Heroes of Marvel
Chapter 32: Angry Tony
Boom!
The state-of-the-art intensive care unit at Stark Industries Private Hospital, with its doors brutally pushed open, with a gloomy face on Tony? Stark walked right in.
“I'm gonna kill those guys!” Seeing Pep being examined on the bed, Stark did not hide his anger and shouted out loud.
Tony couldn't stand it when someone dared to shoot Pep. Though Tony has been dealing with beautiful women of all colors, he knows in his heart his final destination, which is Pep. He can't imagine what Pep would do if something really happened.
“Tony, I'm fine! You don't have to be so nervous!” Seeing Tony so angry about what happened to him, Pep said warmly and hastily. She can't let a crazy Tony? Stark goes to those guys and doesn't know who's gonna lose.
“Doctor, how is she? Are you hurt?” With a slight relaxation, Tony looked at his personal doctor and asked.
“Miss Pepper's right, she's fine. It was just a walk barefoot on the ground, some scratches, nothing else.” Hearing Tony's interrogation, Dr. Weiss, who had already been examined, replied with a smile.
“Look! Am I right? I'm really fine. The attackers didn't even touch me.” With the doctor's support, Peppe's words finally relaxed Tony.
Whoo!
A few steps to the hospital bed and sit down, Tony grabbed Pep's hand, "I'm glad you're okay, otherwise I really don't know what to do. ”
People always think of cherishing when they're about to lose something, and Tony is in the mood. The Hollywood stars I've dated, one after the other, are the only ones Pep's never left. Perhaps it's time for Tony to see his heart.
“Don't worry, I'll be fine.” The first time Tony showed such sincere feelings for himself, the wall that Pep had been building slowly cracked open.
“By the way, I have something to tell you.” Dr. Weiss had left intellectually long before Tony sat beside the bed, when there were only Pep and Tony left in the room, and Pep remembered the simple request of the young intern journalist who saved his own life.
“Well, Jarvis, now you're taking over all the electronic systems in this room.” Tony's eyes flashed when he heard Pep say that.
“No problem, Mr. Tony.” Jarvis responded quickly and it had taken over all the electronic systems in the room.
“Well, what are you talking about? Is it related to the people who attacked you today?” It wasn't until Jarvis responded that Tony asked seriously that Pep had to be cautious about the attack.
“Well, say it's okay. You know, I was the target of those well-trained assailants, and if it wasn't for Range, I probably wouldn't be here right now.” I didn't expect Tony to be so serious, Pep sorted it out. Ranch, the driver who escaped with Pep, is now being treated in the ICU, but his life is not threatened.
“I know I'll give Range a lot of health insurance money.” Nodded, Tony said seriously. Except for a very few, Tony really doesn't have much feelings for the others.
“But you know what? When I got out of the car, the attackers came, and just as I was about to be discovered, a young man showed up and helped me.” After hearing Tony say he was going to shake Lange's head for a fortune, Pep continued.
“Well, a sudden appearance of a young man? You didn't tell those cops that.” Tony looked serious when he heard about it.
“Yes, it was a young intern journalist who interviewed me at the end of my meeting today. Of course, the interview was with your floral news, the Hollywood stars and all that.” Speaking of which, Pep took a look at Tony.
“Hey, hey! I just had dinner with her and talked.” Tony was embarrassed to explain that, of course, Pep wouldn't believe it and say otherwise.
“This young man, who seems to be a fan of yours, helped me lead the attackers into the alley and eventually left before the police arrived. Without his help, I wouldn't have stuck with the police.” Simply put, Lin Rui helped herself, and Pep felt it was necessary to thank the young man well.
“My fans? I didn't know I could have such a big impact on young people right now!” Tony's first reaction was unbelievable when he heard Pep.
Tony didn't disbelieve what Pep said, he just didn't believe it was going to be such a coincidence. Pep happened to be attacked and someone showed up to help her. There are too many doubts about the fact that only one person has led to a trained attacker.
“Do you think that young man is untrustworthy?” Tony already knew what he was thinking from the tone of his speech, Pep asked somewhat unhappily. She didn't think Lin Rui had a purpose. The attackers tried so hard to catch themselves that there was no need to come out like this again.
“No, just don't you think it's too coincidental? You said he interviewed you at the end of your meeting, so how did he end up right next to you when you were attacked? Coincidentally, it may not be too strong, but I prefer that he follow you all the time.” Instead of saying directly that Lin Rui was not credible, Tony pointed out the doubts in the matter.
“This...” Pep also felt a little strange when he heard Tony. Was the young man really one of those attackers, or was he following himself?
“Did he say he was a fan of mine?” See that Pep has already started thinking, Tony asks again.
“Well, he said he admired you and wanted me to introduce him to you, and I promised.” Pep answered honestly.
“Want to meet me? If that's the case... maybe they're not one of them.” Tony overturned Lin Rui's idea of joining those attackers when he heard about it.
Tony now thinks maybe that intern reporter represents another force, trying to get online with himself through Pepper. It has to be said that Tony is a genius, and soon came up with the key. Lin Rui did want to approach Tony through Pep, but he had no organization or power behind him, he was the only one.
“By the way, he gave me a gift before he left, like a little pendant or something.” Pep suddenly remembered something and let go of Tony's hand and started looking up by the bed.
“Well, did he give you something? What is it?” When Pep heard that the man had given her something, Tony suddenly got nervous again, and he was worried that something was wrong with it.
“Here!” After a while on the side of the bed, Pep found that peculiar plant weave in his own clothes.
“This is what the young man gave me before he left. Looks like a pendant-style handicraft because the police were already here and I didn't put it away very carefully.” Pep handed Tony that pendant as he spoke.
“A simple plant handicraft? Why would I give you this as a gift?” Take Friar's talisman from Lin Rui to Pep and watch carefully, Tony mumbling indistinctly.
He's not worried about the toxin on this gift right now, because Dr. Weiss has already done a full test on Pep, and if there's any signs of poisoning, it'll be discovered first thing. Is it really just a fan of mine, or what is the implication of this gift? Tony pinched Friar's talisman and thought to himself.
“Pep, can I have this gift first? I'm going to do some checks on it.” Tony, who couldn't think of anything at the moment, told Pep that he couldn't be relieved if he didn't figure it out.
“Sure, but I don't think you can find anything from this. I still don't believe the young man who saved me will be what you think, maybe he's really just one of your fans?” Pep promised, but expressed his confidence in Lin Rui.
“I hope so, too. By the way, do you know his name?” Though Tony thinks the guy might have hidden his identity, or used a pseudonym and a pseudonym, Tony might have found something from it.
“Yes, I also know which newspaper he works for.” When Tony spoke, Pepper responded hastily.
“Hmm?” Tony had a little accident. Isn't he really afraid to expose himself?
“His name is Jackson, and he's an intern reporter for The Horn Daily. Because he was the first to interview me at the time, and he looked so young, I looked at his press card, and that's what it said.” Pep said what he knew.
“Jackson, The Horn Daily? I'll look into it. If he's really just a fan of mine, I think I'd be happy to meet him.” Keep Pep's words in mind, Tony said with a smile.
“Really? I thought you were only passionate about those beautiful fans?” Pep choked on Tony.
Tony: “…” It's really time to converge!
……
Just as Tony and Pep were talking about that mysterious young man in the intensive care unit, the Stark Industrial Building belonged to Obadiah? Stan, the CEO's office, was hearing a loud bang, as if something had fallen to the ground.
Whoo!
“A bunch of useless things! You can't even do that!” Sitting on the couch in a gloomy face, Obadiah drank a low sentence.
Obaday was just trying to hurt Pep a little, get away with the company for a while, so that he could better maneuver himself inside the company, override Tony's rights. But the guys he sent couldn't even do that, knowing that Pep had nothing to do with his relationship with Tony.
“Tony, however, gave Pep a month's leave because of the attack. It's not entirely about staying out of the business, but it's a lot better than it is now.” Obadiah's face slowly improved when he thought of his purpose as part of it.
“Tony? Stark, next time you won't be so lucky! ”
