- Rubias Perspective

Some time after I started attending the training center with my mentor's introduction, I was advised to register as an adventurer by my mentor. Because qualification as an Adventurer is mandatory in order to be requested by the Adventurer Alliance. Of course, there was no reason to say no, so I accepted in two replies, and I became part of the adventurer in the clear.

"This is only the testament of the adventurer..."

Take a look at the bronze rank plates you receive from various angles. I hear the alley adventurer will start with this bronze rank and go for the rank above while doing the request to the tunnel. Of course, not all adventurers can live an adventurer's life the way they envisioned their future, and a small number of adventurers say they will die in the battle they are asking for and many will retire in the middle of their dreams. The reasons for this vary. Limits of strength and talent. I hung up. I was disgusted with my life. I had to retire because of an injury - etc. I guess each adventurer is walking through difficulties I just signed up for that I can't imagine.

"Now Rubias is one of the adventurers."

"Thank you, Master. If I hadn't met my master, I wouldn't have been able to register as an Adventurer in my life."

"I exaggerate. Shall I take your first request instead? Actually, I thought it was just right for Rubias' training, so I kept a request."

That being said, the request taken by the master contained the letter of bandit exorcism in a conspicuous manner. Bandits - a bunch of thieves I don't have to tell you. They are extremely bad people who ambush in the streets and elsewhere, wind up hardware from people passing by, and in the worst case, take their lives. Most bandits seem to be convenient to hide themselves and operate in the runaway outdoors, but they also have groups lurking all over the city inside. The bandits on this request seem to be making the outdoors a place of activity, and the place they think is lurking was about halfway between this city of Suphore and the neighboring town.

"Master?"

"If Rubias aspires to be a brave man, sooner or later he will fight man. Not many, but there must be some people on the side of the Demon King. Suddenly it's too dangerous to say... in action with them, so think you should get used to it around the bandits. Of course, Rubias, you're not gonna let him take it alone, are you? 'Cause you're gonna need help from two adventurers who live with me, too."

I hear there's an adventurer living with his master. Those two women should not have left the very common realm of adventurers until their master showed up in this city, but now they are stronger by the time they defeat the brave men of the Rebble Empire. You think that and this is because the master is archaic like a day in a row? To be honest, I envy the environment too much. And when I say master's disciple, I also mean my brother's disciple. I mean, he's a sister-in-law, not a brother. Aside from the requests, they're the ones I'd love to meet.

"Make sure you let me take it! It's an honorable thing to do, such as take your first request with your sister disciples!

"... you're so motivated. It's better than passivity."

My master feels a little bitter. Why don't you? I seem to have a bad habit of my enthusiasm being empty, and sometimes I find myself in a situation where they are as confused as they are right now. Though I want to cure it, I haven't been able to correct it because of my natural nature.

After the guild, I was to be taken by my master to interrupt her house. I wanted to buy something as a souvenir because it was my first visit to the master's house, but I couldn't afford to shop or anything because it came from the guild without stopping by. Besides, the landlord guides me. Even a souvenir would be strange now.

"I'm home."

"Welcome home, Lapis."

"Welcome home."

Two welcoming masters soothingly into the house. It's hard to tell because I'm indulgent in my everyday clothes, but from what I've done, one was considered a warrior and one a wizard. They both seem older than me, but I still think they're a lot younger from the average adventurer. Probably in his early twenties or so. The warrior is a woman who is giving people an atmosphere of goodness and looks at me with interest when I suddenly visit her. The wizard has a quiet impression. I sit back in my chair and read some kind of book. That's probably like a magic book. This one, unlike the warrior, doesn't turn an obvious glance, but it seems to be observing this one with a flicker from time to time.

"Both of you, I'll introduce you. Rubias this girl talked about yesterday. She's a real princess, but now she's my apprentice and two juniors, so you don't have to use reverence or anything."

"It's Rubias! Best wishes!

"Nice to meet you! I'm Karin. I'm a warrior."

"I'm Ciel. Wizard. Nice to meet you."

Hold the hand offered in turn and shake hands gutteringly.... strong. I can figure it out just by holding my hand. These people seem to be farther up in arms than I am. I wouldn't be as human apart as my master on a boulder, but I still feel a lot above the average adventurer.

"Quick, but I want you two to take Rubias and take the request. This is it."

Everyone's gaze gathered on the requisition placed on the table. You don't even get nervous about the extent of the bandit's crusade request, the two of you don't look nervous when you hear about the number of enemies and the power of the battle. I'm a little nervous compared to that even though I haven't even fought yet. I don't know. At this rate now, the ahead is compassionate.

"You're not that far from here."

"Because it's close to the street. Their base is probably... in this forest, I think."

"Naturally, you'll be on guard, and you need to be on guard."

If you go north along the street, you should be able to reach the area around your destination without any problems. Two weeks' worth of food on the round-trip would be enough - and Mr. Ciel said something strange.

"You fly up close, then you don't have to look?

Fly away? Is Mr. Ciel capable of flying magic just like his master? I thought you'd be strong, but I can't believe you could even use such magic, Boulder. My sister apprentice.

"No, let's stop it. I want Rubias to experience the adventurer's life this time. The average adventurer travels on foot. Have them actually do wild lodging and watching along the way. If you can't do it by magic, you're just gonna die."

"Oh well. Is that good for Rubias, too?

"Of course! I will do my utmost to be able to stand alone as a single adventurer!

"Oh, you're motivated! That's what I meant!

That's what I said. Mr. Karin was nervous. He slapped me on the shoulder.... You're a good man. He doesn't look very solid, but he's attractive enough to reassure me somewhere just by being on his side. I have a real sister, but I wonder why this guy I first met feels more like my sister.

I have a brand new tool bag on my back. These are packed with adventurer essentials, such as water, food, and firestones and potions. Of course the outfit is perfectly armed. He wears easy-to-move armor, a sword on his hips, and a spare dagger on his opposite hips. My armor is made of magic silver (Mithril), which is light and durable but also has high magic resistance. Although it is broken as something to wear as a newbie adventurer, I have no choice because I am in a position. If I say I want to wear the same gear as any other adventurer, they'll decide against it. The sword is unnamed, but it's a business. A slightly or softly unscrupulous use would not break it.

"That's your first request. Good luck."

"You don't have to be nervous. We're on it."

"Yes, thank you"

You two showed care to unwind me when I was nervous. The majority of the adventurers would be lucky to have partied with someone as calm as the two of them, just because they heard they were crude people. Well, my luckiest thing is that I met my master.

Walking down the street is different from all sorts of people. adventurers and pedestrians in the industry. To the way I said aristocracy and luxury in the carriage. When the carriage passes, the walkers avoid the way, and the walkers greet each other lightly. In the case of carriages, people had to avoid them, so naturally, they had a reason to say hello to all the different people.

"We don't know each other who we meet in the streets, do we? So I have no hostility, I feel safe, and I don't need to say hello."

"I see! Was that why you said that? I was wondering if you two were aggressive about socializing."

"If it's true, I guess it's better that way. Just remember, this isn't just about adventurers, it's about street rules."

"You'll learn"

Even the chatter on the way down the street reminded me that information I didn't know came next and that I was truly worldless.

"It's no shame you don't know. I just need to study it."

"That's right. Besides, it's fun to remember something new. Rubias has a lot of fun ahead of him."

What you don't understand is shame - if you show a gap in an aristocratic society, you will be followed. It was the thought of scales falling out of my eyes in such a completely different way than mine. And at the same time, I am sincerely grateful that these people were my sister disciples.

Between the city of Suphore and the neighboring towns there are forests, and hunters, woodcutters, etc. come and go every day because they get food for life, he said. They seem to have been holding back from work for the past few days. Needless to say, there are bandits. They set up bases in several parts of the woods and say they're raiding the streets as they move constantly. Of course, although Count Grom and neighboring town nobles are offering crusade soldiers, by the time they arrive in the woods, they are disappearing like a summer.

This is also because they keep more than one watch, but also because of the slow movement of the soldiers. In general, if there is any criminal activity, it is delivered to the guard first. If they are unlikely to be in their hands, they will speak to the soldier chief above them, and if it is still determined that they are out of their hands, they will finally be reported under the lord. Since their discretion is left to some extent, they will be able to deal with it more quickly the way they do it now, even if it is smaller in size. But if, like this one, a few soldiers are unlikely to be able to deal with it, they are going to get behind them.

It is not uncommon for a knight to bring a soldier to the woods and say that it was a mushroom. Most of all, it gives us a place where adventurers can act quickly, anytime, anywhere.

"Shall we camp here today, then?"

After I left the city, I kept walking for over half a day. When it was time for my legs to become sticks, I finally unloaded the luggage Mr. Karin was carrying. This is a meadow just off the street, with unparalleled views of the area. Coming from the area with Mr. Karin to gather dead trees and dead grass, Mr. Siel quickly lit a fire with a firestone and the fireworks could be done.

And they put a bunch of strange grass they've bought in the city on fire. Mr. Ciel told me with a bitter smile that he was strangling me without understanding what purpose he was doing that.

"Oh, say the grass you just burned is insect proof grass. If you put that ash around you, the bugs will stop coming."

"It works for snakes, too. I guess that's why people who live in the wild like adventurers carry them around."

"Do you have such a thing? Surprised."

Next, they take the dried bread out of the tool bag and begin to broil in the fire. I'll see, too. Imitating it with appearance, it smelled a little fragrant, and my tired body complained about my hunger. The two of you laugh brightly at me holding down my ringing belly and blushing.

"You're full of your first time. You must be tired and hungry."

"I can't even flatter you. It's food, but it changes a lot depending on your ingenuity, huh?

Next, Mr. Ciel took out the leather water inlet and poured a glass of water into the glass. The cup is made of iron so it is not a problem to broil with fire and the water quickly becomes hot water. Then shake a small wooden vial taken from the tool bag in the hot water you can, and sprinkle the powdered object in the cup. I was offered a few stirred things and I tried to put my mouth on a little nervously. Something that was just hot water gives it a rich taste of soup.

"... delicious"

"It's a cold, powdered boiled soup. So you can enjoy soup with a little hot water."

"So this is cheese. Eat it in hot bread and even this cheap, hard bread will taste good."

As I was told, when I pinched the cheese in the hot bread, the cheese melted out by the heat stained the bread, and the smell of my appetite tickled my nose more than ever.

"Come on, enjoy it"

"I'll have it!

I can't stand hunger, and greetings hang out there.

"Hmm!?

Yum! It's supposed to be crude ingredients, but it feels better than any dish I've ever had. I wonder why? I thought of a reason as I kept moving my bread-eating mouth. It's not that their culinary skills are extraordinary, or that the royal palace cooks weren't that good. Then because I was hungry? There's that too. But the biggest reason is probably because the body is aware that this meal is a life-connecting thing.

Luxurious dishes that don't even work in particular, only do what you like, such as training, and come out on your own if it's time. Would I have felt like eating them from the bottom of my heart as I do now when I eat them? The answer is no. Meals for me are also synonymous with the debriefing of what happens every day. Poisoned and chilled dishes and unfriendly brothers. The only time I talked to my father and mother was when I didn't think it would be fun to have shards.

How about now, compared to that? Securing ingredients, walking on our own feet, cooking ourselves - that's all that was making this crude meal the best I've ever had in my life. Drinking soup deluded me into feeling touched and about to weep, and I flattened the dish all at once.

"Welcome!

"Yes, my lord."

"You had plenty to say, Rubias!

If I eat, it's my buddy's turn next. Now I have to take the ingredients out of my toolbag and behave towards them. When I offered them something that I was surprised to be able to do while being coached by the two of them, they ate it up satisfactorily. You're pretty happy that people eat not only what you eat, but what you make.

When you're done eating, go to bed. Beast avoidance and securing sight when demons are approaching must be accompanied by a constant fire. There are three of them, so the watch is three shifts. Adventurers can't waste their strength, so they fall asleep right after a meal without even chatting. After shaking the ashes of the insect repellent grass that I just burned around me, me and Mr. Karin just laid down wrapped in a blanket.

"I know Nojuku will be tough until we get used to it, but this will be a good experience too. Good night."

"Then you go to bed first. Wake me up in three hours."

"I'm the last one, right? Excuse me first."

As soon as I lay down, I took a thoughtful back stretch and repeated my deep breath. The slightly damp smell of soil filled my lungs, but I have no unpleasant feeling at all. I was a little worried that I might not sleep well, but my consciousness quickly fell asleep. That concludes my first day as an adventurer.
