Hermit Wizard

342. Life of a Wizard (Paige) (18)

Transcendents, or few saviors, who have contracted with the Dead. Beyond that, even the hypocrites of the past.

Why do they not unilaterally destroy contracts with petty beings? Why did you always keep it?

Some scholars have argued that the contract with the great beings means nothing but amusement, and that it makes no difference whether they keep it or not. But the argument is also contradictory. If it is just a joke and you have to break it, of course you have to break it. However, even if we look at the records of all civilizations, there are no such records, or they appear extremely rare, and even if there are broken records, there have been incidents that suggest that transcendents, hypocrites, or hypocrites have taken the equivalent.

I said.

“Contracts do not consist solely of one party. At least two parties are intertwined and intertwined. And the force that constitutes the force of the contract comes from the two parties, not the other way around. ”

In a word, if the deceiver has a contract, part of the force comes from the deceiver.

The same was true of Kilgenias.

“Now that you've broken the contract, the force to which your own power has contributed is already seizing you and consuming your power. Penalties are imposed by the weight of the existence of · · ·. ”

“No, you're wrong. ”

Kilgenias was still only illuminating me with an equal and equitable amount of hostility. After the wizards and Aberdeen were gone, the wrath that remained on her seemed to be scattered equally among all the worlds. For her, I felt like I wasn't a little bit more special or less special compared to the others.

She said:

“If any of those parties disappear, the contract will be destroyed. ”

Dry as you would recite a natural fact.

“The contract does not consist of two parties. If one side is gone, it's over. ”

He looked at me and defined me.

“Now you're not the one I promised you at the time. ”

She was denying the continuity between me then and me now.

“Because I don't have it in me? ”

“Yes.”

Kilgeniapros' argument is simple. At the time of signing the contract, I was [his] self mixed with both of them, and I was also [his] self who led the contract.

However, as she decided, I am now absorbing all traces of [him], leaving only my self as Yoon Min-jun.

The ordering and the retrieval of the sacrifices were done at the same time. Neither was the offering made by either party, and the contradiction was interpreted as being destroyed again at the time the contract was concluded.

But I argue that that interpretation is wrong in front of Kilgenias now.

“The contract was broken because [he] disappeared? ”

“Yeah, so why don't you stop doing this? I still have too many worlds to eat. You noticed that, didn't you? This psychic attack can't end me now. I'm already beyond Aberdeen. You can take your time with so many of those youngsters, but you won't be able to bring me down. I can't break my will. ”

“If the contract is broken, why is the force still holding you? ”

Kilgenias tried to deny it.

But the next moment, she encountered some facts that she had not noticed, or had forgotten, even though she had known.

“· · · No. ”

For the first time, there is chaos in the psyche.

She kept her silence for a moment, as if she were treating herself calmly, and then asked me. It was a strange and calm question, even in a hostile storm that seemed to stab the existence.

“This can't be happening. Why is the contract still in place? ”

She asked again.

“No way, because of the little voice that's left in me? No, this is a kind of idea rather than a party to a contract. ”

Ask if it is inconclusive.

“How did I not notice that this contract was being maintained? No, did you forget? ”

Kilgenias seemed to explore by observing the identity of forgetfulness that permeated him. It didn't take a long time to find out if it was because of perceived difficulties. A fragment of the existence that governs the power of seclusion, concealment, and forgetfulness was in her.

I recite like a groan.

“The everlasting night has intervened in me. ”

After the scripture without the last chapter, until the everlasting night.

Those who have existed since ancient times. It was the last step towards integrity, but in the end, beings like the fossils of time who chose to stay here were intervening in reality with the same goal.

“Why? His attribute is to hide and forget, or to make him forget? If I eat everything, I'll forget everything naturally. ”

“No, you have to remember to forget. I can't forget what I didn't record. Likewise, you have to exist to hide. You can't hide what's not there. ”

Kilgenias, who had forgotten that the contract was still in place and had violated it, eventually faced its enforcement.

“But how? ”

Reject.

“I've eaten it all. ”

I know that she took a look at all my memories from the moment she sacrificed some of Yoon Min-jun's memories to the last moment.

Nevertheless, what she does not think of now is also because the power of forgetfulness, which has eternal night, has intervened.

“· · · Yes. ”

Later, a dry voice resounded.

“You've got a very small part left. ”

I affirmed her words.

* * *

Just before I overlapped my mind with Kilgeniapros, in Philadelphia.

I opened a new channel. It was not a wound that was fully anchored to the opponent's dimension, but a temporary passageway through which it could quickly recover again.

Fortunately, the summoned dimension was still before being eaten by Kilgenias, and he was safe.

Unlike the most recent summons, the blue door opened in the space just a few steps ahead of my chest. The two dimensions lead and the front paw covered in black fur waits and steps.

The opponent asked me in his mind. Are you sure you're okay?

I gave my permission.

That's how he took the next step after he asked me for Yoon Hur's approval. A hoof situated underneath the fine bridge makes another sound. Starting with the head coming out of the channel, the rest of the body immediately crossed over.

He turns his long, wolf-like snout towards me and bows to the ground with his head within. Kneel with long, straight legs down. I was a little skinnier than I was when I last summoned, but compared to the time of my first friendship, I am a little heavier. There's another part that's different. He expressed extreme courtesy, humility and respect that had never been shown to me before.

The summoner said to me with such an example.

Welcome to the Great Being.

I answered his greetings.

“Long time no see, Yodmo. ”

He shook his sharp beak instead of his lips. The two ears, which resemble insect wings, shake as if they reveal a sense of insecurity. Yodmo was the face of a man who couldn't tell me how I had so rapidly evolved in such a short time.

I dare ask, what did you call me today?

Having such a powerful power, it was now a question of what you would need to do.

I replied.

“I have to break the contract. ”

Before I went to see Kilgenias, who broke the contract, I also had to break one contract.

Yodmo expressed extreme anxiety about my sudden sentence.

I mean, is there anything wrong with me?

“No, it's not like that. ”

I explained to him that there was no need to worry.

“You took some of my past memories in return for your first contract, right? I got dyspepsia because of a huge memory like the black mist that was hiding in it. ”

Yodmo nods slowly.

Yes, and, you know, by my will, I left you a little bit, and I gave the rest back to the Great One.

He looked into his eyes and said,

“Give me back all the memories I have left. ”

Yodmo hesitated and pointed out that he was not sure if he would dare say this.

But this is unilateral contract destruction. No matter how much you say you are.

“Yes, compulsion. ”

Unilateral coercive destruction is also a violation and the corresponding compensation must be paid.

I was ready to do that.

“I'm going to give you something you can't compare to the memory that's left in you. ”

Yes, sir?

I did not understand Yodmo, but I had no intention of overturning the penalty of this contract.

Only a tiny fragment of [that] remained in Yodmo, and the summoner had not yet digested it all. Instead of returning it, I'm ready to give you a piece of memory that far exceeds its capacity.

I look at the memories I've had in all my previous lives of my numerous children and souls. There are so many useless or meaningless things in their memories that even if they are collected with very little effort, they will not be compared to the memories of [them] left in Yodmo.

“Give it to me as it is, and I'll blow up the ship. I'll give it to you so you won't be burdened. But it is enough to replace the existing price. ”

I sent a psychic wave to Jodmo explaining what I was thinking about, and the summoner, who was overwhelmed by the scale, was stiff and opened his mouth.

“You have nothing to lose. So, what do you think? Will you break the contract?”

Yodmo nods in haste, fearing that I might withdraw my offer.

* * *

Kilgenias only saw the gloomy darkness that was hidden in my mind.

Compared to the traces of the old spirit that was eaten by fanatics, it is not possible to interact with the apparent self, even though it seems so small and weak. It is uncertain whether full recovery will be possible in the future. Nevertheless, the debris was clearly [the].

After receiving [it] 's memory back from Yodmo, I felt that I should keep it in the safest place, and the place I chose was inside me.

“That's why! ”

Kilgeniapros struggled in pain. The force was attacking her more and more strongly.

All of a sudden, it was because I had asked for the return of the offering, which I had again embraced a part of.

In the past, I had been given back some of the sacrifices I had made to her, namely, the body. It was my unilateral request, so I only returned my original offering by offering the body of a dragon that was a little more violent than the human organ.

The position has now become completely opposed. This time, there was a cause for concern for Kilgeniapros. She can no longer meet my demands by simply returning the eaten [him] as she is. I must return more than that.

Moreover, the more deadly element is that it has become impossible for her to return [it] to me.

The organ she took from me was floating like a meteorite in her dimension and was as rich as it was in its original state, but [he] was not.

Kilgeniapros decomposes the eaten [it] into nourishment. He transformed the power of the eternal night into a part of his way. As if the sacred painting had been transformed into her power, [he], who had already swallowed it, also went to an irreversible stage.

Eventually, my demand to come now and return [it] led to an irreversible shock to her.

“This can't be! ”

The psychic world fluttered and moved rapidly. The fragments of the eternal night, which make up a dimension called Kilgeniapros, were slightly separated from her. It was the same as cracking the whole dimension.

In the meantime, I saw an unexpected scene.

The one whose human body was desperately carried by her mind. An object that reflects the real-world situation as it is projected.

It seemed clever to hide whether the mental defenses had collapsed or not. I stare at it with miserable emotions. It was a pain that seemed to tear the whole heart out, incomparable with the previous, whether it was due to the trace of [it] or the influence of the connected self.

What she was carrying was the nucleus of her child, separated from the universe that had stopped.
