Helping with Adventurer Party Management

Episode 434: Kenji's Consultation

"I wonder why I say things with momentum..."

After Laura left, Sarah had one, head at the inn table.

I can't think of a way to do this at all, although I could have promised with my chest outstretched that I would leave it to myself.

If you just want to write a letter, I'm sure Laura can write better.

For once, I've been able to practice myself and write down what I need, but I won't be able to use the aristocratic style of obnoxious salutations and modifiers.

The drunkenness was cold. I was going to, but didn't it subside with a cup of tea?

"Hmm... when in trouble"

◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇

"Well, I thought that would be..."

Kenji sat at the inn table, staring at Sarah's red-haired tweezers offered in front of him, blurry.

"Well, fine. Tell me a little more. If you're just asking, let's hear it. I don't know if I can do it, so I don't need the money yet"

"Really!? Kenji, you're such a good one!

Sarah began to talk about the circumstances Laura had heard when she jumped her head momentously that she was lowering.

"... that's why! You can't forgive me! The man!"

After explaining the approximate circumstances, Sarah felt perplexed when she saw Kenji's face with a smile on her face, just thinking that she would agree with her opinion exactly.

"Sarah, do you have Laura's contact information?

"Well, you'll see. You can tell by Laura from Shukan, West End, 2nd Avenue."

"You know that's a whorehouse, right?

Sarah answered Kenji's words blushing.

"I know about the whorehouse, too! You know... a guy can get in trouble sometimes if he doesn't go, right? Have you been to Kenji, too?

"I'm not saying there isn't, but... no, now my story is good. First, let's make sure of some. Is Laura's name in person? Did you go to the shrine and make sure?

Kenji felt signs that the topic was going in a different direction and rushed on to the next topic.

"Yeah, not yet. That's a whorehouse, isn't it? Seems like she wanted to hide her presence here, so if I did, it would be noticeable and unnatural?

"Right. Well, yeah. Then here's the thing: Did you hear the name of the nobleman of that king's capital?

"Well, I heard that. If you don't ask me, I can't tell you, can I? Oh, but I won't tell Kenji yet. I promised I wouldn't tell anyone."

"No, not that I want to know, but you'd need to find out if that nobleman's name was in person or if he was staying in this city? Do you have that handover?

"... not"

With a small voice, Sarah had to deny it.

He's a former peasant, and there can't be any kind of handout to his adventurer girlfriend that explores the circumstances of the aristocracy.

That's why I came to speak to Kenji, who seems to be the closest and most learned.

Kenji spoke to Sarah to be so kind as to say.

"Sarah, you're a good one. But this case is bad. After a moment, Laura's father may not be a nobleman, or even the other nobleman may know the facts and ignore them. Wouldn't it be too busy for a common man like us to go in there? Shouldn't we forget about this one?

To Kenji, Laura is just someone else she has never even met.

I was not willing to involve Sarah in a case that was likely to develop into an aristocratic home commotion if I did poorly.

But Sarah was stubborn.

"I heard from Laura, and I looked her in the eye and I knew! Damn it, that guy's not lying! Besides, my father wants to know his name!

"Well... well, don't tell me you know that kind of thing is between women"

Kenji noticed that Sarah didn't even move when she had this eye.

Even when we were partying, there were times when Sarah's inquisitiveness helped her.

Though it was an illogical consideration, Kenji was a faction that valued reality over reason, so he placed a certain trust in Sarah's judgment in that respect.

I have no doubt about Laura's request, but throwing Sarah out here and letting her run wild would be dangerous to reject.

Yes, Kenji judged, turning to Sarah once again.

"You have no choice. In the meantime, think about it on the line that this one will never take a risk."

"Right! That's Kenji! I'll do my best!

Sarah grinned with a full smile and held her fist small.
