Helping with Adventurer Party Management

Episode 400: Who Repairs Shoes?

I need to talk to you about this.

No matter how important it is for employees to reduce their inventories, they can't understand how much inventory they have in a factory.

What happened to the person consulted?

We piled up the inventory at the entrance to the factory where the employees were coming to work.

You think the factory surplus stock has decreased dramatically since then?

It was a long time ago, and I just read it in a management book, too, so I don't remember.

It's just that much more convincing to humans with vision.

Normal workshops don't give people a tour of the workplace.

There is a skill in the workshop, and that's because artisans can tell from looking at jigs and tools.

In fact, not every workshop has that high technology.

Because if you had all that technology, you couldn't have a shoe factory in 3rd class neighborhood.

Mostly, it would be customary.

How would parents react when they saw the company's (our) workshop?

◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇

"I want you to take care of the guardian's shoes."

My parents looked surprised at the story I had.

Since shoes are expensive for ordinary people, repairing shoes or adjusting them to their feet is one of the pillars of revenue for the workshop.

Why, give it up? What kind of back is there?

"There's a reason for that as a business"

The guardian's shoes are heavily worn out because they are shoes made for the humans who make the battle and mobility a business: adventurers.

It is indispensable for shoe-damaging factors, such as deep mud, pointed rocks, monster fangs and weapons.

For once, I've also given you oil for care, but that won't keep you up.

The company also brings in one shoe after another to be repaired.

And the more shoe production, the more repair requests continue to increase.

How to handle the request.

It was time to set the course as a company.

"So the repair business doesn't just have to be monopolized by the company (of which), we want to ask you to do it extensively."

In contrast, the parents' attitudes parted in two ways.

"Let them repair shoes they haven't even made. You want us to follow you down there?

"I consider it a reciprocal deal more than paying consideration and asking for it. I don't like that view, though."

"Besides, in the first place, have you ever repaired a pair of guardian shoes?

When I asked, several parents turned away.

"What I propose is an ongoing contract. We're going to make lots and lots of shoes. Make shoes until you reach all adventurers. With more shoes, there should be more requests for repairs. If you partner, we'll train you to repair your guardian's shoes here. Materials will also be provided. We will also provide documents for control. I'll also teach you how to write."

Doubts were raised by another parent because the offer sounded too good a story.

"Hey, we don't really know. It sounds like a good story, and I think you're kind of fooled. I need time to talk to you."

"I see. Yes, it is. Talk to me carefully. I'll be waiting for a good reply."

◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇

From Gorgogo's point of view, he could have shocked his parents, but it was difficult to see if they were actually acting.

"Sooner or later, you might get on with the story, but your hips might be heavy. Old people are slow to make decisions."

"Don't bother with that. I want to rush this one as fast as I can."

The slower the shoe supply, the slower the shoe will go to the runaway adventurer.

"Hmm. But if you hurry, you might say no."

"That's the time. Until we take a different approach."

"What? It's hard to bring in as many craftsmen as you can fix, huh?

"No. At that time, make the factory bigger. Mature jigs and processes so even amateurs can make more shoes. Make a lot of shoes to bake bread so you can buy your next shoe without having to repair it."

"It's not jujutsu. It's a dream story."

Gorgogo laughed at my idea.
