Helping with Adventurer Party Management

Episode 314: The Big Merchant Jakob Question

Jakob is a great merchant who enters ten fingers in Count's territory.

A few generations ago, my ancestors increased their family production by expanding their business hands from wheat trading to booze sales, and for generations, they continued to defend themselves by continuing to run solid businesses.

Its qualities are also handed down to Jakob, and in addition to that, it is revered by the great merchants and nobles of the First Class District for their good manpower and certainty of counting.

Its solid giant merchant Jakob keeps twisting his neck.

"Father, what's wrong?"

Nazar, Jakob's eldest son, speaks out when he sees his father like that.

From Nazar's point of view, my father is not necessarily an instant summary executioner, but that is why there are grounds and logic for decisions and actions, and there are many understandable occasions for him to assist beside and aspire to the next generation of managers.

The father has been troubled for half an hour.

It wasn't like that.

"Um, this letter."

And, Jakob also shows his eldest son the parchment spread out on his desk.

Jakob is buying his oldest son's youth and creativity.

Because I thought that Nazar might be able to understand what I don't understand.

Peeping into the parchment with some tension, the eldest son felt uncomfortable finding the name he had learned there.

"You know, Dad, isn't it from my sister's husband, Swiberry? I don't know if you have a wine squeezer."

Last year, four younger sisters were married to Swivelry, the deputy head of the Swordtooth Corps, which is on sale in the city.

When I first heard from my father, I saw the triumph ceremony that would take place every time I accomplished a request in the square, and I immediately turned my opinion on what an adventurous sister's marriage was all about.

In front of the horrible monster's neck, in the evening, a group of swordtooth soldiers illuminated and aligned by bonfires had overwhelmed their surroundings with another height of discipline and alignment of gear from the Knights. That is definitely not a group of mercenaries, Nazar thought.

In particular, the charisma of the captain's man was unusual.

That man, be a hero. Nazar felt that way, and so did his father Jakob.

That's how Jakob, the great merchant, was to have an edge as a relative with a soldier of sword fangs.

So no wonder a letter of request comes from Swivelry to my father.

It has happened many times in the past, including requests for financial assistance and personnel secondments.

So Nazar lost his shoulder strength, but his father, Jakob, was not.

"That's right. But why do we need a wine squeezing apparatus?

"It's..."

As he tried to answer, Nazar was stuck in words.

"If you don't have a device on hand, I'd like you to introduce me to a merchant who sells you a device to squeeze seed oil," it says.

Oil merchant? Squeeze the seed oil? Why on earth? Nazar, increasingly confused.

"Well, doesn't it say why? and why we need it."

"He doesn't even know why. I'll make arrangements because it's my precious stepson's favor, but once and for all, what do you want me to use it for?

That being said, Jakob twisted his neck again, but in the end, the answer never returned to that question.
