Chapter 995: Surrounding
While Scott was sitting on the back of an ant walking around a complex narrow street alley, an armed team was approaching Scott. This armed group is the same team that rescued Darren Cross last night, and I don't know how they found Scott hiding in this remote neighborhood.
Buzz ~
Though it was difficult for Scott to be seen by the naked eye after he turned into an ant, he was also flying fast with the help of an ant. But the armed group was obviously ready, and everyone was wearing a tactical mask, and in front of them, a little red dot was moving fast, and it was Scott who was fleeing. Perhaps they've found a way to locate ants.
Psst ~
“The capture team is only responsible for the siege of the battlefield and the clean-up, and the battle is handed over to Squad S.” Just after this armed group had tightly surrounded this old neighbourhood, a voice was heard in their internal communications.
Upon hearing the order of the voice, the armed groups of more than twenty men immediately stopped in their respective positions and, once they had found the best control angle, they held the weapon still. Against ants, their weapons, while effective, are still a question of being able to hit them. So they shouldn't be needed in a positive fight, they just need to make sure Scott doesn't escape and that the capture process isn't interrupted.
“Well, they seem to have stopped? Did you give up?” Scott's acute discovery that the teams surrounding him were running fast in the alley seemed to have stopped and his mind could not help but speculate.
Buzz!
But just as Scott was controlling the ants to fly high, trying to see what was going on around them, a buzz came through. Then, in Scott's astonished gaze, ten tiny figures like him rushed in. That's an ant squad of ten!
Darren Cross and the forces behind him made their first deal with a whole set of ten Ant suits, enough to make an unpredictable difference with the Pym particles Darren Cross gave them.
However, in order to get more Pym particles and Ant-Man jackets, after Darren Cross disappeared, his supporters had to send the strongest team to capture Scott. In addition to that high-tech armed squad, the Ant Squad, which is made up of Ant suits, is undoubtedly the best force to capture Scott. Apart from the same ants, it is difficult for any other team to accomplish such an operation.
Whoo-hoo!
Scott's face turned black in the face of ten ant warriors rushing in front of him. After an interrogation of Darren Cross last night, while the other side gave little useful news, Scott also guessed that he must have made a deal with the forces behind his back. So Scott also had a psychological expectation that the other guy would have an ant suit, but he still didn't expect the other guy to send ten ant fighters all at once.
“Darren Cross, this guy is crazy! Ten Ant suits, so many Pym particles, does he have that much money?!” While controlling the flying ants beneath the buttocks, Scott was shouting.
The cost of making an ant suit is not inexpensive because the material used to make an ant suit is very scarce to adapt to changes in the atomic distance of the Pym particles, and it can be said that the cost of making an ant suit will not be lower than Tony's steel suit. And Pym particles are even more difficult to develop, and yields are very low. With Pym Technologies, I don't know how Darren Cross made so many Ant-Man suits and Pym particles in such a short time. After all, Pym Technologies is not as generous as Stark Industries.
Of course, no matter where Darren Cross came from, where he made so many anthropomorphic suits and pym particles, Scott is now facing such a serious situation. Darren Cross nearly killed Scott last night with five Ant Warriors, and now facing the same ten Ant Warriors, Scott is really not at all willing, just trying to escape.
“A-Squad! Bravo team! Get out of my way!” With dozens of flying ants protected, Scott couldn't help but issue such an almost suicidal order.
While Scott was also reluctant to let the A- and B-squad flying ants fight the Ant Warriors, Scott had no choice but to escape. It's daylight, and last night's Giant Pattern is on the news, and Scott can't be a Giant again. And even if he turns into a giant again, believing he's ready, it's probably worse.
Buzz!
After Scott gave the order, the A and B squads surrounded by Scott quickly disengaged from the big army, slapping their wings towards the rear, and the ten Ant warriors who chased them rushed over. Soon, two opposing teams came into contact in mid-air.
Just as the two teams of flying insects were at war, the number of black flying ants was several times greater than the number of ants, and the black flying ants covered that yellow flying ant squad like sand. For a moment, the very fast Ant Squad was surrounded by the Ant Squad.
At the beginning of the fighting, the A and B squadrons took advantage of their numbers and race: flexibilities, strong bodies, strong defenses. Obviously, the ant squad, which had never really fought in action, was suppressed in the face of this normally invisible flying ant, and from time to time, ant warriors were hit by several flying ants and spinning in mid-air.
However, as the fighting continued, the Ant Squad quickly adapted to the battle. Each ant warrior launched his own counter-attack with several times more attacks than his own. Then, a dozen tiny laser beams flashed in the black flying sand in the middle of the sky. Each laser beam penetrates the body of one or two flying ants and wings.
Whoo-hoo!
Pfft, pfft!
Dozens of ants from A and B squads soon died and wounded, one falling from the sky to the ground, after a fierce counterattack by an ant warrior. They may not feel the pain, the ants who have lost their whole wings and legs and feet are struggling hard on the ground, and life is gradually slipping away from them. Perhaps only Professor Scott and Professor Pym would really care about these tiny flying ants.
Brush, brush!
And after solving everyone's flying ants, a team of delayed ants continued to jump at Scott, who had not escaped too far.
