Helping with Adventurer Party Management

Episode 448: Invitation to Expedition Briefing

Change the subject to get away from Jilboa's joking pursuit.

Because I was interested in what happened to your expedition with the Baron.

"By the way, how was this expedition? It must have been an example Baron's request, right? You think they'll capture the man-eating giant (Auga) alive? Did it work?

"It worked. Most of it made me struggle. The Baron says he wants to capture you unharmed. I had a hard time meeting my order. If you do it the way you always do, you'll kill him."

The usual state of affairs would mean a mass battle of swordtooth soldiers in formation.

Recently, I had the opportunity to take a closer look at the battle of a regiment of soldiers who had been involved in the deputy removal situation and had dealt with the hired, devoured adventurers and beggars.

It was a slight disadvantage in numbers, but just a touch of armor sleeve.

A few times, I just crossed a dried goat and kicked the other group.

Didn't the actual battle last a minute?

True, we fought at that rate, and say the cannibal giants (orgasms) will be halibut in no time.

"Then you still worked something out. What are you up to? You want it to be key-shaped so it doesn't fall out? Or a pit."

"What, you eat a lot. Are you interested?"

Jilboa asks in disdain.

"Well, it is."

Even though I'm retired, I'm a former adventurer.

I wasn't asked to crusade a big guy like a cannibal giant (orga) because the risk was calculated and avoiding nature (the guys), and I retired before my arm went up that far.

The Cannibal Giant (Auga) Crusade would be just a routine task for a first-rate clan like the Jilboas, but it's a symbol of danger and romance for ordinary people like me.

"Hmm. Do you, then, go along with the Baron's visit? A few days later, a debriefing session for this expedition will be held at the Baron's Atelier. Only the nobles will attend the meeting, but now that they are deputies, they will also be well qualified. I'll tell the Baron from here."

debriefing. In short, a hobby meeting or a gathering like an academy?

I imagined there would be something like that, but this would be the first time I've been called to participate.

It's just troublesome when you get an identity, but I'm happy to be able to participate in this kind of intellectual salon.

"By the way, are the two men sent from the regiment (of which) helpful?"

Two people from the Sword Tooth Corps have been traveling to the company (of which) as new officials.

It's about Rodolph, a former nobleman, and Luc, a former merchant.

"Of course, it's helping. I'm here today to talk to you about them."

"What, it wasn't just a wild horse"

"Sort of. Of course I would like to be on the same page for the Baron's debriefing. Jilboa may have received reports, but his predecessor made a lot of mistakes. I was the wingman of a private court in the church."

"Have you got wings to confront? Isn't that a mistake you made by putting it in a trap?

Jilboa's joke, thanks for poking at me.

"Don't say that. We have to fight or we have to win. Wouldn't you? It was a mistake to try to harass my successor in the first place and impose unscrupulous taxes on him. There was almost a starving death out of the peasants on the territory. If you want to assassinate me, you can overlook me, but I don't like people who abuse weak things."

"As always, your sense of justice is hard to turn around"

Gilboa laughed with her mouth open at me.
