History's Strongest Manager

[29] Does Blue Heart Beat Red (4)

“Is that the fugitive mutant? ”

The officials were all appalled at what they had found.

“Aran, come with me. ”

“Yes.”

“Gina, stay here and continue with the location briefing. ”

“Oh, yes! ”

“Now, wait a minute. Who the hell are you? ”

The warden asked as he watched Gangjun try to escape immediately.

“How did you know how to use the energy scanner so well, and how did you find this so quickly? What are you doing? ”

There was still a lot of uncertainty, but the warden was convinced that the moving blue dot was really a fugitive mutant. There were very few mutants capable of producing core wavelengths above the S rank, and all conditions were as Kangjun said. Now all I had to do was go and get him. The engineers who could handle the energy scanner were even more surprised to know which variations to eliminate and consider in order to achieve this goal.

This would have been a huge career for him, as he had simply left his responsibilities to work with a civilian to capture a fugitive mutant.

In common words, this was like an unprecedented performance. Kang Jun looked at him and gave him a business card.

“I am Kang Jun, Manager, Hero Management. ”

There was nothing wrong with knowing about one military officer, and there was more good to do.

Then I left the Situation Room. I was standing still in the situation room because I decided to stay in the best situation room and brief. The officials, of course, asked the warden, looking past the best.

“Manager…? Are you the manager?"

“Well……. ”

Gina smiles like a fool with a slightly dazed expression.

“Yes.”

Anyway, it wasn't a lie.

Kang Jun left the best because there might be a battle now. Seo Aran was able to do one's share and was a knight of excellent quality, even though he was a beginner. Plus a class A piece of equipment. Aran sits in the passenger seat and checks the equipment.

“Are you going to kill him? ”

Aran asked Gangjun that in a speeding van. It was only Aran who knew the 'real' skills of Kangjun in Hero Management. So I knew that if I wanted to kill the fugitive mutant, Gangjun could kill as many as he wanted.

With the official hunting order in place, the mutant had nothing to do with his death.

Kang Jun asked another question instead of answering Aran's question.

“What if Aran teamed up with a fugitive mutant? ”

With that answer, Kang Jun was like answering a lot of things, and Aran replied with an expressionless gaze.

“I don't care if it doesn't get in the way. ”

Gangjun had no intention of hunting mutants.

It was the work of Acula, a biomedical organization. No matter what they did, the outcome of any terrible experiment had nothing to do with performance or crime. Subject is a subject, not guilty.

The Blueheart project was insane, but once it had the results, it didn't change what a mutant was worth.

However, deserted mutants were usually mentally unstable, and Kang Jun was not going lightly, as he told Aran.

While finding the parking lot near the medical station was the worst, Gangjun pulled over on the road, flashed an emergency flashlight and got out of the car. Vision was already a deep night. Aran finishes her final inspection of the equipment in an armored coat.

“Are you looking for it separately? ”

“No, you work with me. ”

Kangjun's armor was only equipped with Ethel Blaster, Ethel Sword, and Shield Bracelet, but without armor.

“Is it okay if you don't have a coat? ”

“That's enough. ”

Shield bracelets were essentially weak in their defensive space due to size issues. However, Kangjun had the best equipment, and his shield bracelet had the S-rank station.

This was enough to target the A-rank dungeon.

Kang Jun took out the blaster and checked the ballistics. It had six bullets in it.

There were no cannonballs.

Kang Jun contacted Choi Jina who would be in the Situation Room.

“Gina, what's the target's location? ”

[I'm heading north from the military station... Oh, yes. Oh, really? Thank you.]

“Why?”

[Warden says he'll send you a GPS location.]

“Good.”

With the permission of the Complaint, a security code was soon sent to Kang Jun's cell phone, and the GPS turned on and the target's location indicated by a blue dot. Soon, the warden who received the mobile phone from Gina informed Gangjun.

[Military forces are currently being infiltrated in secret. Keep the civilians out of harm's way and avoid unnecessary combat.]

He was a soldier, and he was obliged to report the information he uncovered to his superiors. Kang Jun didn't intend to scold him as much as he had endured it. Rather, Kang Jun had to cooperate with the military.

“Yes, what's the ETA? ”

[Approximately 10 minutes.]

He was part of the operation anyway, and he was recognized for his operational autonomy. As such, Kang Jun was potentially rich in extenuating circumstances no matter what happened.

After hanging up the phone, Aran stared at Kangjun.

“Soldiers don't bother when they come, so we should be done with the capture in 10 minutes. ”

“Yes.”

“It's most likely highly unstable, so don't go ahead and follow my instructions once you find it. ”

They looked at the GPS screen and quickly moved to that location. The passersby suddenly looks at the armored hunter as odd, but there is no unusual reaction. There are still no reports of fugitive mutants near the infirmary. Gangjun took out a cylindrical finger size item from his arms and handed it over to Aran.

“This... ”

“It's a neurostimulant, and once they've begun to resist, the first thing they're going to do is take one shot at it. ”

“Where is this...? ”

The Awakened had their own way, the Night had his own way, and the Mutant had his own way. It was a syringe that, with a kind of injection, would administer the drug at the instant of the needle puncture. It was a kind of chemical taser for mutants.

The target is moving at a slow pace, not too fast, and is moving in the dark next to a large road. The tracking speed of Kangjun and Aran was very fast, and they were soon able to reach their destination.

It was a big street near the hospital elementary school.

“Over there.”

Kang Jun pointed at a child walking along the side of the road with his head down. I don't know how I got it, but I was wearing a suit and a slightly bigger slipper. It wasn't that no one was passing by, but it was very rare, and the little boy walking this street was a little strange.

The reason they didn't get caught sooner is because they found ordinary clothes to escape in.

“A child.... ”

Mutants left the area before the blockade. That's why he would not have been able to find it even if he went over the blocking line. Bodies, especially the deceased subjects, were either dissolved after death or turned into lumps of meat, so it was not known that the subject was a child.

However, Kang Jun knew that Acula was conducting experiments on young children. The GPS's position moved according to the child's footprint. Despite the error rate, it seemed clear that the target was a child over a hundred meters.

“What do I do?”

Aran bites, and Gangjun pulls out the revolver.

“Let's defeat it and see. ”

A few pedestrians were at risk of getting hurt if you so carelessly touched, and the situation became very complicated. Kang Jun quickly approached the boy and killed his marvelous footsteps.

“Once you get close, Aran catches him so he can't move. ”

“W-what? ”

“Mr. Aran.”

He said as if Aran was slightly bored. He was only a child on the outside, and he was actually a child. Kang Jun stared straight into Aran's eyes with a firm look.

“We're not kidding. ”

“ ……. ”

Fearing was just one possibility, and if I didn't mind, I had to kill him immediately. It was natural that this side would die if it went wrong. Even in a moment of hesitation, lives are lost dozens of times. Kangjun's cold words made Aran realise what he was about to do.

They came to destroy a laboratory and hunt for the runaway monster with the iron gate crumpled up like a bell, not to appease a child.

The child was walking normally, and it just looked like a child wearing a slightly bigger slipper. Approaching almost ten metres apart, Kang Jun quickly narrowed the distance and Aran hit him.

As Kangjun was measuring the timing inside, the mutant suddenly quickly turned back.

"Oops!"

Kangjun quickly pulled the revolver out of the holster, and Aran was about to rush in.

“Surrender!”

Mutant falls flat on the floor.

“Help me! I'm sorry! I didn't kill him! No, actually, I did, but I don't remember! That's why I don't think he did it! I was wrong to steal clothes, but that's... ”

Mutants are begging for mercy, frog-faced on the ground. Kangjun and Aran became dumbfounded by seeing their completely surrendered mutants.

“Uh, um... ”

It was unique that they were already sensing each other's approach, but they didn't feel hostile at all. He was just scared and running away.

“I'm not going to hurt you, so just stay put. ”

“Yes! Listen to him very carefully! ”

In Aran's words, the mutant child replied vigorously.

Soon, troops were deployed and there were no unnecessary force outages. Soldiers who confirmed that they had no intention to resist the mutants immediately captured them.

The soldiers had put reinforcement handcuffs on Mutant and were taking him to a convoy car, and the child looked around with a unrealistic look. I asked Kang Jun to save me, but he didn't seem like a scared child.

“Sir, is that a bullet? ”

I was asking a silly question. A soldier who appears to be the field commander salutes Gangjun.

“Thank you for your cooperation in this case. Who do you belong to?”

“I work for Hero Management. ”

“Yes, Hero Management. We'll get back to you. You will be rewarded accordingly. Sure."

“Wait a minute.”

“Yes?”

“I'm her guardian. ”

At Kang Jun's words, the soldier tilted his head as if this was some kind of nonsense.

“What are you talking about? Guardian..."

“That child has decided to be protected by Hero Management. ”

“Yes? Since when...? ”

“Not long ago. ”

Kang Jun smiles at the person in charge, and narrows his gaze as to what the situation is. He told Mutant that Kang Jun was his guardian.

“Yes, I'm a guardian. ”

The child smiled and replied with a silly face.

Kang Jun was already selling medicine to mutants in a short bird on the way.

‘If you are dragged alone without a guardian, you may tear the ship apart at will because you recognize your abilities. ’

‘Ugh, I hate that... ’

Using a few words, the child decided to be protected by Hero Management. Once he had to take the car, he was accompanied by a convoy car, and Gangjun followed the convoy in a van. There were three reinforcement containers behind the special convoy: Western Aran, military officials, and mutants.

Restraining devices were not used because mutants were cooperative. Reports of incidents would already be underway in real time, and officials asked about what could be easily identified.

“Are there any other mutants that escaped with you? ”

“I don't know... Probably not. They're all dead.”

“Okay, what's your name? ”

“Support.”

“How old are you?"

“I don't remember. ”

“Where are you from?"

“I don't know.”

“You don't remember anything? ”

“Yes.”

“Mmmm... Memory loss.”

Military officials also knew that many of the mutant experiments lost their memory due to extreme pain and confusion caused by drug use.

“Do you remember them? ”

“I don't remember. ”

It was a lie. The child knew the researcher's appearance, name, manner of conduct and impression. However, Kang Jun paid attention to the child.

‘Please say you don't know most of the questions. It's okay to say names and physical information. ’

The longer you gesture that you know something, the longer you'll be held captive in the military facility.

“What kind of experiments did you have? ”

“I don't know.”

“What powers do you have? ”

“I don't know.”

“Your name?”

“I don't know…. Support.”

“ …. ”

“ ……. ”

The officials stared at the support.

“Hehe.”

Support only smiles with a frowny face.
