Chapter One Hundred and Sixty-Two - Leaning In

Chapter 800.

North of Rifney, in Simon's Golden House, a spa estate.

It was dawn, and Celia Miller, feeling a rustling around her, opened her eyes and noticed a figure dressing to one side of the window, so she rose slightly and propped her head up to smile and take stock.

Emily Joplin found Celia awake, fastened the last button of her shirt, leaned in to kiss her female boss, and said, "Celie, you can sleep a little longer."

Celia grabbed Emily's arm, "Don't go, sleep with me."

"It's never good to be seen by them," Emily said, but her body tilted over under Celia's light tug and asked, "By the way, what do you want for breakfast?"

"I'm sure the boss would say at this point that he wants to eat you."

"Oh."

After a few moments of small entanglements again, Celia finally let Emily go and lay back down, deciding to get some sleep.

It's still a pretty tired couple of days.

Only a short time after falling asleep, Emily shot awake, opened her eyes, saw the female assistant beside her, and asked with a smile, "Planning on sleeping with me again?"

"No," Emily's face was solemn, "Tymoshenko is outside the gates of the estate."

Celia froze and reacted, grabbed Emily's wrist and looked at her watch, it was only just after 7:30 and sighed, "A very caring woman, too bad Amy, send her away, just tell her I'm not seeing her."

"I already said so, and she said she wouldn't leave until she saw you."

Celia curled comfortably into the nest and languished, "Then let her wait, it's so cold out she can't stand it and will leave."

Emily laughed, "How can it be cold when people stay in the car? I think she's probably going to follow us all day today if you don't see her."

"Simon said I'm not allowed to pay attention to the gang. Just call a helicopter over later, we'll fly to the city after breakfast and see how she still follows."

"Okay."

Emily promised to get up and leave, only to return again a moment later and say to Celia on the bed, "Tymoshenko said that she wasn't here on behalf of Lazarenko, she was here on behalf of herself and wished to speak with you."

Celia's tone was confused, "Huh?"

"It's obvious that Tymoshenko intends to break away from Lazarenko and come to join us this time," Emily said, "So, Celie, are we going to continue to reject her?"

Celia paused for a second, reacting and sitting up sharply.

Although the experience of relying on a man to get to the top is not very glamorous, but to be able to spread the stall to such a large extent in just a few years in Ukraine, no one will deny Tymoshenko's ability, Celia as a woman have to admit to somewhat admire each other. Previously limited to the account of his own boss, only planned to ignore.

However, Celia's understanding of her own boss's command is based on the premise that Timoshenko is still on Lazarenko's side.

If the other side was going to defect to the Westeros system, Celia dutifully considered the matter from her own boss's standpoint, even though she knew that such a beautiful woman coming to her boss's side might weaken her power in Ukraine.

This should be a good thing.

About twenty minutes later, fully dressed Celia came downstairs to a study on the ground floor of the villa, where Yulia Tymoshenko, who was already waiting, got up from the sofa in a hurry.

"Hello, nice to meet you, Ms. Tymoshenko."

"Hello, Ms. Miller."

Celia greeted Tymoshenko with a handshake while sizing each other up.

The woman in front of her, who was about the same age as herself, was wearing a fashionable pink Chanel suit, with her flaxen hair loose, so the whole person looked a bit weak, not at all carrying the kind of strong womanly temperament of the rumored 'Ukrainian Gas Princess'.

Celia didn't ponder whether the other party's outfit today was deliberate or not, and after greeting, they sat down and she got right to the point: "Ms. Tymoshenko.

Timoshenko nodded, and without beating around the bush, said, "If Mr. Westeros will accept, I would like to join the Rovno gang and become a part of the Westeros system."

Celia was no longer as surprised as she had been when she had just heard Emily's message, but now with a bit of derision, "So, Ms. Timoshenko, what about Lazarenko?"

"Lazarenko and I are only partners, and ......" Tymoshenko said here, a little hesitant, but still: "If I am right, after this incident, Mr. President should soon dismiss Lazarenko's A position, which should be what Mr. Westeros would like to see, right?"

Celia was noncommittal, "In that case, Ms. Tymoshenko, with what sincerity do you intend to join the Westeros system?"

"This, I would like to meet with Mr. Westeros to discuss in person."

Celia looked at the still glowing woman in her thirties who was almost perfectly suited to her boss's tastes and instantly understood what kind of 'sincerity' the other party was planning to give, shrugging slightly, "Ms. Tymoshenko, if negotiating in person is your 'sincerity' ', I'll help get the word out, but frankly, the chances of you seeing your boss are low."

Timoshenko's expression remained unchanged and his tone was sincere, "Ms. Miller, could you contact Mr. Westeros now, I'm right here, perhaps I could talk to Mr. Westeros on the phone first?"

"Not now, Ms. Timoshenko, presumably you've forgotten such things as jet lag, it's late at night over in America, so I'll get back to you this afternoon."

So saying, Celia had gotten up and made a gesture of farewell.

Timoshenko, however, did not get up, but said, "Celia, if you don't mind, I'd like to stay here as a guest, I'm a woman, I should have no problem staying here, and I've just sent my driver away."

Celia, however, didn't compromise at all and made a gesture of invitation, "Ms. Timoshenko, Simon is a man who values his privacy, this is private property and even a woman can't easily stay here, there is a driver on the estate who can take you anywhere you want to go."

Timoshenko continued to fight for it, "I won't go around and just stay here, this study?"

"I'm sorry," Celia insisted on seeing the guest off, "Please, Ms. Timoshenko, I hope we don't have any unpleasant surprises."

Timoshenko, seeing such insistence from Celia, had to get up and say, "I've booked an apartment at the spa resort on the west side and will be staying there for the next few days, Ms. Miller, I hope to hear good news from you soon."

"Of course, I'll get back to you as soon as I can."

Sending Timoshenko away, Celia carefully counted the time, it was already late at night on both the east and west coasts of the United States, so she decided to contact North America again in the afternoon.

Together with Emily and Marta, the estate's housekeeper, they went to the villa dining room and ordered a breakfast from the waitress, remembering something, Celia asked Marta, "I don't think I've seen Natalia Benshikova since last night, where did she go?"

Natalia Banshikova, mother of the two girls of the estate, Galina Banshikova and Eva Banshikova.

Celia initially knew about these three mothers and daughters and only thought that her boss was ridiculous. However, this time over, the two girls are still there, but the mother is gone, and inevitably curious.

Marta said, "Nata has gone to London, and Madame has personally arranged for her to go over there to help Shulshkina and Antoinenko with the boss's property in London."

Marta said, and a little envious.

As well as, pity.

What could that woman who wasn't even as good as her two daughters do in London, who couldn't do anything but personally clean the rooms and serve tea, it was a waste, and it would be nice if she could leave for a big city like London.

Celia listened to Marta's explanation, and instantly understood.

In the end it was a ridiculous thing, there were too many girls and too many people over here, if she was in Janet Westeros' position, she would probably arrange things this way. By the way, the boss of the house was so flirtatious, but there had never been any shambles caused by women around him, and the Dumet Point Manor, who always quietly helped to clean up the mess, must have contributed.

Perhaps, from Celia's point of view, this was probably one of the major reasons why Janet Westeros, the rightful lady, was in a secure position.

On the other hand, Yulia Tymoshenko was driven back to the nearby resort's hotel villa by the Hot Springs Manor's driver and immediately dialed Lazarenko's phone, mainly to find out the progress of the Sherban assassination investigation, and Tymoshenko did not hide anything about the meeting he had just had with Celia Miller.

Of course will not tell the truth, a false sense of humility, and soon got the information he wanted.

The Donetsk side of the task force has already arrested the scapegoats they voluntarily sent on, and is now cleaning up the follow-up and playing games with the Donetsk gang, after all, the Donetsk side is not clean, and if they want to take advantage of this international public pressure to pursue, the worst case scenario is to completely take the lid off and see who stinks more.

In the end of the phone conversation, Lazarenko asked for money again, directly $ 10 million, said it was to compensate for the settlement of a few scapegoats, hating Tymoshenko almost slammed the phone out.

Where do you need $10 million for such a trivial matter.

However, after all, the two are still a grasshopper on a rope, in the end or promise.

After hanging up the phone, Tymoshenko informed her men to transfer money to Lazarenko, and after doing these things, she went to the second floor balcony connected with the bedroom, taking a look around the resort hotel apartments surrounded by whole transplanted evergreen cypress and the shadows of the entertainment area not far away, careful planning for future events.

Tymoshenko knew Lazarenko was finished, ever since the Sherban assassination had suddenly erupted on the international opinion platform three days ago, and had also received direct attention from the top brass of the United States and Russia.

The president's side is unlikely to allow Lazarenko to continue, whether out of scruples that threaten his own position or out of concern that Lazarenko will continue to cause chaos that will undermine his strategy of balancing his rule at home and abroad.

In recent years, Tymoshenko has followed Lazarenko to establish her own business empire, the surface of the scenery, but she is very aware that her own roots are still shallow, just like the largest cash cow in her hands, Ukraine's Unified Energy Company, which has a monopoly on domestic gas supply, once she loses the protection of Lazarenko, it will immediately be coveted by other political and business power coveted objects, and she has little power to resist.

Without the energy company's constant supply of money, there would be no future for the other industries that had only just spread out.

In any case, she had to find her next patron as soon as possible.

The terrible influence of the Rovno gang, or to be precise, the Westeros system behind it, displayed in this incident made Tymoshenko target her directly: Simon Westeros.

As long as she could lean on this man, all the problems she faced would no longer be a problem.

Moreover, the information gathered privately herself was very much in line with that young man's tastes, and Tymoshenko believed that as long as she could meet the other party, she had a 100% certainty of 'convincing' him to support her, and then she would even hopefully become the real Queen of Ukraine, and not just some so-called gas princess of the moment.

This was the real purpose of her coming to Rivne State.

Re-composing the plan in her mind, Timoshenko breathed a sigh of relief in the cold air and turned to go downstairs, intending to go to the entertainment area for a drink and relaxation.

The first time I saw her, I thought about it, but I didn't say no. Her usual security team had the equivalent of a platoon, all elite Soviet-era special forces, it can't be helped, Ukraine in recent years, all kinds of assassination activities are endless, similar to the attempted car bomb a few months ago Lazarenko encountered, she also encountered.

The last weekend was beaten into a sieve, Yev Sherban, is considered to be unlucky.

As for the Rivne side, Tymoshenko actually knows that the president's son-in-law, Viktor Pinchuk, and a deputy governor of Donetsk have both arrived in Rivne, and although he doesn't believe that his opponent will do it in Rivne, which is tantamount to a direct provocation to the Westeros system, he has to guard against it.

So it went on until evening, never receiving a reply from Celia Miller, and Tymoshenko finally sensed that something was wrong.

He didn't ask for Celia Miller's contact information at Simon Westeros's beautiful hot spring manor, but contacted Sergei Komorov first, and the information he received made him feel cold from head to toe.

Celia Miller had surprisingly departed for North America this afternoon.

Beauchamp!

I'm cursing and I'm at a loss for words.

What to do now?

Timoshenko imagines that Komorov is cheating on her and is about to run over to the spa estate again when the head of the resort, Andrei Smirnov, comes to her personally and delivers a letter that Celia Miller left for her before she left. It is opened directly in front of Smirnov, and on a thin page there is only one very scrawled sentence in Russian

--The boss says you're not sincere, so we'll just forget about it.

This time it's a breath of fresh air.

Andrei Smirnov looked at the Ukrainian businesswoman with the changing face before him, waited a moment and asked, "Ms. Tymoshenko, if there are no further questions, I'll leave?"

Timoshenko was busy calming down and asked Andrei, "When was this letter delivered?"

"About three o'clock this afternoon, but Mrs. Miller asked me to give it to you at six in the evening."

Timoshenko nodded.

Not to be reminded of Celia Miller's reminder during the morning's meeting, it seemed he'd really made a mistake, and if he'd known, he should have prepared a proposal full of sincerity beforehand, instead of plainly having to meet with Westeros. In any case, I'm sure I could get more back in the future if I could lean on that man.

Thinking this way, my heart became annoyed again.

If that woman in the morning had just reminded her a little more, maybe she would have woken up, why didn't she just remind herself a little more!

Now what?

Fly directly to North America?

Not to mention the possibility of seeing Westeros, with the current turmoil, she didn't dare to venture out of Ukraine without a positive response from Westeros. Who knows what will become of this side if she goes out there and comes back.

As for the Rovno gang's side.

Whether it was Sergei Komorov, Klim Gerevyanko or Vladimir Korkosko, these people, pinched together with great strength, but none of them are considered to be talkers themselves, in fact, it is easy to see that Simon Westeros did not want to foster a leader on this side at all, even Celia Miller is just an agent.

The real power was in the hands of the young man at the top after all.

Therefore, contacting the top brass of the Rovno Gang would not yield any results at all.

With this careful calculation, that meeting this morning was perhaps her best chance to establish contact with Westeros.

Unfortunately, it was missed.

It was all because of that damned Bi Chi, or perhaps, the other party was just deliberately, not wanting her to walk beside Simon Westeros.

Although his heart hated it, but gradually calmed down, Tymoshenko had to face the reality and hurriedly left Rivne to return to Kiev.

Since she couldn't take on Simon Westeros, Lazarenko, her ally, must do her best to maintain it, whether she wants to or not, and also consider finding other allies.
