Helping with Adventurer Party Management

Episode 348: Celebration

A few days later, during the day, Jilboa and I were to have lunch at the office.

They'll make arrangements around there so they can eat in the office.

On second thought, I often met Jilboa at work for tea, but I don't remember eating with him all over the city except for the camp.

"The captain eats dinner with non-members when he's in the city. Anyway, I'm a busy man."

That's what Kilik tells us about Jilboa's dietary situation.

"The captain looks good. I'm busy being called to gardening parties and banquets with noblemen and falling in love with the daughter of a great merchant."

Sometimes the deputy commander, Swiberry, has married the city's biggest merchant, and Gilboa has been targeted by the city's biggest merchants to become his son-in-law.

Jilboa does not hold the title, but in those aristocrats he combines facial decency, appearance, and besides arms and standing, fame. As a civilian, I also have a broken armed group called the Sword Tooth Army.

For large merchants with financial and power, the only anxiety is to be exposed to stronger power and irrational violence.

Nobles and churches try to take away the property they have built up for generations of their ancestors with difficulty, and hungry civilians may become thugs and raid them if it comes to starvation.

The force that Zilboa and the Sword Tooth Corps possess is this superior ally that guarantees their property and safety.

I just had one or two of my daughters daughter-in-law to tie the edge, someone I didn't spare at all.

Most of all, because it looks like it, "they're going to be more serious soon".

Because she doesn't have a title, she thinks that the city daughter might reach it in her own hands a little bit, so she puts it in. It's sinful.

and Kilik just talked about the Sanjilboa gossip, like he took it and put it on.

"Even the small captain didn't throw it away," he added.

"No, I don't like that kind of flattery," I have to laugh bitterly.

I don't want to compete with that guy by the looks of it.

"Right. You can't do it in Kenji," Sarah says, somewhat happily.

◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇

Jilboa was waiting for us at the office.

The usual reception room is cleaned up beautifully, tall chairs and tables are brought in, and vessels and dishes, cups, forks and knives for the number of people are arranged on a bright white tablecloth.

"Wow, nice!

and sarah says happily.

"What the hell?"

I'm confused.

"A friend of mine was born. It's a small congratulatory seat."

That being said, I will explain by referring to the fine looking dishes arranged on the table.

"They say this is porcelain made in famous workshops in the East. If it wasn't for these opportunities, these guys would just be dusty in the warehouse. Let the members (of us) use it and they'll break it right away."

Indeed, when you are in the position of Gilboa or so, you will receive deliveries and gifts from nobles and large merchants to a mountain or so.

This dish may also be one of those gifts.

At the feast the other day called by Priest Nicolo, the food was the sumptuous one, but nervous and I didn't know what it tasted like.

Sarah is happy, and let's just say she enjoys a small feast just for her friends.
