Helping with Adventurer Party Management

Episode 457: Unveiling Box

A statue of the future brought about by the discovery of the Baron.

How to make that happen fastest.

Focus on your thoughts. I almost missed hearing the baron's words.

"Ladies and gentlemen, we have something special to reveal today"

and the baron declares it to be exasperating.

Things the Baron will unveil. That's all there is to it.

On the signal of Jilboa, a large, very large box placed on the trolley is carried raggedly by a few people.

It is a huge coffin-like substitute of about 1M high, about 2M wide and just over 3M long, reinforced by a thick wooden thick plate with a sturdy iron plate.

The front of that huge coffin is heavily cemented with several large locks and thick chains.

In front of the box, the baron gives a dramatic explanation.

He's pretty good at it.

"Well, here's the thing. We have had a lot of trouble bringing it this far. As you know, it would be against the city's laws to bring an array into the walls. We, even the noble ones, are the same. But we bring it to the Count with special permission, so it's not illegal. You can rest assured of that."

I don't know exactly how the Baron fitted the permit.

After a while, the contents of the coffin may be corpses, although they are produced in great detail.

Evidence of this is slightly drifting from the box, along with the smell of the beast, like a drug to the nose.

It's the first time I've come to this world to smell it, it's a chemical smell.

"Now let's say we reveal ourselves! This is the last specimen (sample) of the survey row, an individual of a cannibal giant!

On the baron's signal, the members who were hitting the coffin carriage make a rattling, rattling and metal noise, carefully removing the huge locks and chains.

As one person engages in the task of disarming, the rest of the crew are putting up weapons to watch how it goes.

That's odd. Excessive security to reveal the body.

I just thought the arming of the members was for the production of difficulties in the investigative line...

Or is this part of the performance as well?

My confusion elsewhere. Work goes well, and the huge coffin lid is carefully cheated.

"Oh! He's alive! This monster is alive!

When one of the spectators sees the monster peering through the gap in the box screams, the upset also spreads to the surrounding audience.

The hedgerows that were so close to surrounding the box spread wide apart to avoid it.

It opened just before, so I can see the contents too.

There was a monster's face.

Sure, you look too pale for a corpse.

No way, did you really bring a living monster into the walls?

"No, no, no, don't worry, ladies and gentlemen. That never hurts people. No, I can't."

The baron waves his arms to appeal for safety.

The audience, who stopped for the call, look at the baron's face simultaneously in search of explanation.

"It's not dead, but it's not even alive. That's the way it is."

In the Baron's commentary, the audience swallowed the words waiting for the continued words.
