Chapter 20 Matt Missing!

Lin Rui has been waiting to hear from Night Demon ever since he made his alliance that night. However, he did not receive any reply until Friday. Though he was in a bit of a hurry, Lin Rui did not call to ask again. He trusted that Night Warrior would make arrangements.

“Hey, Jackson, any plans this weekend?” At the end of the week, Tom walked along the way to school with Lin Rui's shoulder to ask.

“Well, I'm going to the Horn Daily this weekend, and you know it.” Lin Rui answered the order.

“Ah, yes! What about you, Peter?” Thinking of Lin Rui finding himself a part-time job, Tom turned to Peter on the other side.

“I'm going to Harry's company, and he promised to introduce me to an associate professor of bioengineering, hoping that the associate professor would make me his assistant intern.” Peter then called on Harry to help, though just to introduce him, but with Peter's grades and efforts he should be fine.

“Ah!? Are you going to intern too?” Tom was surprised to hear what Peter said. They've only been in high school for half a semester. Why are all these friends around him thinking about internships one by one?

“There is still a difference between assistant interns and interns, but you can understand that as well.” Peter didn't explain too much to Tom, either, answering casually.

“Harry certainly doesn't have to say that, as a young master of Osborne, he thought he should be getting into contact with the company. In that case, I'm the only one who's free now!” Speaking of which, Tom discovered that he had unwittingly been pulled apart by everyone, Lin Rui had already found their way into the future while he was still thinking about having fun in high school. With this in mind, Tom was unconsciously depressed again.

Lin Rui and Peter did not find Tom next to them suddenly not talking, and they had their own minds at the moment. Lin Rui was wondering if he would hear from Matt tonight, and the weekend report to the Horn Daily went well. Peter, on the other hand, was worried that the associate professor of the Osborne Group would accept himself as an assistant intern, and if he succeeded, he would see Gwen at work.

If Lin Rui didn't focus too much on their own affairs at this time, they would have found Tom in an unusual mood. Of course, even if they found out, they wouldn't feel anything. After all, everyone is different and they are not responsible for the lives of others. As such, Lin Rui and others returned home with all their minds. This weekend will be an inactive vacation.

After dinner, Lin Rui went back to his room and left his phone on the table. If he had any information or a call, he would see it the first time. And then he turned on the computer and started searching for Tony? Stark, the Frankenstein family, the Justons, even Wilson? Fisk has news of the Russian mob. Lin Rui has been doing these things for almost a week, but they have not yielded much.

Tony's news is a big push online, because he doesn't give a shit about people's stories about him. Where to go to the party every day, which girl to chat with for more than five minutes, and which star to disappear with at night, these messages can be detailed to every minute and every second. However, there is no help for Lin Rui.

As for the rest, there is not much news, and the Frankenstein family is a brightly historical aristocratic family, and the information on the Internet is just plain introductory. While some accusations against the family can be found in some corners, comprehensive information cannot be produced.

The Juston Gang has some introductions, but it's just a gang in New York that doesn't involve their home base and some trading locations and content.

Wilson? Fisk, Kim and Lin Rui, accidentally didn't find a little bit of information about him on the internet, so to speak, he was hiding too much. There is also very little information about the Russian mob, and it is impossible to find effective information to rely solely on the online masses, after all, there is no such amazing group as the Chaoyang masses in the United States.

After turning more than a dozen pages, Lin Rui's gaze still hadn't harvested. He looked at the phone on the table again and hoped it would move a little.

Buzz! Buzz!

Lin Rui's strong expectations seemed to work. The phone on the table suddenly began to vibrate, and a phone came!

Brush!

Reaching for the hand room, Lin Rui has quickly grabbed the phone. There is no time to look at the electricity display, Lin Rui's next second has been pressed on.

“Hey, Matt? You finally called me!” Once connected, Lin Rui couldn't wait to talk about it. He's been waiting almost a week, and if he hasn't heard from me tonight, he's all set to go to Manhattan to find Matt.

“... hello, I'm not Matt.” However, after a slight silence on the other end of the phone, a strange female voice was heard.

“Uh... wait! Who are you?” Lin Rui stunned to make sure he heard correctly and quickly looked down at the number. It wasn't Matt's, so he asked surprisingly.

“My name is Claire. I'm a friend of Matt's. I also know Matt's other identity, and I need your help.” At a time when Lin Rui was confused, the woman at the end of the phone quickly introduced herself and indicated that she needed help.

“You know who Matt is?! What happened, Claire?” Lin Rui suddenly got nervous when he heard the woman on the phone. A man who knows Matt's other identity, a man who encounters things to find someone who needs his help, then, needless to say, Matt is in trouble.

“It's Matt, I haven't heard from him in two days! There was no one in the basement, there was no place where he used to heal his wounds, and I was worried about what happened to him. This phone call Matt gave me the other day, saying that if something happened to him, he could call for help.” Sure enough, Claire on the other end of the phone quickly said something about what happened to her.

“Matt's missing?! Was it because something happened to me when I was collecting information about the Jestons?” Listening to Claire, Lin Rui's eyebrows wrinkled together and thought, this is the most likely scenario.

“Can you help me? I don't know who to turn to anymore!” Claire on the other side of the phone was anxious to ask when Lin Rui was a little silent. As one of the few people who knew Matt's other identity, Claire was worried about Matt.

“Don't worry, I'll help you. I'll find Matt. Whatever happens to him, I'll bring him back. All you have to do now is calm down, search carefully for clues before Matt disappears, and let me know if you find anything.” Feeling Claire's apprehension, Lin Rui hastily promised. Whether Matt is in trouble for his own reasons or not, Lin Rui won't let go. They are allies now!

“Thank you! I don't want you to disappear. ”

“You too! ”

Hanging up the phone, Lin Rui has quickly thought about it. Matt disappeared for two days, and that was the day after he investigated the Juston Gang. If he had been caught at that time, the situation would have been bad, provided that he had not been killed directly.

Lin Rui, of course, thought Matt would not die so easily. He was a street hero in Marvel World. The hero Halo would cover him. But Lin Rui doesn't know, because of his appearance, Night Demon's main character Halo may not be as powerful anymore. After all, according to the original script, the Night Demons don't mess with the Justons.

“System, do you have any special prop recommendations to help you find someone?” After a little thought in my mind, Lin Rui called the system for help.

Brush!

Lin Rui's voice had just fallen, and a green light came out of the system store in his head. Then the voice of the system came out: "The Alliance Arm Medal, the bronze arm badge given mysterious magic, possesses magical abilities. Worth 100 Reward Points. Are you sure you want to redeem? ”

Whoo!

The next moment, the green light scattered, revealing a metal object the size of a slap inside, a narrowed armrest with a point of radius in one direction, but a bit like a prop in the scene of the Euro-American medieval war.

“OK!” Haven't figured out the effect of this badge yet, Lin Rui already bought it. He's not very wealthy right now, but a hundred points won't be stingy.

Brush!

The next moment, the Allies' arms in his mind had dissipated into a dot of fluorescence. And in reality, the fluorescence converged on his right arm, slowly forming a small guard arm.

“How do you use this? System." Looking at the guard arm automatically equipped to the body, Lin Rui then asked the system.

“The Alliance Arm is a magical item that can help you find your Alliance in a special way. All you have to do now is let it know that Matt is your ally, and it will show where Matt is right now.” I also know that Lin Rui is in a hurry right now, and the system quickly explains how to use the lower arm.

“How does it know that Matt and I are allies? ”

“Simply put the card that Matt gave you before. It's easy to bind identities with just one item belonging to an ally.” The system went on to remind.

“Okay!” Lin Rui quickly found Matt's card when he heard the system. Fortunately, he didn't throw it away, otherwise there's no way.

Whoo!

Place the card directly on the arm of the right arm, Lin Rui stared at it nervously, waiting for a subsequent change.

Buzz ~ buzz ~

Without disappointing Lin Rui, after the card had just touched the guard arm, a faint green light appeared on the otherwise bleak arm, quickly connecting to the card. The situation lasted for a few seconds, after which the green light retracted and the business card slipped off the arm.

“Is that all right?” Looking at the armrest, Lin Rui asked again.

Whoo!

Without waiting for the system to answer, motion came out again on the armrest. There were a few ripples on the surface of what was supposed to be metal, like running water, and then the ripples disappeared and the entire arm became as smooth as a TV display. At this point, there are two green dots on this display, one bright and the other faint.

“The green dot represents your ally, and if you feel it, you'll know where Matt is now.” The system is on the sidelines with timely reminders.

“Got it!” Following a reminder from the system, Lin Rui quickly found out where Matt was through his armrest, and also knew that he was not doing well at the moment.

Brush!

In the next second, Lin Rui has equipped the phantom set to rush out the window. Operation Night Warrior, officially begun!
