- Camille Perspective

Atashi's name is Camille. A former adventurer and now a guild receptionist. I tend to imagine my young daughter when I say receptionist, but even Obasan like Atashi uses me because this guild is understaffed. When I retired from my adventurer, I was dismayed, but now that I can work for my loving husband and kids, I'm allowed to have a full day.

The guild receptionist has another Miranda besides Atashi, but he's away for the day off. I had to work alone, so when I was desperate to keep moving, my beautiful daughter came in like I'd never seen her in the guild.

Golden hair to the shoulder and jeweled blue eyes. A neat face you wouldn't even see in nobility and some strangely dignified words and deeds even though you're young. I met such a god-loved daughter that the adventurers who were in the guild, of course, were so surprised that even Atashi was stunned for a moment.

The daughter's name is Lapis. They relied on Ciel and Karin, familiar adventurers, to come out of the country. He said he brought you here because he wanted to get a job at the guild. Atashi thought this was a gift from God. 'Cause you do, don't you? Even if I work desperately every day, I get more jobs instead of less. That's when the Alliance's, and they want to receive it. Besides, she's cute. I accidentally prayed to Toledo, the god of business.

But I honestly thought it would be tough to hire you. Because basically, the Alliance only hires people who have achieved merit as adventurers. Normal people who haven't even registered will be hired if they don't pass the rigorous test. I have to solve as many shitty historical and computational problems as I do in a bump production if I'm writing. I have to show strength to convince the Alliance Master. The Guildmaster now - Creek was a famous adventurer when he was younger. It is said that many adventurers were recommended to the knights of the kingdom for the time being by crusading defeated demons and raising their names. I think I kicked the story that I'm not interested in anything other than adventurers... Well, anyway, that's how strong Creek is. Lapis doesn't look like he can fight, and if he's going to break the exam, he's going to have to work hard in writing.

Creek and Lapis came back from the Alliance training ground when Atashi was about to give up more than half of them. Because Creek looked like he was tired, oh, I don't know... but to my surprise, Lapis was passing. And in practice. I thought you were a bit of a wizard because Ciel brought you here, but he's not. No, it looks like we can use magic from what Creek told us. But what I used in practice was a sword. That creek didn't get a hand or a leg, so you can't beat him if he stands upside down. No, people don't look like it.

Either way, the Alliance was able to increase the number of outstanding and cute receptionists. Hooray for Atashi.

The next day, when Atashi went to work for the guild, Lapis was already here. He said he came about the same time as Creek to clean the inside and outside of the guild. You've got a really good daughter in there. Looks like the kid named Abel I was with turned me into a practice bench, so I don't have to tell you how to register, and you have nothing to say.

"Well, then, guys, let's just say we get to work today"

When Creek opens the door, the adventurers, who were queuing up just waiting, fall into an avalanche. It's the usual sight for Atashi, but you look like you've had your first Lapis.

"Lapis. I don't have a lot of registrations, so can I take care of them all?

"Yes!"

"That's a good reply. Then I asked for it. Just don't panic and calm him down. Ask Atashi if you don't understand."

Lapis was polite to each and every one of them, beside him in his work. The guy who registers as an adventurer is mostly young kids who have just come out of the country, so it's often a nervous, unpredictable conversation, but that girl kept a smile on her face and she was gutsy. After a while when I thought it was okay to leave it to you, Lapis called me. I thought there was something I didn't know, but it was different.

"Mr. Camille. I can help because no one wants to register anymore. When the requisition is brought to you, you just have to fill out these papers and check the plates for sure, right?

"Oh, oh... yes, I am"

What a surprise. I've already remembered my job even though I was just looking at the chills on the side. She's a very memorable daughter.

"Hey sister! You didn't get paid enough! Twenty silver coins is supposed to be only eighteen!

As soon as one of the adventurers who just got paid and left the guild came back, he suddenly yelled at Lapis. Yeah, I'm here sometimes. Here's the thing. After receiving a regular reward as written in the requisition, there's a guy who tries to get his obsession and rip the money off the guild. On top of unreasonable demands, strong adventurers are amazing, so the average girl hired in writing often quits because she doesn't like this. I wanted to rush over and help you, but I can't get my hands off the other adventurers' responses, either. It's also hard for Lapis, who's just come in, to handle it well - and Atashi's predictions came off brilliantly.

"Okay. Then I'll take a look at the plate. Give me that and the rewards you received. I'll check with the record of the request."

"I just got it from that woman over there! You should check it out over there!

"Plate and reward please. If you can't confirm it, you can't pay."

"What is this!? You're telling me I'm lying!?

In contrast to adventurers who spit and yell and scatter, Lapis is a cool face. That's amazing. I'm not feeling a little upset. She's a daughter with a liver that doesn't look familiar.

"I also have trouble getting you to submit what you just said in order to find out if it's a lie"

"Make the difference quick because it's good! Guild mistakes, though!

No, we're not talking about it at all. No, this is that one. Pretend it's not going through with the wax, and I'm soul-bold to do something about it with momentum. Stay a minute, Lapis. Now that I'm done with my work over here, I'm going to get rid of that loser right away. When Atashi tried to break into two conversations with his arms around him, there was a tremendous amount of pressure on Atashi's body. This is... the feeling that every adventurer is experiencing - killing. Intense killer like having an ice-cold stuck in his back. When Atashi was active, even the mighty demons who had finally crusaded at many parties had not let go of their killing spirit so far. Cold sweat blows out of my body on its own. While I couldn't move like I was in a gold bondage, I tried to move only the only gaze that would set me free, and the other adventurers in the guild were solidifying in a similar way. And everyone stares at a point with a face drawn to fear. Ahead, there was Lapis, after all, or as expected.

"That's crazy? You don't seem to hear me, so I'll say it again. plates and give the rewards you received. Is that it? Didn't you hear me?

Don't let the people around you freeze to death with a cute smile on your face! The adventurer who was obsessed with her passed out standing up! Creek! You hired a hell of a daughter!

"Is that it? You're sleeping something. Were you tired? Mr. Camille, this man will stand in your way, so I'll take you to the corner."

"Huh? Ah... yeah"

When I said that, the killing spirit that was released from Lapis disappeared. Atashi and the other adventurers sighed heavily, ha-ha-ha. Lapis grabbed the adventurer with one hand, who remained stunned, and hurried away from her as if she had encountered a demon. Never mind the adventurers. Going to the corner of the room, he threw away the adventurer he had there in full swing. Yeah, that's a pattern that makes my body hurt after I wake up. Definitely.

"I've disturbed you all. We'll reopen the process, please come here."

Looks like no one has the guts to try to line up right before she laughs. Naturally. If you're an armed adventurer there, you must have figured out just how strong she is with the current exchange. Because if I piss you off badly, you might get twisted like the other guy. But Atashi's predictions fell off again. One boy stood before her, who everyone would shy away from.

"Um, this! I'd like to take this request!

The boy's face looked familiar. When I came to work this morning, I was a rookie adventurer that Creek had put on with Lapis' practice. I see a little fright in your face, but I don't show you the slightest gesture of escape. You have a lot of nerve, too, according to what you see.

"Mr. Abel... yes, then show me the plates and the requisitions"

A boy by the name of Abel offered a request for herb collection, which is always sticking out for beginners. The runaway adventurer said, "It's a basic process to go through the equipment and do the crusade requests one by one, while doing a lot of requests." You did a great job when you were a young daughter, too.

This is my first time processing a requisition. Lapis took a bunch of confirmation requisitions out of the counter, though she was a little confused, and started matching them with Abel's requisition. Since the request contains the name and address of the client, as well as the request fee and the details of the request, the receptionist must make sure there is no mistake in it and communicate it to the adventurer in advance if there are any deficiencies or penalties.

Well, the request for herb collection is what the Alliance is putting out, and there's no penalty, and I can't go wrong.

"... I could confirm. Good luck with your first request, Mr. Abel. Be careful because there is no particular deadline. Running away when it's dangerous is part of the choice."

"Thanks! I'll try my best!

Abel was blushing as she folded the requisition she received and missed it. If a pretty girl inspires you, you'd be up for boys that age. Besides, the other guy is Lapis. He said he was motivated. The adventurers who were watching far away also began to line up in front of Lapis, watching him interact with Abel and deciding there was no danger. Oh, man, I was bored, but you're going to be good at this.

§ § §

To some extent, the acceptance of the Alliance went on a lunch break. How many guilds have no time off, so there's no way you can work without time off till the Atasis. Once a day, an hour's meal break is the only time to rest your mind. Atashi took Lapis into the conference room on the second floor of the guild. This is originally a conference room, but it is rarely used, so this is usually how staff rest rooms are replaced. Inside, they were in a break. The clerks ate the meal delivered to them, and when they saw the athletes coming into the room, they raised their hands.

"Hey! It's Camille and Lapis! Come here."

Saying so and waving is Kevin, the most groovy kid in the office. He's a guy with no eyes for a pretty girl, so I guess I'll give Lapis a little time. But, well, you're just the right follower for this nervous girl. I think this girl can handle it on her own, even if she gets her hands on it.

"Then I'm sorry to bother you"

"Go ahead! Oh, don't hesitate because this is the meal the guild's picking up. I have a guild to pay for it."

"Really? I didn't think about lunch, so it helps."

I don't know about the other guilds, but only for this guild, Guildmaster Creek is offering lunch with the guild. There are many Alliance officials who have a lot of different circumstances, so there are many guys who have difficulty preparing their own lunch. They seem to take care to keep those people out of trouble as much as possible outside of work. Atashi can cook herself, but she's making me sweeten up to the likes of Creek. Because just floating one meal a day is a big help to my family.

I was confused at first, Lapis, but it seemed as though the tension was coming off as well, as I grabbed the bread and skewers arranged on the table. The clerks seem intrigued by the prospective newcomer, and they started questioning him earlier.

"Lapis, where are you from?

"It's on the edge of the continent. I don't think anyone knows what's going on in the country."

"You can use both swords and magic?

"For once. I've been a long way from a real fight lately, so maybe I'm blunt."

Absolutely lying. I wanted to say that my daughter, who stuns a skilled adventurer just for killing, would never be blunt - but I decided to keep my mouth shut. I didn't know if you were here to eat or talk after that, but Lapis solidified into Kevin's unleashed word.

"By the way, why does Lapis call herself me? You sound like some kind of boy."

You didn't notice until they pointed it out, Lapis is unusually upset. I thought that was odd, too. Lapis switched her hand, stretched out to the meal, to a drink along the way and poured the food in her mouth into her stomach with water.

"... it was rural. So you say me, male or female, right? My grandmother said something about herself," Me. "

I think that's a pretty painful excuse. But... this is... right, that's it. When Atashi was a kid, it was the right time to admire the boys in the neighborhood and say something about herself. I'm sure Lapis will remain yearning for boys this year. She's so cute, but she doesn't have a body. Atashi suddenly this daughter became loving and gently embraced her shoulder.

"What is it, Mr. Camille?

"It's fine. Everyone has a time like that. It's not embarrassing."

"... something seems so wrong..."

"It's good! You can stay put until Lapis feels better!

Lapis with his neck clenched was funny, but unfortunately the break came to an end. Atashi and the others return to the ground floor and the reception resumes. One adventurer after the other arrived and noticed it was nearly evening. One injured adventurer came in through the entrance when I thought it was time to finish today's work.

The way I came back from the request is terrible. I don't know whose it belongs. Traces of blood, demonic fluids, and splendid armor worn down. The sword seems to be losing its sheath, too, and it was tied to its back with its body pulled out. The adventurers who saw him breathed only, lowering their gaze and giving him a sinking look. I don't give a rat attitude, but I feel the same way about them. I can tell you've been doing this for a long time. That's a unique atmosphere for those who failed to make a request and lost their people. It's the face of a human being captured by despair, surviving only by himself.

Men approach one step at a time, with leopards, leopards, in unreliable footsteps. You're not even too blind, you almost hit the pillar next to the counter.

"It's not that way. The receptionist is here."

When I realized when it had moved, Lapis was standing beside the man. She takes a wounded man's hand and directs him to reception. And I sat a man in the chair I was sitting in, and I started asking him what was going on with a gentle voice that reassured me.

"... can you tell me what happened?

"... my people..."

That's all I said, the man lay down on his face and began to sift his shoulders. Tearful Shizuku falls from his leaning face pompous and numerous.... I'm sorry. But it's not a rare sight here. Adventurers work side by side with danger. Looks like only one of these men survived, but according to the request I received, they all didn't leave any bones - oh, my God, it's not uncommon. You're better off just staying alone, aren't you?

If you watch, you'll understand, but Lapis is a sharp daughter. As much as you know what happened to a man, I'm sure you do. She patiently waits for the man to settle down and doesn't try to talk until she starts talking to me from herself. I guess you know that poor sympathy and comfort turn the other person's nerves upside down.

"... sorry"

"No. Never mind"

The man who regained his composure began to tell us what had happened to their party as they wiped their tears. Again, or as expected, his party seemed devastated in the battle against demons. The crusade for the demon designated in the request was a success in itself, but on its way home, it seems that the demon, far above ourselves, has carried out an ambush. At first, they tried to fight. The men said they all escaped the moment their buddies' bodies were finely cut in one blow. He continued to flee desperately himself and made it this far with his life.

"... I heard my buddies scream on the way out. Please help me. He said don't leave me... I'm horrible... with all my might to get away with... I'm, I'm a coward! I just wanted to help myself and I killed my people!

"That's not true."

Lapis' quiet voice calms the fiercely high man.... Atashi didn't say anything and decided to watch quietly how she handled this situation. If she's going to be working for the Alliance, this kind of scene isn't going to happen once or twice. Better get used to it within the present.

"Are your people blaming you for running away? Are you the kind of people who resent your help?

"No! Definitely not those guys!

With a bright red face, Lapis speaks quietly to a man who even haunts his killer and exalts himself.

"Then I'm sure you'll be glad you helped. He said it was good to get away with just one. Isn't that right?

To her words, the man looked up silently as he devoured his teeth. My shoulders are shaking small. Do you remember my lost companion? No one understands his chest. Eventually he regained his composure, the man had a serene face, like a possession could have been taken.

"... Your daughter is right. I'm sure those guys would say that.... Sorry for the disturbance. Can I ask you to go through with this?

"Absolutely."

My people will die, but I'm asking for a favor. If it succeeds, it pays off, and if it fails, it penalizes it as contracted. That's the guild code. The man offered Lapis the plate and the requisition form from his nostalgia, and the demonic area from the leather bag he carried. She takes it without saying anything and goes ahead with the work pale.

"… the request is complete. Here are ten gold coins for your reward, please receive them."

"Thank you, young lady."

The man seemed to miss the reward offered by Lapis. Get your last reward with your buddies.

"Um."

Lapis speaks to the man who is about to walk away. On the back of a man who was about to disappear, she softly put her hands on it.

"... what?

"I'm not the in-laws I could have told you, but good luck."

Moment - Lapis' hand glowed and the man's wound disappeared beautifully. Too many sights drain men, athletes, and other adventurers. That's definitely healing magic. A healing miracle that a virtuous cleric can use. It's a tremendous magic to activate a healing magic that should require a long chant if you're a co-priest, in an instant, and without chanting.

"Ko, this is..."

"It's at least a help. Be sure to look healthy the next time you see her."

To her encouragement, the face of the man who was surprised loosens up. I guess that calm face is what he is.

"Thank you. I promise. I'm sure I'll get back on my feet and come back here. Then I'll ask you to go through with it."

"I'll wait."

Waving and dropping off the man behind the guild, Atashi spoke with a voice that only Lapis could hear.

"Lapis, how was your day experiencing guild work?

When she thought about it a little, she said this with a clear face.

"It's hard. But it's a very rewarding job. Thank you for your continued support, Camille."

"Absolutely! I'm counting on you tomorrow, Lapis."

"Yes!"

This is how the day ended for the cute, unwelcome, strange junior of Atashi. There 'll be a lot ahead, but she can get over it. Atashi was deep in his heart, so sure.
