Chapter 701: The Hulk? Bruce Banner?
Contrary to what happened when Spider-Man and others saw the Hulk, S.H.I.E.L.D. Avengers like Rogers and Natasha were not surprised, but relieved. Now that the Hulk has appeared and squeezed the space portal back, they don't need to go through and rescue anyone, after all, the Hulk is Bruce Banner. As for what the Hulk might do to this base, that's perfectly acceptable.
“Spread out! Don't fight, don't show hostility, he's not our enemy!” After seeing the Hulk, Rogers had recovered from the accident just momentarily, then waved his hand to stop Spider-Man and others who would have made a move behind him.
If Lin Rui was really too busy or didn't think to tell Peter about Bruce Banner's relationship with the Hulk, American captain Steve Rogers preferred to hide the situation deliberately. On the one hand, Dr. Banner also did not want many people to know that there was a monster in their body, especially after the military had developed the residual test article. On the other hand, Rogers feels that S.H.I.E.L.D. should have the strength to hide in the dark, even in the face of its own allies.
Pfft!
But Rogers shouted a little slower, and a spider silk had been shot from behind him, gluing Hulk's big face. Only Spider-Man, a man who had never seen the Hulk mighty, would have made such a direct move. Others had seen the Hulk mighty, and even if Rogers hadn't stopped them, they wouldn't have done it at random.
Seeing this scene, Rogers had several invisible black lines hanging from his head. Behind him, Natasha, Eagle Eye and others revealed a very worrying look. If this blushing spider web provokes the Hulk, then S.H.I.E.L.D. 's temporary base, which was just built, is almost out of the question of keeping it. Angry Hulk, no one here can stop it, and Rogers obviously won't.
Pull!
In the tense eyes of Rogers and others, Hulk lifted his hand and pulled the spider silk off his face. Then he looked up at Peter Parker, the little spider hanging on the roof.
It was like being targeted by some floodbeast, and Peter stood up with sweat all over his body after the Hulk raised his head. Even in the advanced version of the Spider-Man suit, Peter doesn't feel very safe.
“Terrible!” Looking down at the Hulk, Peter muttered silently in his heart.
Peter's spider sensation didn't trigger, even though he was being watched by the big guy, which means there's no danger at the moment.
Sure enough, after looking at Spider-Man on the roof for a while, the Hulk didn't react much. Seems, in Hulk's view, that little bug up there has no interest whatsoever.
“Fine! Good!” Rogers was relieved to see that Hulk wasn't angry about Spider-Man's attack. But he didn't really think it was all right. The Hulk seemed normal at the time, and maybe the next second he was angry to dismantle the base.
“Hulk! It's time to rest!” Then, under the tense eye of everyone in this secret room, Hulk the Hulk spoke loudly.
Whoo!
And then, without Rogers' reaction, the Hulk had shrunk rapidly, and in seconds it had shrunk back to its normal human size, Bruce Banner. And when the Hulk disappeared and Bruce Banner showed up, the sober Dr. Banner ran to Rogers, very embarrassed, with his big pants about to fall.
“The situation over there is complicated, but temporarily solved by Hulk. But this space portal must be destroyed or sealed off, or the planet will be devastated!” Dr. Banner, who ran to Rogers with his big pants, did not care for the shocked look on the face of the others and spoke very quickly.
Rogers didn't hesitate to hear from Dr. Banner, but he waved his hand and quickly disbanded the team that was ready to follow him through the space portal, and then he issued several orders through the communications in his hand. Now that Dr. Banner has returned and said so, it is clear that the situation there is indeed very serious. For the sake of insurance, Rogers better do as Dr. Banner says.
“So it's you! You're the Hulk!” By the time Dr. Banner and Rogers had just finished talking, Jack, standing behind Rogers, had come forward pointing to Dr. Banner, who had only one big pant left, shouting out in surprise.
A few days ago, Jack watched the Phantom Knight fight with the Hulk. With the mighty strength of the Phantom Knight, he suffered a lot of injuries in the battle, so now Jack sees how shocked the Hulk has become Bruce Banner.
And this is when Jack realized that after that battle a few days ago, Mr. Stark's attitude was not so good, and finally this Dr. Banner unexpectedly apologized to the Phantom Knight. Turns out they already know who the Hulk is!
“Uh... that's me.” Seeing Jack get excited, Dr. Banner comes back a little embarrassed with his big pants.
Whoo!
“Jack, do you know this guy?” Spider-Man had also fallen off the roof at this time, asking strangely after hearing Jack.
When the Hulk returned to Dr. Banner, everyone else saw it, and Spider-Man Peter was even more surprised. Though this transformation is not the first, whether it's the vampires who first followed the Phantom Knight or the X-Men who followed them and the nearest desperate virus fighters, they can transform. Regardless, only Dr. Banner's transformation creates such a sense of crisis for Spider-Man.
“He's the big guy who hurt the Phantom Knight, but the Phantom Knight should have known it was him.” Jack simply answered Peter's question.
“Turns out that big guy is him! Dr. Bruce Banner!” When Jack answered Peter's question, other people who didn't know about the relationship between Hulk and Dr. Banner listened carefully, and they were sure after Jack said it.
“Did he hurt the Phantom Knight?!” When he heard Jack's answer, Peter didn't care why he was transformed, what he cared about was that the guy in front of him hurt his best friend.
“Spider-Man, Jack, this is not the time to discuss this, there are some things I'll tell you later. And your Phantom Knight knows what's going on, and you can ask him. As for now, we have to take care of this portal first! This is an unprecedented danger to the planet!” Rogers hastily reminded Spider-Man and Jack of a bit of an intriguing sense of guilt.
