Helping with Adventurer Party Management

Episode 515: Little Flames

When I return the new officials, Sarah and I will be alone.

Not nearly as late at night, but the workshop at night is a garan, but I miss it.

Until recently, you will feel more lonely with the recoil that was taking part in a banquet with a large number of humans.

Did you feel the same way, Sarah groans in a potpout.

"Somehow, you've been quiet"

"Oh."

For a little while, the natural silence falls.

"Tea, you'll make it."

Sarah rises off the couch and heads to the back of the kitchen.

The office has a small stove that I had made when I did the renovation work.

It is treasured because it also boils water as it takes a little warmth.

While Sarah draws water into the pan, keep the stove on fire with the firestone.

The little flaming lights peeking through the stove have the power to calm people down.

As the fire moves from a small spark to a larger firewood and watches the flame slowly grow, a pot with cotti and water is placed on top.

"This little firewood fireplace is handy, isn't it? Kenji ordered it, didn't he?

"Oh. It was a little expensive, but I'm glad you made it"

Around here, where fireplaces dominate, it seems unusual to have a mobile iron firewood stove, something that I had a hard time explaining the specifications in meetings with the blacksmiths I ordered.

In fact, it's just a box-shaped iron firewood stove with no weird philosophy whatsoever, but I guess even a blacksmith was confused because few houses have sparks just because a fireplace would be sufficient in a normal common house and convenient for places like the office.

There are policy reasons why iron stoves are not popular are taxed on non-indoor fireplace incineration in order to prevent fires throughout the city, and there are economic reasons why they are actually expensive because they are products that use plenty of iron.

But I like the iron firewood stove that I put in place over those little obstacles.

"Maybe it's time to brew."

Hot air rises from a tiny iron pan while somehow watching the flames in silence.

"Right. I'll take care of the herbs."

"Right. After drinking, this and this."

Sarah brings several small pots of ceramic arranged on the shelf and puts several herbs into the pan.

"More yet?

"Hmm... kind of. I'm trying a lot."

Surprisingly, not so much, Sarah has recently elaborated on herbal tea.

They're buying a lot of leaves because they can read the letters and they can still afford the money after sending them to hand.

"I'd really like to go pick it myself or raise it, but you don't have time"

From the pan on the stove comes a slightly refreshing scent.

"... time will do. Plus, you'll soon have a life where herbs can be raised."

Wearing two shoes, a shoe business and a deputy, is a burden to be honest with.

But if you work in the countryside as a deputy, you'll be allowed to have a small field of herbs in the hall.

"Right. But don't push it too hard."

The herbal tea Sarah brewed me had a complex flavour mixed with a little sweet aroma and a refreshing spice, but somehow I felt like I could wake up feeling good tomorrow morning.
