Seventy-four Stories: Intercept One

As soon as the arrows reached the waves of those coming up the hill, a whirlpool of blood and anger erupted.

Until then, the adventurers who were twitching and approaching the king's capital run out of the beginning at once.

"Next! Connect! Aim!!"

Lucina's "Let go!" Every time a signal is given, a heavy iron arrow from the eight strong bows flies in unison to the human wall.

The adventurers are strictly snobber settlers, civilians and not trained soldiers.

It's not like someone is in command, it's just that everyone is pushing themselves to the king's capital.

Even the eight bows could have disintegrated the group with fear if the shooting was repeated unilaterally.

You have to shoot more than once before the enemy reaches the stone wall.

On an arrow that sounded similar to a high scream, a volunteer man turned his voice "hey" to a regular soldier in armor at the right front of Lucina.

"What's this noise? I mean, whenever an arrow flies, you can hear it."

"Oh, that's because... the bows and arrows the archers have are strong bows for shooting 'ringing arrows' to send marching signals against the army, not meant for combat"

"None? Do arrows ring?"

"There's a cavity in the arrow, and when you shoot, the wind pours into the intricately dug ditch to make a whistly high noise. Our soldiers attack their enemies with that sound on the signal.

The longer I'm flying, the better the sound sounds, so I use a strong bow that I can only brag about. It's closer to the instrument than the weapon, so I didn't even cover snobbers... "

"Can it also be used as a weapon?

"Naturally."

The ringing arrow sucks blood up through the groove from the standing human body and sprinkles it around like a fountain.

Some adventurers' feet dulled in synergy with the horrible flying sound. However, the speed of the group itself remains the same, either because of the reassurance of being shouldered side by side with two hundred armed companions.

Eventually, out of the waves of adventurers, an arrow was fired back. Obviously the number of bowmen is higher than on the coffin side.

More flame bottles filled with burning parchment paper in liquor bottles and nugget bags wrapped in fine stones begin to be thrown (stuffed).

"Don't be afraid! They haven't arrived yet! The enemy's under the hill, we're up there! Stone walls prevent attacks!

Wang Du is on the hill because he can prevail in his defense in arrow warfare.

As you shoot an arrow, you gain an overwhelmingly freer angle of fire and a longer range than being under an enemy. Even more so if you use a bare-handed throwing weapon.

You threw it up from under the hill, and it wouldn't reach the enemy unless you raised it to many times the altitude of the flat ground.

The adventurers' arrows did not even reach the stone walls, and burst to the ground at halfway altitudes leading to flame bottles and stone crushing, some of which are hitting allies.

Neither tactics nor anything happened.

They attack the dark clouds without even thinking about the compatibility of their weapons with the terrain, a bunch of de amateurs.

But even such enemies, if they were boarded by the king's capital, would be in a desperate predicament.

Keurenes, who was eager to see the enemy from the stone wall, reports to Lucina with his voice alone.

"Enemy momentum, it won't fade! You will reach the middle belly of the hill!

"Damn......! Prepare to 'crush'!

Seeing as the effect of the ringing arrow was not as great as I thought, Lucina looked back at the soldiers with the narcotic cloth wrapped in fist large stones.

Twenty or so men start twirling a long dripping anesthesia cloth with one hand.

When Keurenes shows with his arms the direction in which the enemy is, Lucina screams as he moves from that ray with the others.

"Let go!!

With the temper of the men, the stone is released into the sky from the spinning anesthetic cloth. Beyond the stone walls, countless screams eventually mixed with the whirlpool of anger.

"Let go! Let go! Don't wait for the signal!! Hit as many as you can!!

"Dear Lucina! The guys on the horse among the enemies......! Coming this way!!

"Dear Lucina!!

Someone further spoke from the rear to Lucina, who would draw her face to Keurenez's report.

Turn around and four doos will come running down the cobblestone path.

In the saddle were Doo's tutors and the magic administrators.

Loud and close to cheering as Lucina lends a hand to the old woman as she descends from a sudden stop doo in front of her.

"Rodmaria! You're here! There are adventurers and horses looming under the hill! We're about to be attacked!

"Dear Lucina! Give us permission to use magic in the name of the princess!

To the magic administrators coming down one after the other from Doo's back, Lucina said without getting lost, "Forgive! Retreat the enemy! ordered."

I don't know what they can do. But they sent messengers for a means of attack that turned them into stone throwers.

Seven women with robes begin to climb the stone wall ladder, leading old woman Rodmaria. "It's dangerous!" Rodmaria said in a low voice, clinging to the shoulders of the bowmen raising their voices.

"If you don't want to die, shut up and give me your hand! Grab the arrow and squeeze! Don't shoot until you say it's good!

"Archers! Follow the instructions of Rodmaria and the others!

To Lucina's voice, the archers stared forward and said, "Yes!" He returned his voice.

Rodmaria and the others take the sachets out of each pocket and sprinkle the contents on the arrows as they place their fingers in the hands of the archers squeezing their bows.

"Dragon's Sand, the finest magic medium, crushed and powdered by Morg's stone statues that gave him ten years of prayer. The secrets of the magic administrator held by the Royal Coffin, especially if you see them."

"Hurry up, please! Horse riding is coming!

"Don't be in a hurry!... heavenly dragons in the sky! Under the wings of ancient times, give me and my soul the blade of the devil!

When Rodmaria and the janitors cast a spell, the sand-splashed arrows begin to shine green. The archers followed words to Rodmaria ordering him to "aim for the ground in front of the horse".

"Wind in the sky, power in the earth! Guardian dragon, give it to me!!... now! Shoot me!!

An arrow with a glow of magic screamed high and pierced the foot of a group of horses approaching nearby.
