One Hundred and Forty Stories: Settlement Defense Battle VIII

The defensive line was filled with strange silence.

There is no sound, no anger, no screaming, no sign of the devil moving around.

All the fighting stops, and people gather around the outskirts of the settlement and come to the meadows, as they did before the war.

Sabitoga approached the hedge (Hikari) with the girl, causing her body to break in between Blaze and Charcoal.

When I lay my gaze on everyone, I shrugged my face and groaned, "Are you crazy?" "No way," Blaze snorted, returning.

"That man is so crazy."

In the meadow, there was Raymond, the mayor of the village, who meets the giant skeleton nearby. He holds a bell-ringing corpse in his left hand and pokes a bone-loaded crossbow in its face.

That's a picture of the hostages, no matter what you think. To the monster opponent, taking the body hostage.

Straw raised his voice from across the Blaze, lowly "strange".

"You're such a joke Zama, but the big fat skeleton is silent. Don't try to crush Raymond. There's no way the hostage operation is a success. So, what the hell is going on?

"You don't know what the giant skeleton itself is doing in front of you."

To Charcoal's words, Straw slightly turns the button's gaze. Charcoal stuffed his bloody hands with his own clothes because of handling his wounded companion.

"People, animals, and other organisms all have common sense commensurate with their intelligence. Apply your own karma to the phenomenon and try to understand it. Still, they develop survival activities and try to fight them."

"... Raymond's behavior is so abrupt, you think he's eating?

"At least I guess the people who did the same thing in front of that monster weren't in the past. Hundreds of beings who had slaughtered (hoffs) before suddenly ran into bizarres they had never seen. Even you would see what happens if the deer you hunt down suddenly bark like a dog?

"Well, that's true."

Shortly after Straw returned it, Raymond's voice came up from the meadows. A sound collecting device in the waterway picks up the twinkling voice of a man confronting a giant.

'Why do you pray at death? A prayer for whom. A prayer for what. Pray, what do I get?'

"Do you want to go to heaven? You want some peace of mind after death? Or do you want us to forgive our own fucking way of life? '

"He who prays sees meaning in death and the body. I get it."

"I don't care how my friends are treated."

'Right?

The look on the face of the defensive line people frightened Raymond's voice, which sounded like a cold bottom. Immediately after.

A sound collecting device delivered an awful, deafening sound to everyone but their voice. Mirimiri, bump, the sound of destruction. Sabitoga had unconsciously covered the girl's eyes. I couldn't help but cover it up, even though I knew she didn't need it, having had a rough way of life in the woods.

'All of you, you're going to hell. I won't leave you with the dignity of a shard.'

Raymond, who chewed through the bell-ringing face, draped his demonic skin on his teeth, which had been stripped white. A giant skeleton that had stopped waves its arms at him with a devil's grin.

Sabitoga somehow saw the phantom of a strong expression on the face of the skeleton at that moment. A frequent roar (like this) heads to Raymond with his fist bones.

Using the bell ringing as a shield, I saw Raymond take evasive action. The figure is covered in earthen smoke.

Voices inadvertently came from overhead to the people preparing the backup attack. When he was coming back, Gidlett yells from the top of the tower as he pushes the last remaining big bang.

"Everybody off the defensive line! I'm gonna pull that skeleton over to the settlement! Somebody get some water and fire! Up on the tower!

Water and fire. Soon after listening back to the instructions, a moving sound of giant skeletons arrives from the meadows.

A giant chasing a dirty Raymond was approaching the settlement with his white bone mouth fully open.
