Herscherik (Reincarnated Prince Series)
Chapter nine: gossip king, ex-general and witch part three
Soluyeh was visiting the quiet outer palace. When Roland left, he was already around late at night, but he missed his last prince before returning to the rear palace. He would already be asleep at this hour, but he visited just to look at his face.
When I went up the stairs and reached the third floor, where the lights went out and the darkness ruled, there was a moving shadow.
"…… Who is it?
Soldier throws words into the shadows as he prepares to use magic at any time. This is a castle where only royalty and the forgiven can step in. However, uninvited guests may also step in.
"! Your Majesty, excuse me.
That was the voice of a young young man. When you light a lamp that would have been ready beside you, your face illuminates.
"Octavian, you were.
There was a prince's lead knight at the end illuminated by the lamp's bright light. His work should be at noon and night shifts should not normally be available. Though Soldier dared not touch it there, and would convey the purpose of his visit to the outer palace.
"I'm here to see Hershey. You'd be asleep already, but I thought I'd just look at your face.
In contrast to the smiling king, the young man, who is the lead knight and called Oran by the prince, gives a troubled expression.
"The prince, er..."
"What's wrong with Hershey... is something wrong?
To him swimming his gaze, the king throws his sharp gaze and words. Oran shook his head as he gave up on that gaze and words.
"You can't help it… Your Majesty, come this way.
Oran makes an excuse for himself, leads the way and walks out. A little while later, another young man was waiting.
"Hey, Dumb Knight. Do you really think that the Lord would bring His Majesty with you, even though he had asked for so much?
Best of all, it was Schwartz, the lead butler, who said so. Illuminated by the lamp, he was smiling, but even a king with few contacts could tell it was the smile it was made of.
Soldier turns around wondering if the subtle salutation is because he has himself.
"The Knight of Azhu thinks you mean me.
"Muscle idiot.
"You won't be so involved!
He accidentally shouts, and Oran rushes to press his own mouth.
"... but the prince is a child. It would be better if the father were by his side.
Clo leaks a sigh to that kind of orang.
"But I don't want it.
The knight leaks a sigh to the deacon, who is clear.
(He's a black dog. When it comes to the prince, he won't move.
"It's time for you to explain what that means.
Soldier breaks into two conversations. Because I didn't feel like I could ever come to Hershelik.
"Black dog, the prince won't know because he's asleep, okay? I don't think it's better for the prince to come this far and hide it.
Clo thought for a few beats at Oran's words, clapping his shoulders in the wind that he had no choice. And face the king.
"Your Majesty, excuse me. Currently, the Lord is off.
"I guess because it's late. Anything else?
Soldier urges ahead. Because I had a prediction they wouldn't hesitate if they were just resting.
"…… the Lord is now suffering from ill health caused by high fever.
"Fever, you say?
That disease, which only afflicted the royalty behind Solje's brain, takes the life of his first daughter, passes. I could see the blood making a noise and pulling away. You wouldn't know by the light on the lamp, but your complexion would be bright blue.
"……… What's the capacity?
Clo opens his mouth to the short words of the king who was at last.
"We are recovering gradually. The doctor had the appearance that he was ill because of the difference between the accumulation of fatigue and the temperature at the turn of the season.
"I did not report it because the prince asked His Majesty never to tell me. I'm sorry.
Following Cro, Oran lowers his head for answers.
Soluyeh easily figured out why Hershelik told him not to tell himself. Hershelik knows how Soldier got weaker. So if I knew it was my illness, it would save me more worry and effort than I had to.
"……… May I see Hershey?
The butler silently paves the way for the words. Sliding through his neighbor, Soluyeh headed toward Hershelik.
Dropping off the king's back, Crowe leaks a deep sigh and stares at Oran. With that gaze, Oran glanced over his shoulder.
"There's no choice. I can't drive you back here.
"What are you doing here, bad knight?
"To protect the prince. It is out of my mandate to drive His Majesty back.
Oran answers as he touches the sword he is wearing. Originally, he doesn't work at night. Hershelik also told me that he should return to his home at night, but Oran himself is here to guard the night.
There are two reasons.
The first is that because of Hershelik's medical care, which Kro is sleeping in, the protection becomes weak. Because this is a royal castle, but it's never safe.
The second is whether it is possible that someone may have attacked that Hershelik witnessed the drug incident.
Deacon said I could break in without being noticed by this castle myself. It was not strange for a secret detective with the same or more strength to break in.
That's why Oran was guarding himself. Night protection will also continue, at least until Hershelik's health is fully restored.
"You're the one who keeps your mouth shut, aren't you? This is not the first time the prince has fallen asleep.
During the day, Oran did not miss the words that the doctor who came to see him said with such a sigh.
Originally Hershelik was small and luxurious compared to children his age. It is not sick or weak, but gives an impression from its appearance.
According to what the doctor told me, the mother was not ill either, but her biological body was not robust, and after giving birth to Hershelik, she became a person who would not return.
Hershelik has also apparently resembled his mother. He's willing to work out, but his body doesn't follow him.
"They didn't ask me.
Clo answers worried Oran snugly.
Oran is right. This is not the first time Hershelik has fallen.
I am not sick. One day, suddenly, Hershelik falls asleep like a strained thread has been cut. It's as if the power I was saving could cut off. Still, after a few days off, she will recover, so I don't know if she will be just tired...
"Speaking of which, bad knight. I need to talk to you.
"Oh, my God. Either it's stuck or it's stupid, Black Dog.
"Even a muscle knight, though?
Yes, Khlo began preaching to Oran about the future.
Soldier enters the bedroom of the last prince so as not to make a sound. In the dark room, only the shallow breath of the Lord in the room was echoing.
The king gently approached the bed and peered in, where Hershelik slept with a painful face. I put my hand gently on my forehead and the butler is right. I have a fever. It just seemed like Hershelik's shallow breathing had gotten a little easier because his hands were cold.
I stroke my blonde head, which is sticking with sweat as it is.
(I'm going to have a hard time with all this kid...)
I feel impudent that I was always trying to protect it, but that I was in a position to be protected the other way.
"……… come on.
I heard a slight voice.
"Hershey?"
"…… sorry, do.
Hershelik utters words of apology. But he won't be able to open his eyes, so he'll be sleeping.
Hershelik repeated the rumor, a glimmer of tears flowing from his closed eyes.
"Protect me again………………………….
Listening to his loving son's bedtime words, Soldier opens his eyes.
I couldn't protect it. Indeed Hershelik said so.
Soldier figured out who it was for. Baron Almin, children of the orphanage, victims of medication. And what happens in the future due to the failure to solve the case.
"Sorry......"
Hershelik mouths an apology over and over again. It's never his fault. More to the point, it's my worst fault that I'm a king but I don't try to live up to my responsibilities.
"Hershey never apologizes. Hershey's doing great for me.
Thorouyer couldn't help but say that he was unconscious. Then he wiped the flowing tears and continued to gently stroke his head.
Soldier never left the room until Hershelik's fever dropped and his breathing was calm. After all, the king left the room when the morning sun had already begun to illuminate the sky.
