Helping with Adventurer Party Management

Episode 709: Question With Raiders

"I'm here!

Sarah, watching on the roof, raised her voice when the yang was about to lean as well.

The deputy mansion stands on a small high spot that can be seen from the entrance of the village to the point ahead, so it can be seen quite far from its roof.

"Which one?

That's what I kept to make sure, because there's no place on the roof for a lot of humans to just climb.

Besides, Sarah the archer has sharper eyesight than anyone here.

Wait for her decision.

"Hmm... which one? I know it's flickering."

Apparently the light of the weapon is reflecting. This eliminates the line of irrelevant merchants.

"So how many?

"Hey... about ten... twenty people?

A subtle number. It can be taken as a reinforcement to the Sword Tooth Corps, as well as a possible enemy raid.

If you are rapidly hiring mercenaries to attack before reinforcements arrive, 10 to 20 people is considered a standard number for a group of people.

"You're an enemy. Unfortunately."

But lightly, Kilik affirmed that he was the enemy.

"On what grounds?

"If you're a captain or deputy captain, I'll give you one fast legged one, first as a preaching order. We don't walk around in groups."

Behavior doesn't sound like a soldier's army of swordfangs. Therefore the group approaching with weapons is not the Sword Fang Soldiers. That is, they are enemies.

Clear logic. There is no gap in the objection.

"Kilik is the enemy," he says, "but how does it look?

"If you ask me, I might be walking in some kind of shitty way. The people at the captain's feel a little more crisp."

If so, it is a battle.

Everyone was in position, as planned.

Then for a while, he also closed the armored door of the only window that had been open, waiting even for his enemies.

Peeping through the gap at the enemy group, he walks up the main road to the small tall mansion in dough without taking formation.

"You're a lot less sophisticated."

"Well, I can't believe the guys hired to dispose of it with money. More than that. Look at that. One guy in shiny armor, right? That's the commander."

If you ask me, only one of the twenty or so municipally armed people wears misplaced sheet metal armor (plate mail) and a heavy helmet (full helm) that covers up to his face.

"You're wearing a lot of good armor. Then I can't help but stand out. First, it would be heavy to walk. Is that why the march was delayed?

"Maybe, but sheetmetal armor is so light when made by top craftsmen. Plus there's no crest on the top (circut) either. You must be hiding your identity for once with that. But that armor and the contents... it's going to be a good ransom."

Kilik, who nods his tongue, is going to look at it and not know which one is the raider and barbarian.

Here we are.

If you ask me, they're approaching the front gate where they're closed at some point.

Operation initiated.

"Wait for that group! Who are you people! What the hell is this for?

Nobody says anything about "who" to a group of people approaching the mansion of deputies with weapons, but that's a guy called form for once.

When I opened one of the stick-out windows and inquired, a man in sheet metal armor stepped forward.

Waiting to see what kind of excuse he was going to screw up, he said something delightful.

"We're chasing bandits who come and go in the vicinity! And I got word from a well-meaning villager that a bandit had escaped into this village! I want you to let me search the mansion!

Are you here to make up for the bona fide villagers, the bandits? Let the village infiltrate with scouts as bandits, I often say.

"Reinforcements are useless! A bandit already picked it up and buried it generously! I want you to leave the mansion as soon as possible!

The bandit was buried, I assure you, looks a little lost on the man in sheet metal armor.

Perhaps you want to see what happened to the coded parchment and the missing seal.

The obliteration of evidence, or the taking of printing technology?

I have two goals, and I may have lost my judgment.

When I suddenly started discussing something, I saw about three mercenaries break up from the group and head to church.

The dispersion of power is exactly as this one intended, but my spine gets a little chilly at turning peasants into reality.

It's okay. All they want is to dig back the bodies.

If the farmers from 100 people had farm tools, they wouldn't even be able to do so badly.

Tell yourself diligently.

As per the operation, no problem.

Still, my mouth dries.
