Then a punch came in front of Captain Rogers, flashing cold metal on his left arm enough to injure a super soldier like Captain America.

Steve didn't panic when the shield broke off. He didn't just rely on a piece of equipment like the shield! He won't be afraid of anyone with his bare hands. Steve's arms crossed in front of his chest when his head burst through the metal fist.
