Herscherik (Reincarnated Prince Series)

Chapter Ten: Noel, Henil and Ritual Part Two

Hershelik exhaled fed into Henil's enthusiasm and mad caged eyes.

"Will you stop? I don't want you to call me by that name.

Cold gaze as opposed to Henil, and Hershelik answers with a cold voice.

They are the only ones allowed to use that designation. I felt like I was being tainted with words from them that believed in me and helped me.

With a cooler voice, Hershelik went on to ask questions.

"What you need is a legitimate bloodline of a royal family whose nobles are less likely to make a scene, and a prince who has civilians as his mother and is easily accepted by the people. I'm not myself.

(Plus, it's not just the blood muscles... Operation Tiger Hole was behind it.

Hershelik adds inside.

Operation Tiger Hole is almost a success, I would say. I went into a tiger hole as per the operation and got a tiger child. Because both the minister and the church succeeded in attracting them. But it worked better than that. What we did was more acceptable to the public than we could have imagined. Like a former general, I cleaned up the problems everywhere, and I stopped talking hard to the people involved, but there's no way I can block everyone's mouth.

The bards tell the story of the prince bringing his people to the world to make amends, and the traveling troupe plays the princes' adventure tam everywhere. The children also become princes and squires.

More than Hershelik thought, people suffered from oppression and wanted change.

And the country is changing slightly but in a good direction.

If, now, I gain the power of the Church to become a flag and rise, there is a good chance that the revolution will succeed.

"If you know that much..."

"No. It can never be the flag of a revolution.

Hershelik blocked Henil's hopeful words.

In the event of a revolution, it is likely that the royalty, or the families that I most want to protect, will be sent to the execution bench. And yet I can't possibly be the flag.

"Ooh, ooh.

I shrug my shoulders as if Henil embarrasses a deaf child.

"I thought you understood.

"No, you would have understood. My answer.

That's why it's that trap.

"Operational magic.

Henyl reacts with Pickle to Hershelik's words. Hershelik did not miss that reaction. And my expectations were met.

"Again, you are also a user of divine healing magic, but you can also use manipulative magic. That trap was also a fabric stone to treat me like a good person.

Just before going out, Utel advised Hershelik.

"That man smells just like me, doesn't he?

Does that mean poisonous tongue s belly black, manage to swallow the line Hershelik waits for the next word. I was scared of Utel laughing at me for reading my mind, but needless to say I tried my best to keep my normal mind.

"He probably uses manipulative magic. Originally, the inner healing magic of the divine healing system is a magic that requires elaborate magic manipulation. If you're a person who can handle so much healing magic, it's no surprise that manipulative magic can be used.

And Utel said as he caressed Hershelik's head worryingly.

"Even during operating magic, psychic manipulation magic and spells are magic that soak in a person's weakness. Even a little skimming will kill you...... so be careful.

The Utel's hunch was false. Spiritually manipulative magic that reproduced my subtlety, which left me alone with my bellies, and the desire that existed behind my mind that I didn't even realize, struck directly at Hershelik, who had no defensive technique called magic. Had it not been for Klaus, Hershelik might not have come back imprisoned in illusions as he was.

"You trapped me because you knew I would say no. At that point in the trap, no matter how many well-touched words you can arrange, all your words are thin.

To Hershelik's words of rejection, Henil now leaks a sigh.

"I thought you would understand.

"Smart? I'm not so smart.

Hershelik adds in his mind that he just has more experience and knowledge than a normal person.

(As expected so far.

Except for the lapse of fitting into a trap along the way, so far as I expected, Hershelik still had something to catch on to.

"Hey, do you really think the Church's power alone can revolutionize you? Do you really think the army of this kingdom can unify the world?

Keep the word as Hershelik shoots through.

There are still multiple pieces left in Hershelik. And that was signaling a red flag to me. I don't think this fanatical but highly calculated man has calculated the area. There's got to be some kind of absolute trump card he's got.

"What else are you hiding?... What are you trying to do to Mr. Shiro?

From earlier on, Shiro does not move from above the pattern painted on the ground. No, can't you move? He doesn't have the usual twinkly look, he looks at us like a frightened child.

Hershelik has always felt uncomfortable with Shiro.

If you were sent to soften yourself, the prince, would you be more affectionate? But he had no love whatsoever, he was never flattered because he was royal, and he was intimidating the other woman with the same beauty he had misjudged. He was vigilant around him with a high-pressure attitude, like a wildcat. He seemed to protect himself by intimidating and alerting and attacking people. If your gaze matches, your gaze shifts as if you were frightened. Shiro is not as clever as he is or Henyl. Hershelik somehow wondered if Shiro had anything to do with the drug case, the conspiracy, etc., even if he was affiliated with the church side.

That was obvious from the current situation.

(After all, Mr. Shiro was used?

Hershelik runs insect spit the way Hahnil does. He never stands on the table. About Baron Almin, about Shiro, and about trying to revolutionize himself as a flag.

"Mr. Shiro, too, you mean the sacrifice at your place?

Henyl answers nothing to Hershelik's words. The silence was affirmative.

Shiro, who was listening to the conversation between the two of them, found his vision blurring.

Only this man helped himself.

Only this man asked for himself.

He was the only one who took my hand at myself, who kept being scorned as a monster by everyone.

(Nothing, I could have used it...)

Even if it was to blade at the gods, if it was to be hated by all mankind, or even to give your own life, just tell me and I would have done anything.

But Henil didn't believe in himself from the start.

Because I didn't believe, I ruled myself by spell.

(In the end, I couldn't get anyone to believe me......)

Tears spread on my cheeks. Siro didn't know if that was from sadness, hatred, or giving up. I just wept.

"Ma, that's enough. I don't care what you think.

That was more of a prince's voice than I was sick of earlier. And stare at the henyl directly in front.

"Let Mr. Shiro and Gene go. If you intend to do harm to this country...... only eliminate it if it interferes with my purpose.

He ran out of words to Henyl from the front. Rin's grandeur stops Shiro's flowing tears.

"... What is the purpose?

Hershelik smiles at Hahnil's words. Not as cold as earlier, not as innocent as a child. I said as I smiled invincibly.

"Everything...... everything I wish!

Family, people, country……… and the world.

A world where irrational and someone doesn't cry, a world where hard work pays off, a world where serious people, honest people pay off.

It will be difficult for 10,000 people to be happy. Because people's happiness is their own. But isn't it possible for 10,000 people to have hope tomorrow? Hershelik wants the world.

I know it myself. That's a very sweet way of thinking. Beautiful. But if you don't think about everything, it won't start.

"Henil, you said it, didn't you? Saving a lot of people requires sacrifice. I understand that, too.

No matter how hard you try, sacrifices can happen. But that's the result. Unlike the premise that sacrifices are made, like a henyl. It beautifies with the word sacrifice, but it simply gives up.

"Save many in the world with minimal sacrifice? Would you stop saying that one stomach aches that many human beings who have given up on sacrifices since the beginning? And that's not to say sacrifice. It's called sacrifice.

"So on the contrary, you think the country and the world can be saved without sacrifice? How unrealistic and sweet to say...... can this corrupt country be saved in your way?

Henil's voice was a mixed voice, but so was his anger. Hershelik takes the word directly from the front.

"No matter what anyone tells me, because that's what I wanted. It's not for someone, it's what I want to do. I get everything I want.

It is very comforting to say that it is for the family, for the people, for the country…… for someone.

But Hershelik thinks. I want to help my father, I want to protect my family, I want the people to laugh at me. Never for someone else. It's what I wanted and it's all for me that I can't truncate something.

"…… what a greed.

"Greed? Fine!

Hershelik exalts himself in the words of Hahnil.

"Give up, offer sacrifices, and save many. If you call it justice, I'll get everything. A greedy evil is fine.

It's not too late to give up even after you've given it all up. But I have something to do before I give up. There are things I can change. Then just move on to it.

Seeing Hershelik, who had said that out, Henil shook his head as if he had given up.
