite pleasant to you, Jen. I knew the noble name Baron Bertoldo, but I didn't know he was one of them."

As he roughly cut out his request for an escort, Jilboa took it upon himself in an unexpected and upbeat mood.

If you ask me, I had a deal as one of the noblemen who bought me the material at a high price when I finished the Ariwinged Beast (Griffon) in the Swordtooth Corps.

If you ask me, I feel like there was a figure painting like that in the painting, like that atelier was loaded with winged beast-like feathers and materials.

"And a goblin crusade? I miss them so much. They're all big these days. Perhaps it would be just right for a bone break."

The Sword Tooth Corps is also growing steadily in numbers. Jilboa is no longer in a good position as long as he is only waving his sword, and may be under some stress.

"The last request was made on an expedition of the Aaron crusade. It's harder than the battle itself."

Wait a minute. What did you just say?

"Riu, did I say that?

"It's a dragon. I'm not an epic monster who flies through the sky and exhales flames. Tell you what, it's even a big lizard. It's about the size of a house, and the scales on its surface are hard on rocks. I had a hard time dropping my neck."

"I don't know, don't be shy..."

From the story, it must be Jilboa himself who dropped his neck.

Dropping a house size lizard neck or something, is this guy human?

Instead of pulling a step back and focusing on running the organization, they're still waving their swords on the front lines.

"In fact, the guardian's shoes are helping. It's still big to be able to stay on the rocks without slipping. Because it can be stomped, the number of injuries among the sword shield soldiers taking the attack has decreased considerably. As I said before, I invested in your shoes, and I had a good idea."

"Look."

"Yes, it is. According to that reckoning, Baron Bertoldo's case is going to be quite interesting. And the booklet that Kenji's trying to hand out."

I'm not going to question Jilboa's account, but it seems like a buyout for the booklet.

"The booklet I'm trying to make, one way or another, is for the rushing adventurers. I don't think it has much to do with a first-rate clan like the Swordtooth Corps."

So I denied it, but Jilboa laughed and said.

"Don't remind me of Kenji's story when he brought his guardian shoes. Even then, all you said was that you wanted to make shoes that you could buy with big copper coins for the runaway adventurer. Remember what I said then? What's happened since then? Which one of you was right, me or you?

When they say that, I just have to give back a bitter laugh, too.

Living on advice to a runaway adventurer, I happened to show my prototype guardian's shoes in the office of a requested swordtooth soldier and Zilboa pointed me to ignorance.

Even though there have been excessive twists and turns since then, the manufacture of shoes has risen as a business, and it is undeniable that Jilboa's back shield has been greatly helpful in managing to do so.

"Well, that's the thing. Shall I leave Baron Bertoldo's escort to the Sword Tooth Corps?"

That said, Jilboa laughed happily.
