Herscherik (Reincarnated Prince Series)

Chapter Five: Teacher Shilo, History and Magic Systems Part One

This is an exercise area where there used to be an accident. Two human beings with height differences confronted each other in the heart of that exercise area, which is now fully maintained with a renewed defensive junction.

One is Hershelik, the last prince of this country. The other was a lecturer in the magic of the late prince sent by the church, a beautiful woman called Shilo by the prince, a beautiful young man with such beauty that he was mistaken for one.

The instructor, Shiro, makes the ball of flame appear on the raised palm and manipulates it freely, turning it off and showing it at the end. The magic of the Flame attribute is the primary attack magic. Advanced players can also make multiple balls of flame appear, and if a magic formula is combined, explosions, etc. after landing, etc. are advantageous and magical.

It means practicing it in front of the prince and showing it to him and having him do it first. To find out how strong it is.

"Have you figured this out yet? Then try it.

"Yes, Doctor! I can't!

Hershelik replied with a cheerful smile to Siro's words.

(Oh, I wrinkled between my eyebrows.

Shiro wrinkles between his eyebrows in a grumpy manner. Hershelik deludes herself with an ambiguous look because she is afraid of being stared at by a beauty, but not for the first time.

"I don't know what I can't do. I don't like magic, but you've probably used it in the first place, right?

"Speaking of which..."

"Then why?

Hershelik cheeks with Polypoli in Shilo's stuffing tone.

(I don't know why, but I don't have magic, and the magic I use is as much as I can do with floating magic...

Speaking of which, I have no magic, only my father and the first teacher of magic knew. Because there has never been a scene where magic is needed before, neither Crowe nor Oran should know that they have no magic. Or maybe they just don't like magic and don't use it.

(I'm not hiding anything from you, okay?

Yes, Hershelik concludes.

"Because I have no magic powers.

"No?"

It was seen as if to look at rare species animals. Indeed, there are few, or almost none, people without magic in this world. One person in one country or not. So there will be no surprise or imposition.

"Yes, I can't use the magic itself because I don't have an ex.

Saying so, Hershelik retrieves Silver Komi's pocket watch.

"The only way I can use this pocket watch is to capture the floating magic into me. The first steps in the beginning, or the basics. That's just magic with less use of magic, too.

All I can do is light the lights, start a small fire, build water to the limit and I can't even use magic tools. Of course, I can't put together a magic ceremony.

Siro nods in the wind convinced by Hershelik's words.

"I see. So……………"

(Weren't you afraid to look at my powers?

Taking in floating magic itself meant that it was normal for Hershelik. He was easily accepted because he did not know the heresy.

I feel sorry for myself, and Shiro laughs at herself in mockery.

(What did I expect?

"Mr. Shiro?

Shiro shakes his head gently to the surprised Hershelik. And I pointed to my pocket watch.

"Let me see.

Hershelik hesitated for a moment to say the word, but offered once he stroked his pocket watch as if it mattered.

"Yes, please.

Shiro gazed when he received his pocket watch. Slightly old but elegantly designed silver ancient beauty pocket watch. That's what ordinary people would see, but Shilo was different. Look at the craftsmanship and open your eyes.

"This is the oldest legacy………?

Shilo suppresses feelings of deviation and stares at the amber eyes to narrow them and look at the details further.

(Again!)

The pocket watch, as Ciro expected, was engraved with an advanced magic formula that made it look like a craftsman, but never seen before. If you look at something you don't know, it's just a pocket watch with no philosophy. But if you see something you know, you realize the value of this pocket watch.

"Oldest?"

Hershelik tilts his neck at Shilo's words.

"Do you know the history of this world?

Hershelik nods at Shilo's words. There are three histories that we can grasp in this world, except now. It's suspicious if I can just say three things.

The time before now was called the time of dawn.

At the beginning of the dawn, there were nations large and small all over the world and wars continued. Unknown heroes, born of both sexes, brought peace and world peace to the battle that seemed to last forever. The time when only one hero brought the dawn on a night that was also thought to be dark and unexpected: war, that was the time of dawn. Later the hero is called a saint and is told that after his death he became a pillar of the gods.

The time when the world became one lasted about a thousand years, but the current state, divided with the course of time, is the present time.

It is called the age of blanks before the dawn. Unknown times with no record whatsoever.

In one theory, there was a natural mutation and the whole world was doomed, and the gods changed the world, an era that is said to be equal but has no information whatsoever. It's called a blank age because it's an empty age up to the next one.

And the oldest times I know today are the oldest. It is said that those times flourished in magical civilization more than in this day and age, and for thousands and tens of thousands of years. Even now no history older than that of the oldest was discovered, which is why it was called the oldest.

The oldest days when magic civilization was flourishing, the blank days when magic civilization somehow had no doom record whatsoever, and the dawn days when heroes stabilized the world. Subdivision differs again, but the history of this world is divided into these three main parts.

"The oldest times in which civilization is said to have flourished far more than it did today, before the age of blanks. If it's a thing of that era, it's not surprising that there are tools that can convert magic.

There are still a lot of magic tools left in the dawn, but they are crap enough to be silly compared to the tools of the oldest times. Even if the magic tools of the oldest times, the oldest heritage discovered, cannot be used, the remaining magic ceremonies are still unparalleled and complex. Research is still underway in this day and age, but it still seems like a baby toy compared to the magic ceremony of the oldest era.

(That people in the past are more amazing?

Then I came up with an equal contradiction as to why it had perished once and why a blank age existed, but more concerned about Hershelik than that was the word magic conversion.

If Siro's words are correct, pocket watches are magic tools from the oldest times and magic conversions seem very rare.

"Eh, isn't it normal to take in floating magic?

"…… That's not normal.

"Is that so……………"

Hershelik is perplexed while stroking the pocket watch he received back with his finger belly, recognizing that what he has is very valuable.

"Should I give this pocket watch to the research bureau………?"

The oldest legacy to move. That's all it's worth. I don't know why Count Luceria had such a thing, or just didn't realize it, but I don't know if I can have this all the time.

(I don't want to let go...)

This is not just a pocket watch. It means a lot to Hershelik.

Shiro opened his mouth to Hershelik, who was visibly depressed.

"… nothing, no one will be able to figure it out even if I give it to them. It is the ancient heritage and other museums that will be exhibited. It doesn't matter if you have it. [M]

"Yes!"

Shiro turns away from his gaze at Hershelik, who replies happily. And I coughed to deceive you.

"Now, what do we do?

"What do you say?"

He tilts his neck as Hershelik leans his pocket watch into his inner pocket.

"I'm here to teach you magic. And if you can't use magic, it doesn't make sense, does it?

Hershelik thinks to Shilo's words.

"Then just tell me your knowledge of magic.

I haven't taken a magic class since I discovered no magic in my first magic class after my third birthday. I've read many magic specialties in reading, but it's not good.

(Besides, cutting hands with Shiro, who is connected to the church, is a lower policy.

I don't know if Shiro is involved in the incident or what might happen, but it's a shame to lose a class with Shiro.

"Please.

"…… Okay.

Siro, who was asked to smile, groaned with a sigh.
