Helping with Adventurer Party Management

Episode 661: Dividing the Beans

"Arranging the beans to be seeded is not difficult in itself," says Paperino.

"If you request through the church, you will be accommodated from some territory"

"Indeed."

As a deputy, we have developed the territory of Priest Nicolo, and so far we are talking about a level of reconstruction, no matter how much we work on it.

It is gratifying that we can count on the support of the Church.

"When it comes to distributing specifics, you have a lot to think about."

If you're a deputy, it would be nice to just show the policy and leave the rest to it, but if you want to turn it around with just the number of people here, you need to squeeze your wits to the fullest.

"Bean quality, for example. I don't know, but I guess not all the sprinkled beans germinate, huh? Explain your purpose properly and emphasize that there is the patronage of the Nicolo priest, or he could send you scraps of broken beans or insect-eating beans"

I remember that wheat previously stored for delivery to the church in another village was not very distinguished.

"But I was asking for a tool to separate the wheat. Whoa. Is that how it works?"

I'm not as interested in management, but when it comes to technology, it's Gorgogo that makes my eyes shine.

If you ask me, I feel the same principle as the separation of wheat, the beans and the separation.

"Indeed, it may not be the same as separating the nuclei of the slime."

In the workshop cooperating in the shoe workshop, there was a process of classifying the nucleus of the drug-treated slime by size, and Gorgogo was also involved in the production of the equipment.

The equipment gives the impression that it is exaggerated, but the mechanism is that a few small holes have been emptied.

The size of the hole is gradually increased from a small one, and when the nucleus of the slime is rolled from the top of the ledge, it falls down in turn from the small nucleus and is taken into the lower cage.

The beans are not circular like the nucleus of the slime, so put them on tilted plates and drop them down. Along the way, lay on the bottom a plate with a small hole, or something like a cage knitted with a big eye, so that it falls from the small one down.

Does that leave the crumb beans falling first and the solid beans at the end?

"That sounds surprising."

If you want to classify wheat, the powder splashes, so it might be easier to make a tool to classify beans.

Just the right job for Gorgogo, who has been bored since he came to the realm.

"I'd like to use the power of the water wheel on the shaky part, but you can let me do it even though it's big there."

As a substitute for waterwheel power, the big called-out Kilik gave a fed up look.

"No, just a moment, please. Now that I'm listening, I'm telling you it's a lot easier to make."

Confirm Paperino's question to Gorgogo, who has spoken in haste.

"How long is it going to take?

Gorgogo made me carefully quote like a technician.

"Right. Two days for the prototype first. Five days if it's about to be used in the mansion. If it's like setting up a workshop, February, something like that. If you're thinking about making it, it'll take a while to determine the mechanism of shaking in a certain rhythm and the size of the bean hole you want to sort out. If it's small, humans can shake it, and the size of the beans can be found by trying some proper hand-knitted cages."

"That's fast."

Besides, I like the idea.

In the meantime, we will create a prototype that can confirm the principles, while looking for improvements, and produce equipment for industrial use.

Does it encourage the growth of Gorgogo with solid experience in shoe workshop jig manufacturing, improvement of printing machinery, and interaction with experts when planning a mill?

Gorgogo may be becoming a race of engineers who can acquire modern procedures and methodologies and consistently conceive everything from formulation to implementation, neither craftsmen who practice what is said, nor inventors who conceive individual technological elements.

Gorgogo, who has reached that point on his own, is more dangerous than me and others who are bottomed up with knowledge of another world, for lack of consciousness or self-weight.

How can I take this broken man so that he can protect and live from the interference of ecclesiastical power?

That, in a way, may have been more of a challenge than creating a living place for a rushing adventurer in this world.
