Heroes of Marvel

Chapter 941: Draft Closure

After visiting Mike, Johnny and Rossan followed Sheriff Hall and Agent Edward to the local police station to coordinate the investigation. Johnny and Rossan, however, were puzzled that Sheriff Hall's attitude towards them did not at all resemble that of the suspects who had killed the three victims. Rossan clearly remembers that Sheriff Hall was very tough when he asked himself about Johnny's disappearance.

“Please have a seat, there is coffee and ice water.” After Johnny and Rossan were invited to the interrogation room, Sheriff Hall reached out and asked them to sit down, laughing and greeting each other.

Johnny and Rossan sat in the interrogation room in very confusing circumstances. However, they did not target coffee or iced water on the table. Perhaps Sheriff Hal is just pretending to be nice to them right now, just to wait and set them up.

“It's okay to invite you both here, it's just a simple follow-up investigation. Mr. Johnny, that locomotive license plate we found in the course of our investigation was yours, but we've ruled you out.” Looking at Johnny and Rossan on alert, Sheriff Hall smiled and said.

After Falcon and Rogers had made another video call, he had spoken back to Sheriff Hal. Whatever the situation is on Johnny's side, Sheriff Hall just needs to keep things down and get Johnny back to normal. That's why Sheriff Hal's attitude has changed so much.

But the dramatic change in attitude on Sheriff Hall's part has created even greater confusion in the minds of Johnny and Rossan, who were all set. Moreover, the leads found by the police clearly identified Johnny as suspected, and now suddenly they say that there are no more suspects, which is doubtful to anyone.

“Sheriff Hal, are you sure Johnny's not suspected?” So, after listening to Sheriff Hal, Rossan, as a journalist, had his first doubts.

“Well, he's no longer suspected.” Sheriff Hal nodded and answered seriously when he heard Rossan's question.

“Do you have any other suspects? What about the guy who caught fire that night? Aren't you going to continue your investigation?” After Sheriff Hal answered, Rossan's eyes flashed and continued to ask.

As a journalist, Rossan acutely heard something wrong from Sheriff Hal's attitude and words. If the police have ruled out Johnny's suspicion, then something special must have happened.

“Well... this...” Under Rossan's aggressive attitude, Sheriff Hall did not know what to answer for a moment.

“Miss Rossan, the follow-up team on this matter is a police secret and will not be released to the public for the time being. We'll let you know the first time we follow up if we have any results and can release them to the public.” As Sheriff Hal stuttered, Agent Edwards opened his mouth and explained.

As a S.H.I.E.L.D. outsider, Edward obviously has more experience dealing with this situation than Sheriff Hall. And it's true that Johnny's investigation team has been classified as an A-status S.H.I.E.L.D. incident, and Edward, they really can't reveal anything.

“So...” When Special Agent Ed answered, Rossan muttered and stopped asking questions.

It would be good for Johnny if the police really sent Johnny's suspicion, no matter what happened, or if the police made a mistake. So Roxanne doesn't intend to keep asking. In fact, after the questioning, there was some regret in Rossan's heart that reacted, thankfully the police didn't pursue anything.

“Well, so if you don't have any other questions, just sign these papers and you can leave.” After Rossan calmed down, Sheriff Hall dropped a document on the table and opened it, he said.

Phew ~

Looking at that file, Johnny, who had never spoken, reached out and took it to the front. Just a quick glance, this is indeed a very common confession document that cooperates with the investigation. Once you're sure it's okay, Johnny signs his name, and then Rossan signs his name.

“That's it, if you're all right, you can leave now on your own, I won't give you a ride.” After Johnny and Rossan signed it, Sheriff Hall took it back and smiled.

“Well, then let's go.” I nodded to Sheriff Hall and Agent Edward, and Johnny stood up.

Then Johnny and Rossan walked to the door of the interrogation room. However, as he was about to go out, Johnny suddenly stopped and came over slightly, “Thank that guy for us. ”

After that, Johnny pulled Rossan open the door and left Sheriff Hal and Special Agent Edward inside the interrogation room.

……

“What did he just say... does he know that S.H.I.E.L.D. is trying to protect him?” Sheriff Hal said with some confusion as he watched Johnny leave and close the door.

“I don't know, Johnny shouldn't know anything about S.H.I.E.L.D.” Agent Edward was also puzzled by Johnny's last words before he left.

Sheriff Hall and Special Agent Edward then left the interrogation room with the available documents. And in the other room on the other side of the interrogation room, the falcon was sitting in a chair, his eyes flashing, wondering what he was thinking. Earlier, the Falcon was kind of watching Johnny up close. But the Falcon couldn't connect Johnny to the burning skeleton he fought with last night.

“Now that it's been classified as a Class A event, that burning skeleton should be Johnny Blaze. I just don't know what else he's capable of creating a threat, Class A, that would destroy the threat level of at least one city!” As he pondered, the falcon felt emotional in his heart.

The Falcon stood out of its chair before Sheriff Hall and Agent Edward came. Now that the incident has been characterized above, there must be other arrangements to follow. The Falcon continues to be useless here, so it's time for him to return. This time, the Falcon came and fought a burning skeleton and lost.

If the Falcon is still interested in Johnny or that burning skull, he can go back and ask Captain Rogers exactly what he got. Perhaps the Falcon can follow up on this A-level event.

So, with S.H.I.E.L.D. 's intervention, the strange events caused by the Evil Knight and the Witch Heart Demon were silently suppressed. And Johnny and Rossan came home safely, and they had more time to organize their future lives.
