Heroes of Marvel

Chapter 11: Fans?

By the time Lin Rui climbed the roof to his bedroom again, it was almost 3: 00 a.m., and Lin Rui, who had retracted her phantom suit and lay on the bed, was very tired but mentally unusually excited.

Lin Rui didn't expect such a huge gain from the temporary operation tonight. Looking at the main task that has reached 25100 degrees of completion in mind, Lin Rui felt that a few more actions tonight would complete the task. Of course, today happened to meet the Justons cleaning up the land, otherwise Lin Rui wouldn't have made such a big difference.

“I said," System, what will you reward me for when this mission is complete? "” Lin Rui, unable to sleep while lying in bed, asked in his mind that tonight's action was over and the system could come out and chat with itself.

“I don't know. I don't own this.” As before, the system really doesn't seem to have much control over Lin Rui's mainline tasks, as if it's just a generation of tasks and rewards.

“Really? But I'm sure it won't be bad, after all, the beginner's assignment as a street hero was well rewarded.” There was no answer here in the system, Lin Rui answered herself.

“Well, I guess so.” The system responded faintly.

I noticed that there seemed to be something wrong with the tone of the system. Lin Rui looked back from his wonderful fantasies, "hey? Something's wrong with you today? There's something wrong since I turned you down. You're not mad at me, are you? ”

“No." The tone of the system did not change slightly, it was still as plain as ever, but Lin Rui could feel the change, and seemed a little more apathetic.

“Otherwise, you're giving me some assignments. Aren't you the one who likes to tease me the most about small tasks like the old days?” Though I don't know why the system will change, Lin Rui decided to put it together first. For the system, Lin Rui is both loving and hating, and Lin Rui already sees it as part of his body.

“You've started the main task, and I don't need to publish any more meaningless little tasks. And those dozens of reward points don't matter to you now. As for torturing you, the previous decade has been enough.” Without the small task that Lin Rui wanted, the system seems to have really decided not to torment Lin Rui anymore.

“Hey, you can't say that, mosquito legs are meat even if they're small! Besides, without your little assignments, my childhood would be boring!” See that the system is getting serious, but Lin Rui's heart is a little panicked, he hastily said.

“Oh, boring, that's the life you always wanted.” It seemed like a big joke was heard, and the system laughed a little.

“System, are you sure you're okay?” Lin Rui couldn't help but ask seriously again.

However, the system did not answer any more. In Lin Rui's mind, that means the bright white light of the system flashed a few times and disappeared into his mind.

“System! System!” Whatever Lin Rui shouted in his mind, the light no longer appeared, and he seemed to have no intention of talking to him any more.

“System, what's wrong with you?” Lin Rui was very confused when he saw the light disappear.

Then, thinking about the system changes, Lin Rui, as usual, practiced "Dragon Teng Gong" while slowly sleeping. Because Lin Rui can practice kung fu in his sleep, this ensures that he has sufficient spirit during the day, which he was unable to do before. Suffice it to say that Lin Rui was advised to take the practice to strengthen his own path.

The next day, when Lin Rui arrived at school on a bike with a trembling spirit, he found that the classmates were all together to discuss what was going on.

“Hey, Tom, what are you talking about?” Sitting in his seat, Lin Rui asked directly Tom, who was having a good conversation with his sister.

“Jackson, you're here!” Tom, who was brought here by Lin Ruila, smiled and greeted him.

“Well, tell me what you're talking about, as if everyone's interested.” Lin Ruiqi asked curiously, he always felt that what you were discussing seemed to have a slight relationship with yourself, which was a strange psychological suggestion.

“Don't you know? We seem to have another great street hero on the streets of New York!” Seems surprised by Lin Rui's question, Tom answered seriously.

“New street hero?! It won't be...” Lin Rui hearted a move. They can't be talking about themselves!

“Yes, this new street hero only showed up last week. He seemed to be out only at night, fighting some bandits and thieves and street gangsters who did bad things. But he seemed to have done something big last night!” Speaking of which, Tom suddenly got excited.

“What did he do?” Though it is certain that Tom is speaking for himself, Lin Rui is curious as to what step they have learned.

“He's dealing with a dozen good guys from the Justons on his own. That's the Justons! The biggest gangster in New York, the Frankenstein gang, who dared to go to their trouble! Without saying how strong he is, it's already impressive!” Tom is already admired for speaking here, and this mysterious street hero always gets extra attention from ordinary people.

“Oh, okay.” Shaking his head, Lin Rui said modestly.

“What's up!? You probably don't even know what the Jestons and Frankenstein are!” Tom was somewhat unhappy to see Lin Rui's lack of interest in his new favourite street hero.

“Uh... well, I admit, he's good, okay!” I didn't expect that one day I would be struck by friends because of myself. Lin Rui was very helpless to say it.

“That's it!” He nodded with satisfaction, and Tom went back to talk to his classmates about the glorious story of that mysterious street hero.

Lin Rui, he sat in his seat and watched his classmates around him become his “fans.” It wasn't until Peter and Harry entered the classroom that Lin Rui felt he might be able to talk to someone about something normal. But when Lin Rui saw Peter walking directly into Tom's circle, he completely petrified. Spider-Man also became his own little pussy, something like this that might be shown off later.

“Hey, Jackson, have you heard? The new street hero thing?” Peter went to Tom and their side, but Harry came to Lin Rui and asked him with a smile.

“I didn't know, but look at them.” Lin Rui pointed to Tom and Peter, laughing helplessly.

“Street heroes always get some attention, and he's got the Frankenstein family involved.” Speaking of the gangster family, even the Young Master of the Osborne Group, Harry's tone had to be cautious.

“Oh, maybe it's just a fear of death. But he's got the Jestons in trouble. Will they spread the word about it? And how do they know that the street hero who got in trouble with them last night is the same person?” Lin Rui thought of more when he talked to a large, calm family master like Harry.

In other words, Lin Rui's original reputation was not much, and only some of the guys he saved or taught him a lesson knew he existed. But he only got into trouble with the Justons last night, and the next morning the school classmates knew, which is obviously not normal.

“Said a homeless man witnessed a battle over the idle area last night, dressed in a black suit hidden in the dark, hidden and quick, with strong melee power. These descriptions are easily linked to the guy who used to hit the groundhogs at night, and can be identified with a little association. ”

“However, I prefer the news that Juston helped himself out. There are a lot of homeless people in that area, but I don't think anyone would dare to pay attention to a fierce shootout.” Answering Lin Rui's two questions, Harry's angle is clearly different from that of Peter's “fans".

Lin Rui's heart was also thinking quickly when he heard Harry. He can be sure that there weren't many homeless people around last night fighting himself, so the news is that the Jestons have a good chance of getting out. Lin Rui wasn't surprised to hear from the two drug-dealing gangs last night, but they didn't escape at all last night. Lin Rui didn't believe the Juston gang would let them go.

“What's the point of doing this? Besides making this street hero famous?” Although Lin Rui felt Harry's analysis was correct, he still couldn't figure out why Juston did it.

“I don't know, maybe they're just trying to expose this guy who's got the guts to get in their way? Who knows?” I shook my head and Harry obviously wouldn't spend much time on this. An emerging street hero, even if he had so much to do with the Frankenstein family, wouldn't give Harry too much attention.

“Really? It's possible, though, that a passively exposed street hero would have difficulty trying to remain mysterious. Once the mystery cannot be maintained, the probability of being targeted is high.” Though Harry just said it casually, Lin Rui felt that the odds were high.

“I didn't expect you to be so interested in this street hero.” See Lin Rui analyzing the matter seriously, Harry said with a smile.

“Ha ha! Just checking it out.” Waving and waving haha, Lin Rui said he was not a “fan”.

At the end of the conversation between Lin Rui and Harry, the class bells finally came to mind, and the classmates gathered to talk about Lin Rui returned to their seats. Lin Rui looked at excited Tom and Peter, but what about that weird little pride in his heart!?
