Captain Rogers, also based at S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters in Washington, received news from Tony just as Magneto was preparing to attack Stryker's home camp with elite members of the Brotherhood of the Mutants. Tony and the Phantom Knight came to the fore in Mandal's recent attack on Iron Man, and Rogers had no intention of intervening after Tony's high-profile announcement of revenge against Mandal.
