Heretic Trainer: The Gym Is My Cultivation Method

Chapter 729: Garion Calls Out a God

Garion’s grin slowly returned, but this time there was something colder behind it. "Varkhazan, I’ll be honest. I was actually pretty glad when I realized something."

Varkhazan’s golden-red eyes narrowed faintly. "And what would that be?"

Garion leaned back in his chair again, looking completely relaxed despite the heavy atmosphere filling the hall. "That you were cautious enough to bring him here."

The hall went still.

Bruno’s expression immediately became extremely serious.

"Him?"

Garion continued, sounding almost approving. "Even though God Gym is still a relatively new faction, you didn’t underestimate us."

He casually gestured toward the Volcanion envoys. "You came with proper envoys, powerful ships, enough strength to maintain your clan’s reputation... and even brought along a hidden trump card just in case."

Garion’s smile widened slightly. "As expected of a top dragon clan."

He gave Varkhazan an approving look. "Proud as hell, but at least you’re not stupid."

Varkhazan’s expression finally changed.

It was subtle.

Barely noticeable.

Yet everyone powerful enough inside the hall immediately caught it.

The other Volcanion envoys also became strangely quiet, and the cold pressure they had released moments earlier faded into something far more guarded.

Varkhazan looked directly at Garion. "What exactly do you mean by that?"

Garion chuckled. "Come on. Don’t start acting clueless now."

Bruno, Paren, Rachel, Dahlia, and the others all shifted their attention toward Garion.

None of them knew what the hell he was talking about. Only Atlas remained unsurprised.

A similar thought passed through several minds.

"Just who is he talking about? What kind of person could make even Varkhazan react like this?"

Garion slowly turned his head toward the crimson-gold warships hovering outside [Divine Celestial Gym Island No.1].

His strange purple-black-white eyes seemed to deepen.

For a moment, it almost felt as though his gaze pierced directly through the walls of the main hall, crossed the island’s formations, passed through the defensive barriers surrounding the fleet, and landed on something hidden deep inside the leading vessel.

Garion casually called out. "Hey."

His voice was not particularly loud.

Yet the strange weight contained within it allowed everyone inside the hall to hear him clearly. "You hiding inside that ship."

Several Volcanion envoys stiffened.

Garion’s gaze remained fixed in that direction. "I’m pretty sure you can hear me, right?"

No one answered.

Even Varkhazan remained silent.

Garion waited for several seconds before his expression became slightly impatient. "Stop playing mysterious and come out already."

Silence.

One breath passed.

Then another.

Suddenly, laughter echoed from the direction of the leading crimson-gold warship. "Hahaha..."

The voice was not especially loud.

Yet the instant it appeared, the air inside the entire hall trembled. "To think a brat like you actually noticed me."

BOOOOM!

An invisible pressure descended.

Bruno’s entire body stiffened.

His Celestial Realm aura reacted instinctively, not with aggression, but with the natural caution of a weaker existence suddenly sensing something standing far above it.

Paren’s face immediately turned pale.

The newly formed [Inner World] inside him trembled violently, forcing him to circulate his energy just to remain composed.

Rachel’s expression changed as she instinctively straightened beside Garion.

Dahlia’s eyes sharpened, and every disaster hidden inside her silver-black aura seemed to awaken at once.

Arden, Mersha, Valtor, Seira, Raviel, and Aveline all reacted in their own ways, their bodies tensing beneath the crushing pressure.

Even Dravion and Varan became completely serious.

The entire [Divine Celestial Gym Island No.1] seemed to sink beneath the weight of that single presence.

Bruno’s pupils contracted.

There was no longer any doubt.

The being hidden aboard that ship was not merely another powerful Celestial Realm cultivator.

It was a God.

A genuine divine existence.

Garion, however, remained seated.

He looked toward the warship for another moment before his mouth slowly curved upward again. "Good."

Atlas floated beside his shoulder, his tiny face twitching as he looked at Garion.

[Why the hell do you sound happy?]

Garion’s unusual eyes shone with dangerous curiosity. "Because now..."

He leaned slightly forward. "The real guest finally showed up."

---

Space inside the main hall suddenly twisted.

There was no warning, no flash of teleportation, and barely any fluctuation of energy.

One moment, the center of the hall was empty.

The next, a man was standing there.

He appeared middle-aged, with crimson-black hair falling loosely around his face, golden-red eyes, and a pair of dark volcanic horns curving backward from his head.

His body was not particularly huge or overwhelmingly muscular, especially compared to some of the dragons Garion had already met.

Yet the pressure surrounding him made everyone feel as though an entire burning world had suddenly entered the room.

Crimson scales covered parts of his neck and hands, while a long dragon tail moved slowly behind him.

Every breath he took seemed to carry faint waves of ancient heat.

Bruno stiffened even further.

Paren’s already pale face lost another shade of color.

Rachel’s hands tightened slightly against the arms of her chair, her expression calm but clearly guarded.

Dahlia’s silver-black disaster aura stirred instinctively around her body, as if the disasters hidden within it had sensed an overwhelming threat.

Even so, she remained where she was. She did not make a move without Garion’s signal.

Garion simply looked at the newcomer for several seconds before his mouth curved upward. "So you’re the God from the Volcanion Dragon Clan, huh?"

The man’s golden-red eyes shifted toward him. "Indeed."

His voice was calm and deep, carrying a faint trace of amusement. "Although there is no need to exaggerate my status."

He casually placed one hand behind his back. "I am merely a lowly Low God."

The words sounded humble. The pressure filling the hall suggested anything but humility.

The dragon God’s presence grew subtly heavier, causing the surrounding space itself to become faintly distorted.

A small smile appeared on his face. "But even so..."

His golden-red eyes slowly swept across everyone in the hall. "I am still a God."

No one spoke.

The statement itself was simple, yet everyone present understood the weight behind those words.

Low God or not, he had already crossed the boundary separating ordinary cultivators from true divine existence.

The dragon God eventually returned his attention to Garion. "Yet even after realizing that I was here, you remain surprisingly calm."

His gaze sharpened slightly.

"Are you truly not afraid?"

Garion leaned comfortably back in his chair and crossed one leg over the other. "Yeah."

Atlas’s tiny face immediately twitched beside him.

[Garion.]

Garion ignored the warning completely.

Instead, he looked directly at the dragon God with the same relaxed expression he had shown since the beginning. "You came here as a guest, right?"

The dragon God’s golden-red eyes narrowed slightly.

For a moment, neither side said anything.

Garion’s smile gradually widened. "Then welcome to God Gym."

He gestured casually toward an empty seat. "Since you already came all this way, you might as well sit down."

His strange purple-black-white eyes remained fixed on the divine dragon. "We can talk properly."
