Chapter 1874 - 1870: I Still Have Things to Do
Mu Yeli had been busy in the study room all day and hadn’t come out once.
Ye Ning knew it was because he was injured, so at night she went to sleep with Tangdou again.
By the time Mu Yeli came back, Ye Ning was already sound asleep.
He leaned against Ye Ning’s side and quietly drifted off to sleep.
The next morning.
While Ye Ning was eating, Mu Yeli picked up a phone call.
No one knew what the person on the other end said, but Mu Yeli said lightly, "So? How is it?"
"Alright, I’ll come over now."
His eyes shifted slightly, and he said to Ye Ning, "There’s something going on at Ouyang’s. I need to go deal with it."
Ye Ning nodded. "Oh, go ahead."
Mu Yeli asked, "What about you? Do you have work today?"
"Yeah, I’m going to talk with Lin Siqing about the Paris Fashion Week."
"Okay. You just got back, remember to rest. I’m heading out." He lowered his head and kissed Ye Ning’s forehead before walking out.
As for Ye Ning—
She really did want to sit down with them and discuss going to Paris Fashion Week. The time and team members were already set; they were just waiting to schedule departure.
Since Xiaoqiang had hardly ever gone abroad, they still needed to handle procedures for him and a couple of other staff.
The timing was tight, and they were all going through the fast track. Luckily Lin Siqing knew people over there, so the paperwork got done quickly.
Ye Ning went to Lin Siqing’s first.
Lin Siqing said, "We’ve already prepared the designs we’re taking over there. Everyone’s worked hard for a while now. Tonight it should all be set, let’s go eat something together to celebrate."
Xiaoqiang said, "It’s worth the hard work, just as long as we don’t get there and embarrass everyone."
Ye Ning said, "Idiot, the fact that we’ve been invited already means they recognize us, they recognize your designs. What are you worried about?"
Xiaoqiang chuckled, scratching his head. "That’s not it, I’m just basking in your glory. If it weren’t for President Lin and you being so capable, the shop wouldn’t be doing this well."
"Everything’s built around your designs. Without your designs, none of this would’ve happened." Ye Ning patted his shoulder, thinking this guy still lacked confidence, and she really didn’t mind boosting it for him.
Lin Siqing said, "Everyone’s worked hard these past few days. I’ll book a restaurant for tonight."
But Ye Ning said, "No, I’ve got something on tonight, I can’t make it. You guys go."
"Something on?" Lin Siqing looked at her. "You that busy?"
Ye Ning glanced at her phone. "Yeah, it’s important. It’s fine, we can eat anytime. When we get to Paris, we’ll go have something really good together."
"Alright then, go take care of it."
Just then, Ye Ning was listening to a message from Gong Ye.
"The target’s already locked in."
Ye Ning narrowed her eyes slightly. "Got it. I’m coming over now."

On the other side.
Mu Yeli looked at Ouyang. "Don’t worry, our people are already searching. Tell your sister to stay home as much as possible for the next few days."
Ouyang said, "If she really knew how to behave, she wouldn’t have caused all this in the first place."
"This time we really have to thank the people you know for helping out. Otherwise, our family honestly has zero experience with this kind of thing."
Ouyang said to Mu Yeli.
The Ouyang Family was strong when it came to academic stuff, but they weren’t exactly good at other kinds of social dealings.
Jiang Yubai chimed in from the side, "Alright, alright, enough with the thank-yous. Seriously, those idiots, they dare mess with anyone. Once we actually catch them, watch me beat him to death."
