Arriving along the border, we unloaded a carriage on the ground and entered Barrios from land. There were many people waiting for us at the barrios to welcome us. It's quite a large area, with civilians to entertain, knights and soldiers to escort, and carriages to feed those personnel. It was also experienced during the Rebble Empire to enter other countries in this way, so we're not so surprised. Only one person, Dieria, seemed excited about her first experience though.

Unlike the Kingdom of Bordeaux, the Barrios domestic impression was quite idyllic. Not as much as the desert, the air feels dry and the sun feels strong. Because of this, the grasshoppers growing along the streets also seem to grow fast and are a lot taller than Bordeaux. And by the way, there was a cabin with a few soldiers stationed on the street, ready to deal with it immediately when something happened. Thanks to this, Barrios seems to be very secure and less damaged by bandits and demons than other countries. Rubias was admired because it was a system not found in the Kingdom of Bordeaux, and he seemed eager to ask the accompanying civilian questions.

Many merchants and adventurers who sometimes soak up the streets were also tanned, and the outfit still had a high ratio of short sleeve half pants. From them greeting me with a bright smile, I could feel that this country was very peaceful.

Unlike during the time of the Rebble Empire, the journey by carriage is peaceful in itself. If no demons or bandits show up, there will be no delay in time. After about three weeks crossing the border and passing through several cities, we finally arrived in Xanthos, the king's capital of Barrios.

"Good luck on your long journey. This is our king's capital, Xanthos."

The accompanying civilian taught me that with some proud chest. He even bought me a city guide at the same time and gives me a detailed explanation from inside the carriage, even if this one doesn't open its mouth, until I go to the royal castle.

"Lapis! It's the sea, the sea!

"Yeah. That's big."

"That's... that's the ocean. It's a big difference between reading in a book and actually seeing it."

"It's bigger than the lake, isn't it?

"Is this all salt water...... There's not going to be any trouble with salt for the rest of my life."

I'm the only one of us who's ever seen the ocean. For the first time, Karin and the others are hugely shuddered by the sea they see, rejoicing as if they were children. At first they were confused by the unique smell of tide coming from the sea, and now they are enjoying it completely.

Xanthos is present at the easternmost end of the continent - that is, in a position facing the sea. The city itself was sometimes referred to as Harbor Street, and when I looked east, I saw many types of ships moored, which I said were fishing boats, merchant ships, and passenger ships. And the harbour is also quite large, if it's a small city, that's all it's going to fit in suppoli. The harbour is divided into three large spaces, with a market for wholesale fish and other things, a freight harbour for merchant ships to load and unload, and an ordinary harbour for passenger ships to come and go. In each port, the musculoskeletal sea hans were exposed to tanned skin, while the flowing sweat also remained busy working. There is a sense of enthusiasm not found in the Kingdom of Bordeaux.

"This is connected to ports all over the continent, so ships from other countries come and go. Why don't you all board a cruise ship once you've met with Master Bandit?

"I want to ride!

"Me too. Whatever your boat is in the river, you've never been on a boat in the ocean."

"The Kingdom of Bordeaux is a landlocked country. Most of the people have never even seen the sea, not just the ships."

"I guess I haven't experienced it either. I didn't belong in the Navy."

"Then we'll all take a ride when we're done."

Of course I can't raise my voice against it. I agree unanimously with my proposal. After passing through the harbor, the carriage continues on a single road leading to the royal castle. It seems to be a boulevard, and even Xanthos' leading shops are lined up on a narrow shoulder.

"The size of the store is not the size of the Kingdom of Bordeaux, but I don't think you've lost it if you have a wide variety."

Sure, like he says, all kinds of products decorate the store's home anyway. I guess it's just the shipping country, and the artefacts from far away lands come in. I don't know, if I stayed here, I'd stay bored and unrelated - a city that made me feel that way.

"And that's the royal castle. I invite you all to greet Her Majesty the Queen after this and to meet with Bandit later."

Yes. Even more surprising now, apparently the king of this country is feminine. Her name is Titis. Young as I said only thirty years ago, she seems to be a daughter-in-law who is taking over her current status from her father, the former king, and cutting up the country splendidly. You think he's as bright and approachable as the sun in this country, and very popular with the people? Besides being beautiful, support from men - especially young men - seems overwhelming.

"Then I'll knock over the main entrance. Please wait in the carriage for a moment."

We walked into the castle and were led to the VIP room by an earlier civilian. For once, it is treated as a national guest treatment, so the rooms provided are very spacious, and all I know is that they are luxurious just by looking at the conditioning items provided. That's right.

"I don't know... you don't have a sense of unity"

"Right..."

Karin and Dieria muttered as if they were frightened. I know that it is easy to obtain cultural objects from other countries because it is a shipping country. I also know that I want visitors to know about it. But that shouldn't be the point of saying that everything should be arranged. Next to the cactus they seem to have picked it up from the south, even if they adorn the snowman figurine, I have trouble with my thoughts. Apparently, I'm incompatible with the aesthetics of people in this country. Soon the maids showed up multiple times and prepared a treat just for tea, but apparently there's nothing like alcohol. I don't want to drink anything, so it's good.

About an hour after we started to relax in the room, a returning civilian took us to greet the Queen. It seems that one day we will not be kept waiting in order like an empire, and we were led to a small garden set in the castle. A small garden is set up in a pockingly empty space inside the castle. There's a pretty big tent on top of the blowout instead of the ceiling, and it's going to protect the humans down there from the strong sun and rain storms. It is very well ventilated because the four sides are far from the same as the walls. Maybe this is for ventilation and assassination, dealing with both. And there was one table in the middle of the courtyard, where an elderly woman sat down and enjoyed her tea gracefully.

"This place..."

"This is my concubine's private garden. It is a place where only a very limited number of people can enter. I hope you like it."

It was a woman sitting alone who responded to my whining. The civil servant who showed us the way invites us to the table after giving the woman a compliment. Maybe this woman is Her Majesty Queen Titis. We kneel on the spot together and bow our heads deeply.

"Excuse me. Queen Titis, you're here, aren't you? I 'm-"

"Good. Such a hard greeting is good without it. Come on, you must be tired from a long journey, huh? Don't get down on your knees like that, sit here and forgive me."

"Now if you'll excuse me..."

Stopping Rubias from saying hello on behalf of the delegate, Titis suggested a seat to us in a casual manner. Although we looked at each other for a moment, it was rude to say no, so when I got to my seat for the most part, the maids showed up from somewhere to help me with the tea in no time. Were you even hiding in the shadow of the pillars?

"Then let me name you again. The concubine is the queen of this country, Titis. In response to the invitation of the brave men of our country, I thank you for having bothered to visit me from the Kingdom of Bordeaux far away"

"Words without body, Your Majesty. My name is Rubias, and I will be the third princess of the Kingdom of Bordeaux and name the brave one. From here, Karin the warrior, Ciel the wizard, Lapis the monk, and Dieria, the brave man of Zerbis by making him the user of bow and spirit magic. Stay tuned."

"Hmm. Guys, as I heard you say, it seems like all those who stand up in arms. You can count on me. Nevertheless, I had no idea that the brave men of the Kingdom of Bordeaux and the brave men of Zerbis were acting together. Is it also for some deep reason?

Being a queen, I don't think it's hard to get information about other countries in a position with reports such as the Intermediary. If she was like that, she would have known us and Dieria were acting together, but she wouldn't even know why. Rubias, who knows the circumstances, looked at Dieria as troubled as if she had spoken honestly. Then Dieria nodded one and started explaining it with her own mouth.

"There's a reason for that. I 'm-"

Dieria joined the fight for the prize money, and wrongly won the citation, and did not gather her companions. Hearing how she had come to the Kingdom of Bordeaux to work out herself and serve the purpose of getting company at the same time, Lady Titis laughed very funny stories. Dieria herself seemed a little shy of exposing herself to shame, but I don't feel anything unpleasant from Master Titis's laughter. Seems to see it as just a failure.

"I see. Did you become one of them in that way? It's a strange thing to be on the edge of a person."

The atmosphere on the ground is considerably softer than it was initially. I wasn't sure if Dieria did it for me, but this is also because of her. With each other's mouths lightened, we kept forgetting time and talking about events during the journey, battles in the rich and demonic realms, and the training content of the training center. And when I realized, there were multiple signs of coming closer here. No hostility, no killing. But just in case, when I turned my gaze only, the people I had seen were approaching me.

"Hey, it's been a while."

"Long time no see! I was fine!?

"I'm out of time"

If you think of someone, the people who made the cut to come to our country - the bandits, the brave ones. I was supposed to see you later, but why bother during a visit with Her Majesty the Queen? There seems to be something wrong with this......
