Heretic Trainer: The Gym Is My Cultivation Method

Chapter 735: Garion Enters the Higher Circle

Not long after, Garion and Volkrath returned to [Divine Celestial Gym Island No.1].

The moment the two of them stepped back into the main hall, everyone’s attention immediately locked onto them.

Volkrath looked perfectly calm, almost as though he had not just watched an entire Low Grade World get swallowed into nothingness right in front of him.

Garion, on the other hand, looked extremely satisfied with himself.

The projection screens gradually faded away behind them, leaving an awkward silence throughout the hall.

For several seconds, none of the Volcanion envoys spoke.

Their earlier pride had certainly not disappeared, but after what they had just witnessed, it had clearly been forced to sit down and shut the hell up for a while.

Garion turned toward Volkrath with a pleased expression. "Thanks for the world, Volkrath."

Varkhazan’s eyelid twitched.

An Intermediate Grade World was no small thing. Yet Garion accepted the reward as casually as though Volkrath had just handed him a free gym membership coupon.

Volkrath merely gave a faint smile. "A bet is a bet."

Garion nodded with satisfaction. "Good."

He thought for a moment before casually adding, "If you’ve got any people you want trained, just send them over."

The Volcanion envoys immediately looked toward Volkrath.

Volkrath’s golden-red eyes narrowed slightly. "You are offering to train members of the Volcanion Dragon Clan?"

Garion shrugged. "Why not?"

He spread one hand casually. "If you pay, you’re a customer. Dragon, human, elf, beast, weird floating rock race, whatever the hell you are."

Garion pointed toward himself. "If you want to become stronger, God Gym can train you."

Dahlia crossed her arms behind him and muttered, "As long as you survive."

Mersha quietly added, "And drink the supplements."

Several Volcanion envoys suddenly felt an inexplicable chill despite the volcanic blood flowing through their bodies.

Paren’s expression twitched. He knew exactly why.

Volkrath glanced between Dahlia and Mersha before letting out a quiet laugh. "Interesting."

His gaze returned to Garion. "Very well. I may send several juniors here in the future."

Garion’s eyes immediately brightened. "Good. Strong dragon customers sound useful."

Atlas floated beside him and immediately muttered,

[At least pretend you are not already calculating the profits and training results.]

Garion completely ignored him.

Volkrath watched the exchange with faint amusement before his expression gradually became more serious. "There is another matter."

Garion raised an eyebrow. "Oh?"

Volkrath lifted one finger. "One month from now, I wish to invite you to a meeting."

Bruno’s expression immediately changed.

Paren had no idea what Volkrath was referring to, but the moment he noticed Bruno’s reaction, his own expression became more cautious as well.

Garion noticed both of them but asked casually, "What kind of meeting?"

Volkrath’s golden-red eyes carried a deeper light. "An important one."

His voice became more serious. "It will involve several powerful forces, not merely the Volcanion Dragon Clan."

The atmosphere in the hall quieted again.

Rachel looked toward Garion with concern, while Raviel and Aveline both became noticeably more attentive.

Even Varkhazan and the other Volcanion envoys remained silent.

Volkrath continued, "You have already proven that God Gym is far from ordinary."

His gaze remained fixed on Garion. "More importantly, you have proven that your personal strength is enough to stand at a level where you cannot simply be ignored."

He paused briefly. "That means you are qualified to hear about what will be discussed there."

Garion rubbed his chin thoughtfully. An important meeting between several powerful forces?

From his experience, meetings like that usually meant one of only a few things.

Some major situations affecting the current civilization. A conflict over territory or resources. Or... It could even be a war.

Garion’s expression immediately brightened at the possibility. "Sounds pretty exciting."

Atlas’s tiny face stiffened the instant he heard him.

[That is exactly why I fucking hate that reaction.]

Garion glanced toward Atlas. "What? Important meetings are interesting."

[Normal people hear ’several powerful forces gathering’ and become cautious. You immediately start hoping for a war.]

Garion rolled his eyes. "I didn’t say that."

[You thought it loudly enough.]

Garion ignored him and looked back toward Volkrath. "Alright."

He gave a firm nod. "Count me in."

Volkrath’s golden-red eyes flashed with approval.

Garion leaned back slightly and added, "Just tell me where I need to go when the time comes."

Volkrath gave a slow nod. "Very well."

A faint smile appeared on the dragon God’s face. "Then in one month, Garion, I will personally take you there."

---

Not long afterward, the Volcanion Dragon Clan envoys finally departed from [Divine Celestial Gym Island No.1].

For the next month, they would remain with the branch Ignis Dragon Clan in the Astral Cosmic World.

After all, Volkrath had already promised to return personally and take Garion to that important meeting when the time came.

Once the final crimson-gold warship disappeared into the distance, Bruno immediately walked toward Garion with an unusually serious expression. "Garion."

Garion raised an eyebrow. "What?"

Bruno took a deep breath, already looking like he was preparing himself for another headache. "When you attend that meeting, please mind your attitude."

Garion blinked. "Why?"

Bruno’s mouth twitched. "Because there are going to be a lot of terrifying beings there."

He pointed toward Garion with one finger. "And unlike today, you really shouldn’t go around casually calling every God you meet ’mere’ or challenging them just because they look interesting."

Garion became thoughtful for a second.

Bruno almost felt hopeful.

Garion’s mouth slowly curved upward. "I’ll think about it."

Bruno stared at him.

Garion stared back innocently.

Several seconds passed before Bruno finally released a long, exhausted sigh.

There was no point.

No matter what he said, trying to talk common sense into Garion was like trying to convince a volcano not to erupt because it would be inconvenient. "In that case, do whatever the hell you want."

Garion laughed. "That sounds more reasonable."

Bruno’s eyebrow twitched again. Eventually, he gave up completely and left alongside Paren.

Garion had clearly entered a level where Bruno could no longer control what kinds of dangerous situations the bastard decided to throw himself into.

As they walked away from the main hall, Paren glanced sideways at Bruno. "It seems Garion will be beyond our reach starting today."

Bruno remained quiet for a moment before nodding. "Most likely."

Paren frowned slightly. "What exactly is that meeting?"

Bruno’s expression immediately became heavier. "Don’t ask."

Paren looked toward him in surprise.

Bruno continued walking without turning his head. "I know meetings like that exist."

His voice dropped noticeably lower. "I know that the beings attending them are usually far above people like us."

He paused briefly. "But I don’t know what they actually discuss."

Paren’s expression changed.

Bruno finally glanced toward him. "The fact that someone in my position knows the meetings exist, yet still isn’t qualified to know what happens inside them..."

He let the sentence hang for a moment. "That alone should tell you enough."

Paren fell silent.

His curiosity did not disappear, but his desire to satisfy it certainly became much weaker.

Bruno looked forward again. "Stay quiet."

He shoved both hands behind his back as they continued walking. "There’s no need to get curious about matters above our level."

Paren slowly nodded. "Agreed."

For once, he had absolutely no desire to know more.
