Chapter 155 : Out Of Control
Uriel’s expression darkened. For the first time since entering the cabin, there was genuine irritation in his eyes.
"You human worms..." His voice carried a quiet fury that made the air inside the cabin feel heavier.
"How dare you threaten an angel? You are maggots crawling through God’s creation, living only because Heaven permits it."
"You presume that a crude weapon in your hands places you above His servants?"
His eyes flicked briefly toward the Colt before returning to Sam. "You know nothing of the war being fought beyond your comprehension, yet you dare stand in my path."
Sam didn’t lower the Colt. "I’ve heard enough speeches from angels."
Uriel’s grip tightened around his angel blade. "You mistake patience for weakness. I offered you mercy because you are insignificant." His gaze shifted to the unconscious Henry.
"As for that creature... his existence is an affront to Heaven itself. A Nephilim has no place in God’s creation."
He raised the angel blade. "I will erase this abomination first. Then I will deal with the rest of you."
Sam’s finger slowly tightened around the trigger as the cabin fell into a suffocating silence.
Uriel burst forward in a flash of white light, his angel blade aimed directly at Henry’s chest.
Sam had been expecting it. The instant Uriel moved, he pulled the trigger.
The Colt thundered through the cabin. The enchanted bullet struck Uriel squarely in the back, tearing through his vessel’s chest.
Uriel’s body jerked violently — he staggered forward, his angel blade slipping from his grasp and clattering across the wooden floor.
For a brief moment, he simply stood there, staring down at the blood spreading across the front of his suit. Slowly, he turned his head toward Sam.
"You..." His voice trembled with fury. "You miserable maggots..." His grace flickered violently around him.
"How dare you raise your hand against an angel of the Lord..."
He coughed, blood spilling from his mouth. The light surrounding him became unstable, bursting from his eyes and wounds in brilliant white streams.
His legs gave out beneath him and he collapsed onto the cabin floor with a heavy thud.
The white light flashed one final time before fading into silence, burned angel wings scorched into the wood beneath him.
Sam kept the Colt trained on the fallen angel for several more seconds before slowly lowering it.
Anna stared at Uriel’s motionless body in stunned silence, her grip on the angel blade loosening as she struggled to process what had just happened.
Sam let out a long breath. "Well..." He rubbed the back of his neck, still staring at the body. "I think I just killed an angel."
The words sounded unreal even to him.

Outside the cabin, Dean cautiously made his way through the woods when a blinding white light suddenly appeared several feet in front of him.
He instinctively reached for his knife. When the light faded, Castiel stood silently before him.
"Castiel."
"Dean."
"What are you doing here?"
"I came to find Anna Milton."
Dean immediately became suspicious. "Why?"
"Anna Milton must die. She hears the voices of angels. She possesses knowledge that cannot be allowed to exist."
Dean shook his head. "No."
"There is another," Castiel continued in his calm, emotionless tone.
"What are you talking about?"
"Henry." Castiel paused briefly. "He is a Nephilim. A child born of angel and human blood. His existence violates Heaven’s order. He must also die."
Dean stepped closer until they were only a few feet apart. "He’s my cousin."
"He is a Nephilim."
"I don’t care what you call him."
Castiel remained silent for a moment. "I was sent to retrieve Anna. Another angel has already been dispatched."
His gaze shifted toward the direction of the cabin. "Uriel. He has been ordered to execute both Anna Milton and the Nephilim."
Dean’s expression immediately changed. Without another word, he shoved past Castiel and sprinted back toward the cabin.
The cabin door flew open as Dean rushed inside. He froze.
Uriel lay motionless on the wooden floor, angel blade beside his hand, burned wings scorched into the wood around him.
Dean looked at the body. Then at Sam. Then back at the body.
"Uh... Sammy..." He pointed at the dead angel. "You killed an angel?"
Sam exhaled heavily. "He was about to stab Henry. I didn’t have a choice."
Dean stared at Uriel for another moment before shaking his head. "I leave for five minutes..."
Sam ran a hand through his hair. "Dean... what do we do?"
"What else?" Dean walked over and slipped Henry’s arm over his shoulder. "We run."
Sam frowned. "What happened?"
"I ran into Castiel." Dean grunted as he lifted Henry’s weight. "Heaven knows what Henry is. They sent Uriel to kill him and Anna."
Sam glanced at Uriel’s body. "Looks like he was too late."
