Helping with Adventurer Party Management

Episode 431: The Woman Standing at the Door

That's how I've been drinking at Affordable Lodging in the morning, and one woman came to visit me, pretentiously.

There's no way a woman is as robust as coming to an adventurer in the morning.

(Whore? I wonder...)

Sarah, glancing at the woman, wondered.

Sarah had never been to a whorehouse or anything, so from the conversation between fellow adventurers' men, I imagined an exposed outfit with an open chest and visible legs of legs when it came to dressing like a whore, but the woman in front of me looks slightly different.

Is there a cause for cloth-covered outfits to hide the body up to the collar and wrist?

The shades also look somewhat plain.

The woman turned to the master of the inn

"Is there someone named Kenji in this inn?" I asked.

When the innkeeper answered, "Hey," as he seemed troubled, the woman tried to leave with a sigh of relief.

"Wait a minute! I work with Kenji!

and Sarah was unwittingly calling it off.

I looked back and looked at this one. My eyes were tinted, and I felt like I could see something shaking behind it.

◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇

"So, to a guy named Kenji, where do I go to see him?

and the woman asked as she stood at the door.

Sarah gave him some speculation about Kenji's whereabouts.

"I guess it's hard right now. Because I'm running around. You may be in the Adventurer Guild, you may be in the Inn or you may be in the market"

In fact, Kenji is moving around from morning to evening.

Sarah is impressed to see that it is a rare and diligent type for adventurers.

She works when she asks for it, and then she drinks and rests in a daze.

That's what Sarah knows about the adventurer's life.

The woman who heard Sarah looked unsure what to do.

Indeed, it would be hesitant to go to the Adventurer Guild alone with a woman.

There will be too many people in the market to find, and I guess the information about the inn was mistaught from what I came to this inn.

"Why don't you just sit down?," Sarah noticed the tragedy of a table with a cup of nearly drinkable barley rolling in it.

From the woman's point of view, I would only look like a bad adventurer drinking in the morning at Cheap House.

I must also feel that the information I have just told you is not saying much to the pocket money, or that I have no choice but to ask because I suspect it is necessary.

Remaining standing at the door represents a woman's low level of trust and caution.

This shouldn't be. I feel like I can't be a woman.

"Hey, wait here for a second. Because I'm gonna wash my face a little! Uncle, bring the tea water to a boil! 'Cause I'll pay for two!

Sarah rushes to the back well and when she cleverly waters her head only from the bucket she draws, she washes her face vigorously with the rest of the water.

The coolness of the well water crisps Sarah's head, which was loose in alcohol, and even more so now sprouts vigilance and curiosity about the woman's identity.

(That woman... what is it about Kenji? I wouldn't say Kenji is a person, or a woman who had anything to do with it because it was someone else's way of calling me behaving. And you're not even tough from that outfit, are you? A client, perhaps? But you're not dressed as an adventurer)

While wiping her head and face with a dry cloth, Sarah's head was finally getting back to working as usual.
