Chapter 39 Goodbye Tony? Stark! Referral ticket!

New York Signature Building, Stark Industrial Building, Tony? In Stark's office.

“Tony, this military order is important to us. The military has already named you for demonstration. Can't you say that at this juncture?” Obadiah? Stan, Tony's good uncle is sitting across from his desk seriously persuading him.

Because Pep had an accident not long ago, Tony finally knew he couldn't lose this beautiful woman who really knew she loved herself. So now he wants to push the trip to the Middle East away and stay in New York with Pep. But Tony's trip to the Middle East was an important part of Obadiah's plan, and he couldn't let it happen, so when he found out what Tony was up to, he came and persuaded him.

“Uncle Stan, it's just a military arms purchase. I think you'd be great if they needed a weighty guy. The CEO of Stark Industries, that name should be enough.” With a glass of wine in his hand, Tony doesn't care.

“But this is not a simple arms purchase; what they will be purchasing is our latest missile strike system. Besides, my position is no higher than Tony's? Stark's name. Want to take this big military order, not you.” Obadiah shook his head when he heard Tony say it.

“But Pep...”

“The attack on Miss Peppe was truly surprising, but the police are already fully investigating. Besides, you've arranged for Miss Peppe to have the tightest security detail. I believe her safety is still assured, and I will pay more attention to that when you go to the Middle East.” Before Tony was finished, Obadiah interrupted him and patted Miss Pepper on the chest to keep her safe.

“That said, it's always an accident.” Tony has obviously been moved, and the key is that he did put Pep under very tight security, and the last time it happened, it couldn't have happened again. But he's still worried about Pep, and that's what happened when Tony recognized his inner emotions.

Phew ~

“Tony, you've been giving me a month off. I don't go anywhere but my company and home every day, and if that happens to me, I don't think the president of the country is so safe!” Just as Tony was arguing, Pep walked in from the side and said,

These days Pep really felt Tony's concern for her, as seen from the layers of protection. But as a capable woman in the new century, Pep doesn't really feel he needs Tony so tightly protected.

“Pep, what if those attackers show up again? I was worried...” I reached up and held up Pep's little hand and Tony was worried.

“It's okay. Don't you have any confidence in the security you set up? Or do you think you can keep me safe? You have to be there for this military order, and I can't let the company lose this list for my reasons.” Squeezed Tony's hand, Pep said faintly.

“But…”

“Tony, Miss Peppe is right. You've already promised the military. If you regret it now, you won't give it to the military. You know, we're not the only Starks in the country doing military business.” After Pep's persuasion, Obadiah went on to say the point.

“Now that you've all said that, if I insist, it would be too embarrassing for you. Well, I agree to the original itinerary, next month to the Middle East.” Finally, under the persuasion of Obadiah and Pep, Tony agreed to go to the Middle East to personally demonstrate to the military the new missile system produced by Stark Industries.

“Well, I'm sure you're quite right about that decision.” When Tony finally gave up his stay in New York, Obadiah was breathing in his heart.

“Need another drink?” Taking Tony's empty cup away, Pep asked with a smile.

“Exactly what I wanted. ”

“Then you can talk. I have to go first.” Nor was he going to stay here as a light bulb, and Obaday stood up knowledgeably to say goodbye.

“Mm-hmm." Tony waved.

“Sir, Mr. Jackson is here.” Just after Obadei got up and took two steps outside, the room heard a slightly mechanical sound from Jarvis, suggesting that Tony had a visitor.

“Jackson? Oh, it's that little guy, bring him up.” When he heard Jarvis' voice, Tony first stunned, then remembered who Jackson was, and then asked him to take Jackson with him.

“Jackson? Tony, who is this?” Obadiah, who was going to leave, heard this strange name stop and asked.

Of course, Obadiah already knew who Jackson was, and after all, he didn't knowingly hide it from anyone the last time Tony invited Lin Rui here. Now he's just pretending he doesn't know, trying to figure out what Tony has to do with this seemingly ordinary little guy. Obadiah is easily distorted by the age of Lin Rui and Tony's history of the wind.

“Oh, just a smart little friend. Uncle Stan, don't you have something else to do?” With a simple explanation, Tony reached for the guest.

“Well, I'll be off first.” His face was a little embarrassed, and Obadiah turned around silently and left.

But the more unexplained Tony is, the more Obadiah finds it catty. Perhaps you should do some more research yourself. Turning away Obadiah thought silently in his heart.

Tony in the chair didn't know what Obaday was thinking, and if he did, he might laugh at his stomach. His uncle's brain hole was too big. And Lin Rui, who is on his way, certainly won't know what others think of him. He has important things to do this time around.

Ding ~

Shortly after Obaday left, the elevator to Tony's office rose and slowly opened. Jackson, Lin Rui, walked into Tony's office with James' editor-in-chief's brand of official reporter.

“Hey, Jackson, I thought it was gonna be a long time before I saw you again!” Peppe came out from behind with red wine and said hello with a smile to Lin Rui.

“Miss Pepper, you're even prettier than I saw you the other day!” Showing a very sunny smile, Lin Rui praised Pep with no stint. Women, especially beautiful women like Pep, are always the most popular compliments.

“Thank you!” Pep laughed and walked over to Tony when he heard Lin Rui's praise.

“Huh! Jackson, haven't you been an official journalist in a few days? Does your boss know you're Tony already? Did Stark interview the reporter?” Though Lin Rui is a 16-year-old, 7-year-old young man, Tony doesn't like it when he says Pep is pretty in front of himself. Especially Lin Rui, who is quite handsome, now women like this young sunny little meat.

“Mr. Stark, while I'd love to let you know about this, it's better to keep it a secret for the time being. After all, I have not yet done what an interview reporter should have done.” Walked to Tony with a smile, Lin Ruifeng said.

“Well, why?” Tony asks curiously, did he think Lin Ri would turn himself into Tony the day he left? Stark's interview reporter told everyone about it.

“Because I haven't officially interviewed you yet. Besides, I'd like to dig some raw materials.” Lin Rui's eyes answered seriously.

“Oh, what do you want to dig from me? I can tell you what's real and what's fake.” Smile softly, Tony shakes the red wine Pep just poured into the glass.

“Mr. Tony, don't you want me to sit down? That's not the treatment of an interview reporter.” Without answering Tony's words immediately, Lin Rui stood in front of him and asked.

“Well, have a seat. I thought you'd be welcome.” Arrogant Tony, that's why I asked Lin Rui to sit down.

Phew ~

“As I said last time, I'm not interested in Mr. Stark's fancy news. Besides, I don't think any of those fancy news will show up in the future.” Lin Rui smiled and said, sweeping Pep standing next to Tony.

“That's true. But besides that, what else do you want to dig?” Tony didn't explain how Lin Rui saw the progress of his relationship with Pep, then asked.

“Now that the Flower News is gone, of course I'm going to focus on Stark Industries itself. I myself am actually very interested in the new type of energy that Mr. Tony has been studying, and I do not know what Mr. Tony has to say in this regard. Also, I heard that the military will be buying a large new weapon again recently, and I wonder how much Stark Industries has divided among them?” With a positive face, Lin Rui asked Tony across the street as if he were in an official interview.

……

After Lin Rui asked those two questions, the large office suddenly quieted down, as if the air had solidified.

“Looks like you're a very good reporter. But are you sure the two questions you asked fit into your Horn Daily?” A little silence, Tony looked at Lin and asked faintly.

“Anyway, they didn't know I could interview Mr. Stark, so let's just say I wanted to know the questions myself. Perhaps, when the time is right, I will release these as fertilizers.” Lin Rui pulled a little book and a pen out of her arms, and she answered without saying anything.

In fact, Lin Rui didn't just come here today to interview Tony as a reporter. Because of his long memory, Lin Rui can't remember when Tony went to the Middle East and when his miniature ark reactor was built. He only had to figure out these circumstances to make some responses later. After all, these were related to the birth of Iron Man, which is why Lin Rui asked both questions.

“You have a very good eye. With regard to the development of new energy sources, as I said at the previous New York Science and Technology Conference, the Ark reactor, as a new type of controllable energy source, will gradually phase out today's mainstream energy sources. ”

“As for what you said about military procurement of new types of weapons, this involves a level of confidentiality, which I don't think you have enough.” Tony answered Lin Rui's words briefly, but he didn't say anything.

Brush ~

“Well, I know that. I am also convinced that the Ark Reactor is the best new energy source available, but the space and financial resources of a large enterprise that installs it cannot be afforded, and I wonder if Mr. Tony has made any progress recently. And I've also learned that the Osborne Group's bioenergy seems to have made some breakthroughs recently, and perhaps soon we'll see a new, more optimized bioenergy source.” I wrote a few words in the book, and Lin Rui looked up at Tony's faint words.
