Chapter 686: Beyond the Space Portal

Buzz ~

The space portal in front of you still stands steadily there without any change, and Banner is helpless looking at the rope that has been broken on his suit. Banner through the portal is not surrounded by an infinite cosmic sky, but by a dimly lit wilderness. This wilderness is riddled with hills and rocks that are deep black and distinct from the Earth's environment.

In addition to the vast desert plains in front of us, Banner also saw the drones that had been sent before near the space portal. With the exception of a few, which are still working, almost all of the rest are parked somewhere, apparently out of order. There are other drones that don't know what happened, like a hit by a rock and parts scattered all over the place.

“It's really hard to get so much information back in this situation!” After seeing what was happening in front of us, Banner had to exclaim.

While Banner does not yet know what is strange here and why the drones are out of control or directly into parts, his determination to explore this strange place will not change, even though the rope behind him has been broken. However, before beginning to explore this strange place, Banner walked to the nearest drone beside him and threw it into the space portal behind him after a while.

The rope that connects us from Earth has broken, and Banner certainly knows that those who wait there will be very worried. So he needs to get a message back so they don't worry too much. And Banner doesn't feel anything threatening him right now.

After the drone that had left its message disappeared into the space portal, Banner pressed down a bit of a grumpy mood and stopped taking care of the drones around him who were still trying to do their job, simply cleaning up the rope that broke behind him, and started his planned actions.

“Gravity and Earth are different, but they are not very different, about a little over three times the size of Earth… Imaging instruments all seem to have been affected in a particular way by the inability to take clear photographs…" Dr. Banner, who started his own action, quickly entered the role of a scientist, excluding other influences to focus on doing his own thing.

However, Dr. Banner, who studied the surrounding environment carefully around the space portal, did not know that the wilderness was not as barren as he had imagined, and some of these black mountain stones were hidden from the silent observation of this carefully researched man. However, since many of the features of the protective clothing on Banner had been inexplicably broken by the transmission, he could not detect what was happening around him at all.

……

“Captain! You can't go over there!” Just as Dr. Banner began his work as if nothing had happened, Natasha was stopping at Captain Rogers' face at the Earth's space portal.

The rope connecting Banner broke less than a minute ago, and Rogers was ready to go through the space portal to find him. However, they have “lost” a Bruce Banner, and how is it possible now to let the captain of the United States, who presides over the big picture, take another risk? So, very sensible Natasha stopped right in front of Rogers.

And the Falcons and Eagle Eyes standing behind Rogers didn't say anything, but if Rogers really wanted to go over there, they would obviously have stopped him. After so much experience, S.H.I.E.L.D. finally stabilized, and now it's a period of steady growth, they can't take so many risks to sacrifice Captain America.

“Natasha, you can't stop me!” Seeing Natasha, the black widow who stopped herself in front of her, Rogers spoke seriously.

“Rogers, even if we were to send someone to save Dr. Banner, it shouldn't be you.” Listen to Rogers, Natasha won't let you talk.

“I strongly invited Dr. Banner back, and now he's out of touch as a criminal, and no one else is qualified to go there except me!“ Rogers certainly doesn't want anyone else to take any more risks, which is his responsibility.

”Captain Rogers, it may not be ten minutes before Dr. Banner is here.“ Just as Rogers was about to rush into the space portal, Night Demon came from behind and persuaded him.

Dr. Banner personally insisted on entering the space portal, and the captain of the United States didn't stop him, either as an ally of the Alliance of Guardians or as an X-Men. And now that Dr. Banner is out of touch and pulling his rope is broken, the X-Men and the Guardian Coalition have little position to say whether to save or not. However, the Night Demon's identity allowed him to speak up in such circumstances.

“But this is obviously an accident. Wait a few more minutes. Don't know what's going to happen?” Rogers spoke with seriousness when he heard the Night Demon.

“That's true, but did Captain Rogers ever think about it? If something really happened over there, if you go back, you might never make it back together, so do you think it would be good for the situation?” Knowing the strong sense of responsibility in Rogers' heart made it impossible for him to give up Dr. Banner, although Night Demon persuaded him in a different way.

Rogers, as the head of S.H.I.E.L.D., is now very responsible, and besides Dr. Banner, he has S.H.I.E.L.D. as a whole. In addition to S.H.I.E.L.D., Rogers is now at the heart of the Alliance of Guardians with X-Men, and he must not be in trouble.

And after hearing these words from the Night Demon, Rogers finally calmed down. But he still won't give up rescuing Banner. So, in a minute, he's been sent directly into dozens of drones. If Dr. Banner's okay over there, he'll be able to get back through these drones. But Rogers will just wait ten minutes, and when the time comes, no one will be able to talk him out of it.

When!

And as the drones that Rogers sent were halfway in, a badly damaged drone suddenly flew out of the space portal, crashing into several drones queuing up ahead and falling at Rogers' feet.

Noting that the drone had fallen to its feet, Rogers glanced at it, and then reached out and picked it up, regardless of whether the drone was carrying a threat substance from the universe. Rogers finally took a long breath when he saw what the drone had brought back.

“Dr. Banner is fine for now! ”
